Chapter 15

Raoh held his sword and looked in front of him. There were some men of the Fire Nation, who had come for him as some civilians reported the massacre. But they seemed to switch attention once they noticed the group that appeared behind him, and one of them is a friend, a slave mate, who had been sleeping next to him.

"Tsu. Need a hand, or do I need to fight?"

"You can leave this for us." Tsu lifted his hand.

Some men and women stepped forward and started making some stances.

The earth started moving, and a fire started to light on their side. It seems that some of the fire nation guys are resisting too.

From the opposite side, the Firebenders started doing stances on their own, creating a huge fireball that headed toward them.

June held Nyla and Raoh's hand and pulled them to the side, to hide between a few houses.

She was breathing heavily as she looked at the two sides and said. "A battle between benders isn't something that you want to interfere with. Not without money."

"Or purpose." Raoh leaned on one of the houses and pushed his head right to see.

The fire was blocked by walls of earth, and the rocks that flew at the fire nation guys were blown up.

It seems to be an equal battle.

'Breakdance in the middle of the fight… the best way to solve a conflict… Only if I had a proper music player, I would play a song…'

"Well, I have paid you, so you should be on your way by now."

"Yeah, I guessed that you will say that much." She walked to him and punched his shoulder. "But it was fun to see the Ripper in action. Don't let your guard down, I'll hunt you one day."

Raoh lowered his head and stared at her black eyes and smiled. "I'll put you to the ground."

There was a moment of silence. June looked at Raoh's muscles, before staring at his lips. Once she stared at his eyes, she knew he caught her staring. There was a pause in that second. Raoh, for a second, felt tempted. She was a pretty woman, and he was a single man… and he stared at her lips.

He felt the signal, and he put his hand on the back of her head, before leaning down.

June didn't resist, half-closed her eyes, and gave in for a second. Their lips met, and the kiss was deep, the two closed their eyes. But the explosion of the fire and rocks told them that they can't keep this anymore.

June pulled back and stared at his eyes, smirking. "You know, big boy, this is the last thing you get for free from me."

"Will there be taxes next time?" Raoh asked, joking back.

"As much as I would like to stay, I can't risk being wanted. You know where you will find me." June patted his chest. She knew that he was waiting to unite with the White Lotus Order. Unfortunately, she can't just risk her career because she got charmed by a pretty man. She gave him a small pat, turned to Nyla, and jumped. Raoh didn't forget to give her curvy bubble ass a slap. She turned and gave him a stare, before smiling slightly, and then, Nyla started running.

Raoh turned his eyes to the battlefield. The fire nation and the White Lotus were fighting. It seemed that they are distracted by each other. Best time to hit.

Using Shave, he vanished from the sight. His speed was too much for anyone's eyes here, let alone a distracted soldier. Moving in different patterns, Raoh appeared behind the Fire Nation forces.

They seemed to be unaware of his existence. Raoh, in his previous life, was very good when it comes to the assassination.

Unsheathing the sword, he started waving it left and right as he walked forward. Limbs started flying, and deep wounds were planted in them. What seemed to be a law enforcement force was taken down by a sneaky attack.

Once they gave him attention as the blood had flown everywhere, the benders from the other side managed to reach them with their attacks.

Raoh bent a little to the side, and a rock covered in fire flew past him.

"Hey! You almost got me!" Raoh yelled.

Tsu lifted his hands and turned. The benders of the White Lotus stopped. Instead, they looked at him with confused expressions on their faces. It seemed to be a result of their astonishment that Raoh, who had been in the middle, vanished between the buildings, and in no time, he appeared behind their foes and cut them.

Little did they know what he had done in that little time.

Tsu turned back to Raoh, and he started walking, he opened his arms. "I guess I owe you an apology," and he laughed.

"For what." Raoh walked to him. Seeing Tsu's attempt to hug him, Raoh lifted his hand and sat down. "I'm quite tired."

Tsu moved his hands behind his head and pretended to scratch.

He said. "I apologise for saying that you wouldn't escape. I have to say, I was really impressed when you told us to run if you don't die." He then turned. "Guys, he is the man I told you about."

"Well, couldn't eat bread anymore."

"I see that you have gained some weight. Were you eating well?"

"I was," Raoh said as he looked around. "I guess it's not a suitable place to stay in."

"Right," Tsu replied when he looked around. The place was full of corpses and injured people. Limbs were everywhere.

"So, you are the infamous The Ripper." Said a fire bender girl who was on the White Lotus side.

Raoh just nodded.

"Did you really break the prison gate with your bare fists?" Said a large man as he went to Raoh and looked at his fists.

Raoh felt that he has become famous. In One Piece world, no one questioned his power. Here, everyone seems to do so.

"You have really great power. What martial art do you practise…" another girl said. "You are good with swords."

"What a headache…" Raoh sighed as he lifted his head.

Tsu turned to his people. "Come on. Can't you see that my man is tired?"

"My man?" someone said.

"Yeah, we used to share the bread," Tsu said.

"More likely you used to eat my share," Raoh said.

"Hush… I'm trying to look tougher." Tsu whispered.

"Anyway, I have been looking for you guys," Raoh said, and the White Lotus people stopped.

"Huh? For what. Do you want to join and fight the Fire Nation?"

"I have no desire for that. But I have a piece of information that can… what's the right context to say… right." Raoh thought of a suitable way to say what he has. "What I know can resort the balance to the elemental Nations. I know where the Avatar is… and he needs to be awakened."

"You know!" Tsu opened his eyes widely and shook Raoh from his collar. "Where is he! Tell me!"

Raoh moved his eyes to the side. "It's top-secret. I need to tell it to the higher up directly. We can't risk it that someone will go after to kill him."

Tsu calmed down. He didn't seem to question of Raoh is lying. Well, he stopped questioning him ever since he said he will gain his freedom back.

Tsu said. "Fine… Lord Zuko will see in this."
