oh those forbidden words, the oh so forbidden words. Mai for whatever reason said what could get worse. It was simple really, the rodent things found my previous exit and started filling the tunnel. So how overly it was to now create a barrier behind us as I dug through the earth.

"God its dark in here."

"I wonder why?" We could use fire bending to create a light source, but after what was likely an encounter with a unground gas deposit...

"You think those rodents are trying to follow us?"

I looked back at Ty Lee, "Did you learn nothing?"

Azula sighed, "can you stop being so skeptic and just get us out of here?"

Rolling my eyes I punched a hole out. Rocks tumbled down into a water crest. Azula stepped in front of me and was looking at the map. "Are we here or here?"

She pointed to two places on the map. I looked out of the hole I mad and back at the map. "Am I crazy or are we at the servant's passage?"

Azula looked at me like I was crazy, "That's way to far, how would we have made it there?"

I looked over Azula's shoulder. It wasn't easy trying to- "I'd say the giant green serpent is a good indicator."

Looking up we all stared at the serpent. Mai was right, that was a good indicator. Serpent's passage was called that because it was close to a Kaijozuo Serpent Nest. Aka the green serpent. "How did we get here so fast?"

Azula trailed her finger along the map. She spoke with a sarcastic tone, "Huh we went straight through a mountain, good job Orin."

Looking at the map I figured out what she meant. At one point I tried to tunnel up, but I couldn't find soil. It seemed I went to far north in my tunneling which caused us to enter a mountain range. From there we trailed through some badger mole tunnels and into and across the mountains.

I stared out to the ocean where I could see a fast moving cloud. That ascended away from the serpent....

Huh, the butterfly effect was a strange thing. Appa wasn't kidnapped by sand benders because they never visited the library I think. So there went the Aang gang literally flying to Ba sing se. I blinked each eye individually as I thought about how likely there was a spirit for luck and if I should kill them.

If there wasn't, then all I had to say was divine providence was real and I hated it. None of the girls seemed to notice that fast moving cloud and I really didn't blame them. After all looking at them, they were pre-occupied by fighting. I wasn't paying attention to them so, I had no idea about what.

I sat down at the hole's edge. I think I just spent three days tunneling through the earth just to see the power of the leisure flight. Either that or I drank from my cactus juice flask.

-----June pov-----

Its been days and I haven't felt anything wrong at all. Orin that fucker actually did manage to cure my addiction to well everything. I've been to several bars and taverns since my separation from Orin and those bitches. Yet I don't feel any sort of extreme craving or even pull. Hell i didn't even feel like gambling, which made me really reflect on my hobbies.

I could take up reading or stamp collecting now or something? That might be fun...

Oh fuck, this is a problem. Orin's 'fix' was a little to effective, I think i am gonna puke. Nyla stopped and started sniffing around. It seemed this was it. Nyla dug at the ground and revealed a dagger. Picking up I looked it over.

Symbols went along the side marking it. Shaking my head I threw it into Nyla's bag. What the hell was Orin to get involved with these guys. The Spiritis, a stupid group that tried to hire my father to kill a king. This Feng Tai guy seemed to be involved with them, though I had thought that group were killed by Adis Khan.

Speaking of whatever happened to that guy? He was a pretty good bounty hunter, but I haven't heard anything about him in years. Nyla picked up a new scent, it was strange I didn't show her a new one.

"Care to return my knife?"

Both of us reacted instantly and backed off. Nyla didn't seem to smell this person. My eyes widened as I saw him. His skin was peeling and he had several burns. His skin was pruned as if he just rolled out of the ocean. I pressed my thighs into Nyla giving her the signal to run. I was not in the mood for unknowns.

After this my personal debt to Orin will be done. Nyla ran booking it through the hills. Fuck that shit, and fuck this bullshit.

-----Feng Tai pov----

That woman just ran away with my knife. That wasn't particularly nice... I twitched scratching at my elbows again. That whispering in my ears began again. I could agree with what the thing wanted, but I wasn't happy with the invasion of my clarity.

I clenched my fists, as the distant voice spoke in my ear. I shook it from my head and walked on. The dagger didn't mean much, just a memento from the dead.
