Pain of past

A month has passed since Naruto met with Tsunade. They had a strange relationship between them.

Naruto would win money at every casino he went to and Tsunade would lose them at another. This made Shizune weird.

But one thing that is common between these two is that both of them are mad about drinking. Naruto normally doesn't get drunk.

But his wine is good. Every time Tsunade got drunk she would make a scene and it was him who had to save their ass every day.

Shizune's headache also became lesser because of this as Naruto will be there to save her ass. Also they find out that Naruto really is fast on his leg.

Every time they ran from somewhere no one could catch them. This made them think that he is a Ninja too. But they didn't ask anything about his personal life as he also never asked them about their.

They also made a name for themselves in those casinos. The sucker and winer. But still not loud enough that all casinos would ban them from entering their casino.

Like always they are on their way to the next town. But Naruto noticed that Tsunade's mood isn't good today from the morning.

He asked many times what happened but she didn't say anything. Shizune is also quiet all day. Naruto didn't ask anything anymore.

After some walking they saw a town ahead. Naruto smile as he wants to loot *cough* play in this town's casino too.

After reaching the town Naruto looked at Tsunade but didn't see the usual happy smile. Naruto looks confused and asks "hey, Tsuna, don't you want to play today."

Tsunade looks at Naruto and smiles and shakes her head. He can feel that her mood isn't good. Naruto also feels that Shizune's mood isn't good either.

Naruto sighs as he also lost the mood to play today. They went to a hotel and booked three rooms for themselves. Tsunade went to her room and immediately closed it.

Naruto looked at Shizune questioningly and just gave a forced melancholic smile and said "don't ask anything today. I will also be in my room. You go and play, don't wait for us."

After that She went inside her room and locked it behind. Naruto looks at the two closed doors confusedly.

He doesn't know what happened to them. Suddenly he remembered Tsunade's past. 'Don't tell me, was it today?'

Naruto now feels sad and bad too. He went inside his room. He takes a shower first and comes out. He wore a kimono and sat beside the window. They are on the second floor.

He looked outside and saw people going on their way. Some are happy, some are in a hurry, some in tension and many more.

He also looks at the sky. It's dusk time. Sun will go down any moment.

Suddenly Naruto feels with his Haki that Tsunade is also sitting beside her window and looking outside. Her mood isn't good either.

Naruto takes a deep breath and stands up. He brings out a bottle of wine. This one is better than all the wine they drink until now.

He made it with many precious and rare herbs. This is not only a good alcohol but also good for health.

He got out of his room and went to Tsunade's room. He knocked a few times but she didn't open her room nor answer.

He then went to his room, went out of his window and walked on the wall as he went to Tsunade's window. As soon as he reached there Tsunade also noticed him.

She sighed and said "what do you want?"

Naruto goes inside and sits beside her. He didn't pour any on the glass but directly gave her the bottle. He also brings out another.

Naruto directly starts drinking from the bottle. Tsunade looks at the bottle of wine in her hand and notices that this one is different from the usual they drink.

She understands that this one must be very expensive. Yeah, she still thinks that these wines weren't made by him. But he collects them on his journey.

She looks at Naruto who is drinking directly from the bottle and feels touched. She knows that he wants to cheer her up.

She opens the cap and takes a sip. Instantly her eyes widened. She feels like she isn't drinking wine, instead a nectar produced by nature itself.

She is a medic herself. So she can feel the medical property very well. She knows this wine is very good for health.

She looks at Naruto and gives a little smile. She didn't say anything and started drinking directly from the bottle.

After a few gulps they both stop. The sun is already set, the mood is up in the sky. Tsunade looks outside and looks at the night sky.

The town already lights the bulb but it is still not as light as in the 21st century.

Tsunade suddenly said "it's my brother's birthday." Naruto looks at her. He didn't say anything. Tsunade suddenly touched the necklace on her neck and said "it was also the last day I saw my brother."

Naruto looks at the necklace. In the original, this necklace should have been passed down to him. So he knows everything about it.

Tsunade takes another gulp of the wine. Naruto did the same. Naruto suddenly asks "what happened?"

Even though he knows he still asks. She doesn't know that he has knowledge of everything in this world.

He also never thought of saying these things to any of his family or any of the world. At least not yet. He doesn't want to say that "all of you are fictional and I read about you."

Oh hell knows, how would he feel if suddenly someone come and say "your System is not really and you are a character of a book"

Yeah he would feel worse. He doesn't want his family to feel that.

Someone far from him yet also close to him, a figure of light suddenly chuckles again as the light observes him.

Tsunade looked outside and said "War" Naruto also looked outside.

They turned around and leaned their back on the wall. After that Tsunade said what happened that day. At the end her eyes were moistened. Naruto hugs her from the side.

Tsunade didn't reject it. Naruto drank some wine too and said "well, war took my family too. Both my father's and Mother's clan got destroyed completely. My parents also died while protecting me from a monster."

Tsunade looks up and looks at Naruto. She felt shocked too. She didn't know this. Well they never ask about each other.

Tsunade laughed melancholy and said "we are pathetically survivors of our destroyed clan huh."

Tsunade rested her head on his shoulder. They continued to drink wine from their bottle.

A few moments later, the wine finally finished. Tsunade looked at the empty bottle and said "it's finished, do you have any more."

Naruto shook his head and said "enough for tonight."

Naruto was about to stand up but Tsunade grabbed his hand. Naruto looks at her confusedly. She also look at his eyes and said "don't go"

Naruto looked at her for a sec and nodded his head. He returned to his place and sat beside her. She rested her head on his shoulder.

She stays like that. After some time she asked "do you have someone you like?"

Naruto nodded his head and said "yeah, a lot of them." Tsunade giggles and says "well, I am not surprised. With your look girls should be all over you."

They become quiet again. Tsunade suddenly asks "why are you being nice to us? This is a Shinobi world, where people kill each other on whim. But you never try to do anything with us."

Naruto smiled and said "maybe, I like you."

Tsunade giggled and said "I am very old, you know."

They again became quiet. After a minute Tsunade lifts her head and looks at Naruto. Naruto also looks at her.

Their eyes meet. They continue to look at each other. Suddenly Naruto moves towards Tsunade. Tsunade didn't move back.

Finally their lips made contact and they kissed.
