BOOM!

In the middle of an unnamed Forest landed a ball of silvery light. Smoke rose up the air and transformed the surrounding into a smoldering oven.

"Ack…that…hurts. That… really hurts." a voice came from the middle of a small crater; a human with one arm lay bleeding.

It was none other than Isaac. After the burst of adrenaline halted from circulating, Isaac finally felt the after-effects of the fight.

Isaac was a man who rose from being a frail studious child to a warrior. However, that was all because of his ability to ignore his pain when he's under intense pain. Because of this characteristic, Isaac could last longer in fights where he should've fallen.

After the fighting was finished, he would feel the full brunt of the pain he ignored. Due to this, Isaac gained the title Savage Scholar.

Back in Arcadia, there was a legend that Savage Scholar grows stronger the longer the fight draws. The more dangerous the situation becomes, the more cunning he turns.

He had terrifying skills, but when he is pressured or put in dire situations, Isaac would then, in turn, become a nightmare for his enemy, as demonstrated against Ulises. Of course, Isaac was not undefeated, he had suffered numerous defeats, but even then, he would fatally injure his enemies physically, emotionally, or mentally.

His favorite thing to do was traumatize those he deems deserving.

Now, Isaac was writhing in pain. He could feel every fiber of his being screaming and the blood. His Advance-Regeneration could keep him alive, but landing in the middle of a Forest was a bonus he did not expect.

After thirty minutes of lying on the ground, he regained enough strength to emit dangerous bloodlust, scaring the Beasts away. Isaac forced his body up and crawled to a tree to rest his back.

"I was separated from Tari and the Draco… Davil, yeah, that's his name. I can't even properly think anymore." Isaac wasn't even mad that he got separated from the two. He was already warned about the problems with the Forbidden Spell, and he's just glad they managed to escape.

"If we took off on foot, we would've been caught the minute he woke up." He could remember the intensity of Ulises' attacks very well, "That ten percent was a lie; he was toying with us until I awakened the Hymn. I couldn't even taste the strength of such a being…."

Isaac's hands shook, but he cracked into a smile from excitement, "If he's that strong, then that only means he was hiding so much more interesting things. That means I can someday reach the same level."

Other than the thought of a rematch, the prospect of reaching the same level as Ulises tickled Isaac's adventurous spirit, "I really want to leave and discover more things, but before doing anything drastic, I should go back home first."

[The Crying Silver Moon has not risen: 91:06:18 before the next Crying Silver Moon]

You have no Travel Stone]

"I need a travel stone, a fun Quest - that's not a Class Advancement Quest -and some good booze. I also need a new sword for the Great Armory to awaken the memory of the Previous Ruler. I haven't even completed the Trials of the Deity Templar, and I still need to find that thing for Lilia… wait, I also need a new right arm." he laughed, realizing he had to sacrifice to run away, "...I'm going to take Ulises' right arm when I rechallenge him."

Taking a deep breath, Isaac could remember the plethora of things lined up, "I'm swamped outside of my curiosities."

For the next hour, Isaac just refined his thoughts. He was hungry, so he meditated to conserve stamina.

His Passive Regenerative Skills eat away not in mana but stamina. He was already so weak and tired that he was afraid that the Regenerative Skills would fail him before he could heal to an operative degree.

Outside of his Class Passive Skills, Isaac actually had many abilities he could use.

Passive Skills

[Advance-Regeneration - Gift of the Ancient Elf - Tempered Iron Body - Slow Flow - Battle Frenzy - Raging Devil - Ashura Manifestation - True Balance - Perfect Mana Circulation - Perfect Energy Circulation - World Tongue - Information Hunter - Lore Hunter - Food Hunter]

Passive Skills

Traits

[Try Hard - Tenacious - Stubborn - Selfish Justice - Equital Views - True Warrior - Elemental Friend - Mythical Searcher - Incessantly Curious - Seer of forbidden Secrets - Petty - Hard to Kill - Slow Start - Fighting Maniac]

He had a lot of Passive Skills and traits. Some had little to no requirements to become active, while others needed circumstantial events to show their uses. But his most used abilities were:

[Passive Skills: Advance-Regeneration (Active): a massive increase in regeneration capability

Gift of the Great Ancient Elf (Active): Your regeneration increases while inside a region filled with trees.]

[Title:

Calamity Survivor (Active): Your vitality increases slightly while asleep.]

[Trait:

Try Hard (Active)]

Passive Skills were used through training, experience, body modification, and potions. It could also be acquired through Gifts from particular people.

Isaac only had Gifted Passive Skill he got from a close friend.

As for Traits, that's something that appears and reflects those who got them. Most Traits were useless like [Petty], but others like [Try Hard] had uses though far and few between. Unlike Passive Skills, Traits could disappear when the user matures out of said Trait.

Isaac had not matured enough to get rid of his pettiness.

Going through Isaac's Passive Skills and Traits, it could be seen that he's someone who enjoys fighting. But, other than that, it also showed how he's such a survivor.

When his passive regenerative skill stopped momentarily to not absorb too much stamina and instead kill him, Isaac decided it was time.

"I need food."

Isaac said to himself and opened his eyes only to find a two-meter giant skeleton garbed in scorched black armor looking down upon him.

[Death Knight Lv. 542]

"..."

"..."

Isaac looked at its hollow eyes, thinking of ways to escape.

Suddenly, the Death Knight lifted its hand, "You seem hungry. Do you want some jerky?"

The Death Knight offered him food.

"...yeah sure." Isaac accepted.

Fun Fact #15

Passive Regenerative Skills uses stamina to patch up the physical vessel. Once the stamina is deemed to be used up it would then turn off. However, if the wound is fatal, the Regenerative Skill would choose to instead slow down the bleeding and fix fatal injuries to ensure higher survival rate.
