A Hawk

We were closing in to Earth kingdom. A land galleon was apparently prepared for when we would reach land. For the past few days Azula had been training with me. On days she practice her lightning bending I talked to Mai and Ty Lee. I had figured out more about Ty Lee's Chi Blocking too. Learning that it does basically allow her a weird 6th sense feeling for Chi or what she calls 'aura'. She even used chi blocking on me leaving me on the floor mostly unmoving.

As it turns out being Chi blocked helped me increase my energy bending skill. As the feeling of being Chi blocked was the complete opposite of using Energy bending on myself. I had to wonder if one were to master energy bending could one reverse Chi blocking? Would be neat, but Chi blocking is pretty Niche as only Ty Lee's family uses the skill. On the bright side, making progress with energy bending was perfect and I might use Ty Lee to help train that in secret. I would need a good excuse though...

Hearing a screech a messenger hawk flew down from the sky. I took the message from it and a had one of the guards fed the hawk some bird seed. "Whatcha got there Orin?" Ty Lee walked up from somewhere. It looked like she was doing some gymnastics or something as she was kind of sweaty.

"Hey Ty Lee, don't know yet. I'm gonna read it..." Opening the scroll while walking I read the first line of the message and slammed the scroll close. "Ty Lee Get Azula and Mai we will meet in the Conference room."

"The one with the big table? What's up?" I couldn't respond to Ty Lee since I booked it to the exact room I was talking about. When I got to the room i slammed the door shut and threw the scroll on to the table pinning it down with some weight. I needed to think quickly before the three girls arrived...

In the message it was addressed to Azula. It was about her brother Zuko, but the problem was the first line read that Zuko found the Avatar! I've been waiting for this, but now it came I just wasn't sure. I went through everything one by one.

First things first, starting with the spiritual shit of avatar. I needed to learn energy bending and teach it to Aang. Find the Lion turtle corpses and contact their spirits. Open the spirit portals and figure out whats going on with Raava and Vaatu. Personal missions include advancing the tech of the world for the sake of modern luxury. Finally helping Azula become the fire lord instead of Zuko so I can use positional ability to do whatever I want and achieve a happy ending...

I breathed out, I knew how to weave this into everything. Right on time too, the Three girls walked into the room. "What do you want Orin, I was busy." I pointed to the scroll and allowed Azula to walk past me to read it. Ty Lee stayed on the side the door was on while Mai had looked at the scroll over Azula's shoulder.

"How?" Azula spoke in a low tone. "It was bound to happen eventually. There was no avatar in the what last 112 years? Which means 3 possibility." Azula stared at me to continue, I knew the truth, but I gave her the logical conclusion. "Either its a 112 year old man, a water bender or... The avatar had used some special method to hide away."

After the mention of the Avatar Ty Lee had gotten curious enough to look over Azula's shoulder as well. Azula though had started a cold rage it seemed, her hands were burning the table. Not to mention her Psyche was slowly ticking down. I breathed in and out, "I think we wait."

Azula glared into me, "Why?" Mai had come to my rescue, thank god. "We don't know if this is real or not. Not to mention I can't imagine capturing the avatar would be easy." I nodded, "Exactly, now Azula calm down. Start Breathing in and out, we got 4 brains here. We can always find an advantage."

Azula stared at me and then sighed, "You are right. No sense in worrying about incomplete information. We can continue our current plans and learn some valuable information while doing so. I am gonna sleep on this, good night."

Azula walked out of the room and Ty Lee spoke up, "But its like noon..." "Ty Lee I don't think Azula cares about that." I had to agree with Mai, after all Azula's status was a mess. I kept getting notifications over and over and over. The same two messages...

It made her psyche stuck at 59, I had a sinking feeling that the reason for this was more complicated then normal. After all its not like Azula would just get angry over something like this, but maybe...

Hmmm I would need to be-careful, I think this was a slight twist from something I caused.
