On the road

I was sorting out the loot from the pirates. We tied them up and passed them off to the Mayor to do whatever with. The old man was more than happy to handle them. Mai was a little unhappy with our interruption of her shopping, but telling she was messing around with a new butterfly knife she was content.

"Can you not look through that garbage here?" I looked at Azula. Staring her straight in the eyes as I pulled out a instrument of some kind and blew into it. I looked down and blew into it again. She stared at me and rolled her eyes. "You are are playing it from the wrong side dumbass."

I frowned and flipped it around, "Okay that's fair. Anyway this vehicle is pretty fast." We had left the ship behind and Azula left Lo and Li to take care of it. We had a crew of like 20 on this thing while on the ship was a crew of 90. So despite its speed it was fairly small.

Azula was siting in a throne looking chair while Mai was near a window. Which left Ty Lee and me to sit in the only two open seats. It was clear this room was made for only three people. None the less it had enough room for me to look through my loot. "Orin do you have some sort of pack rat disorder?"

"Huh?" I looked at Azula, she continued gesturing to me and my new stuff. "You are over their looking like some kind of goblin rummaging through garbage." I pulled out a statue with two red jeweled eyes. How could you say this is garbage?" I Ripped out the two Rubies from the statue and tossed the statue.

"You took that thing for the rubies? You know I could just give you some." I frowned at Azula. She didn't understand. It was the act of looting the rubies and obtaining them as a prize after an encounter....Shit could I make DnD? Nah, That might be too much and it would be to niche of a creation.

Azula kept staring at me. Her face was a little red actually, "Hey Azula are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine, just its a little hot in this thing. I am gonna go to my room." Azula got up and left. I sifted through more stuff. Finding some scrolls and books I would check out.

"Hey how long will this tank thingy to get to the library?" I held up four fingers for Ty Lee. "Four days?" I nodded.

"What are you doing that you couldn't respond?" I looked at Mai with a mouth full of trail mix and she just sighed. "That's disgusting you don't know how old that is."

I finished off the bag and responded, "It had chocolate and dried fruits how could I not eat it?" Ty Lee stopped what she was doing. "You could've shared." I pulled out another bag and tossed it to her.

"Oh you have more?" I nodded, "Those pirates had bags of those things. Pretty smart I'd say if they spend to much time eating grains."

Ty Lee started eating her baggie of trail mix, "Why would it be smart?" I was about to explain scurvy, but I just shook my head. The ATLA world was technically smaller than earth so maybe it wasn't known as scurvy? "You can get sick if you don't have a diverse diet."

Ty Lee nodded, "I can understand that, but I'd swallow anything really." I paused...

"Phrasing do you think about what you say? This has been like the 5 time." Ty lee blinked and Mai just shook her head at me. "What do you mean? Mai What does he mean?"

Mai sighed, "It's something gross Ty Lee. Don't ask about it." I looked at Mai curiously and she knew what i was gonna ask. "I won't answer you. So don't you dare."

I smiled, "I take it you would spit then Mai? Unless of course you prefer facials." Ty Lee smiled with me. "Oh I love facials, they are great for you skin."

Mai sighed, "Ty Lee he doesn't mean what you are thinking. Come here and I'll explain, I'd rather not say it aloud." Ty Lee flipped over to Mai and put her ear near Mai. I simply continued smiling watching Ty Lee's own smile turn into confusion and then into what I couldn't tell if it was disgust or curiosity. "I should be careful about what I say shouldn't I..."

I shrugged, "I find it mind blowing on how innocent you are Ty Lee." She shook her head and stood up. "I think I am gonna go to bed." I shrugged, that was fair. Ty Lee left quickly after that with definite embarrassment.

"Why are you like this?" I looked over to Mai, "What do you mean?"

"Number one you are much worse than Azula. At least she doesn't make me want to laugh. You though..." She shook her head, "Number two just so you know, oh god... I am the only one with any experience. Azula will understand it, but she won't get it. For Ty Lee she may say something, but not understand it. So forth and what not, so tone it down a little." She then gestured to me, "Or Number three deal with that."

I shifted my legs, "Is this how it feels like to be oogled. I know can say I understand women with large breasts. Though I guess you don't get that often." Mai frowned, "You are disgusting, and I could castrate you while you sleep." Mai smiled fucking creepily and I had a chill down my spine.

"Fair shots, let's not take those jabs again."

Mai nodded, "Good you understand that." I stared at Mai, "Are you going to go to sleep? I mean I have to watch where we go, but...?"

Mai shrugged, "I'm not tired." I stared at Mai apparently something on my face gave me away.

"Oh you are disgusting! We have to use this room."

"I have NEEDS Mai! and this is the only soundproof room!"

Mai looked at me in horror, "Why do you need soundproofing? What the fuck!?"

"Why are you still here?" Mai stared at me, and I stared back.
