Auxiliary Immortal

The world of immortal cultivation was always a grand one, filled with powerful swordsmen who could cut planets in half, divine doctors who could bring the dead back to life, and naturally the beautiful female cultivators who's single glance could stop the hearts of thousands of mortal men. Unfortunately for Minos, a poorly talented handy-man disciple of the Green Barrel Sect, that was a life he was destined to never know. That was until he figured out he actually was talented, though not in the conventional ways!

Nine-Moon Nux Burst Pill

Hearing his words, even Minos couldn't help but be slightly shocked, having never come in contact with anything of such high quality.

The greatest pill he had ever seen was only a Seven-Moon Pill, and that was extremely rare, immediately being auctioned off for an ungodly amount.

He had always wanted to attempt making a Seven-Moon Pill himself, but unfortunately, the resources were just too rare, so he never had the opportunity even up until he left the Alephora Continent behind.

Of course now that he was in this much bigger world, he believed it would only be a matter of time before he made a pill of that quality, but that was a question for another time, right now he was more interested in this Nux Burst Pill.

He had heard of this pill before, having even made a Four-Moon version before by himself.

Because of that, he knew the effects, which just happened to be exactly what he needed at this time.

Since his cultivation technique changed last time, his cultivation level dropped to the bottom of Inner Heaven, but if he got this pill, while it wasn't a guarantee he could regain his original cultivation, he could at least reach the Water Cloud Layer again.

With all things considered, Minos decided to take up the offer, after all, it wasn't like it was dangerous anyways.

"Alright, I'll try, but no guarantees."

"Thank you very much!" Mr. Dethwin said, standing from his chair to shake Minos's hand vigorously.

"Anyways, where is that son of yours?" Minos asked after Mr. Dethwin finally released his grip.

"Oh right, he should be at the Red Vine Club, like he usually is." Mr. Dethwin said, his voice tinged with embarrassment.

"Red Vine Club?" Minos questioned, not sure what the place was like.

"It's natural a man of your caliber wouldn't be aware of such an establishment, but for people like my son, it's like a little slice of heaven on earth."

"Is that so? Based on the description, I assume it's that kind of place." Minos said with a slightly raised brow.

"Exactly… To think my son would end up one of those types of people…"

"Hey, he's a man after all, isn't it natural he likes that kind of stuff?" Minos said with a laugh, having experienced his fair share of clubs in the past as well.

"If it was just that, I could understand, but he's recently become obsessed with one of the workers, throwing thousands of Nux Stones at her just these past few months alone."

"Thousands? It pays to be beautiful, huh?"

"Now is no time for jokes Mr. Minos, this is serious!" Mr. Dethwin said exasperatedly.

"My mistake, but if you don't mind, I've got one more question. Since your son is so incompetent, why not just have your daughter take over instead?"

"To be honest, it just comes down to talent. Despite my son's character flaws, he has incredible cultivation talent, and as you know, strength is at the center of everything."

"My daughter may be a little less flawed, but her talent is only average, and I'm afraid she won't have the strength to control a ship this large." Mr. Dethwin explained.

"I see. Well then, I've got quite the job ahead of me." Minos said, standing up from his seat.

"Good luck. I hope you can reach him, he's quite stubborn."

"Don't worry, while I may not be an expert, I'm quite understanding of human nature." Minos smiled, walking with Mr. Dethwin back towards the elevator.

Like that, the two rejoined the banquet, Mr. Dethwin introducing Minos to a few of his friends and colleagues, expanding his connections instantly. It was just a shame he didn't plan on staying in this city for long, or else these connections would be extremely valuable.

After another few hours of drinking and eating, Minos finally said goodbye with Jena and Old Man Joyata, though he didn't head back to the clinic within them, instead re-routing towards the Red Vine Club.

The Nux Burst Pill was critical to him, and he had to leave with the Chess Grandmaster in a few days, meaning he didn't have much time to get this job done.

Of course with his Omniscient Eyes, he had no real worries, strutting into the Red Vine Club like he was a daily visitor.

The female workers couldn't help but look at him with some curiosity, not usually seeing someone of Minos's age walking into a place like this.

But beyond that, his tall stature and sleek appearance also attracted their attention, causing a few to walk up to him.

"How can I help you Sir." A beautiful young lady asked, rubbing her hand up and down Minos's arm.

"I'm looking for an Albon Dethwin." Minos said, pushing her arm away.

"Albon? I'm afraid I can't tell you the information of a VIP customer."

"Is that so?" Minos said, sliding a Bronze Nux Card into her hand.

"On a second thought, I may be able to point you in his direction." She said with a giggle, sliding the card into her dress.

Had it just been a few Nux Stones, she likely wouldn't have talked, but a Bronze Nux Card was worth 100 Nux Stones, which was a lot even for her.

"Right this way."

Nodding, Minos followed behind her, the two walking up a few flights of stairs before arriving at the top floor.

Walking down the hall for a bit, they eventually stopped in front of a door with the words VIP plated in gold on the front of it.

"This is as far as I can take you, and remember, if anyone asks, you came here alone!" The girl threatened, though giving her small and cute stature, it didn't have much effect.

Still, Minos promised not to speak, waiting for the girl to disappear down the stairs before he eventually knocked on the door.

"Who is it?" A voice asked, slightly irritated.

"I'm here with the drinks." Minos responded.

"Drinks? Which one of you ordered drinks? Oh well, who cares. Come in."

Opening the door, Minos headed straight inside, standing still for a moment as he looked everyone up and over.

There were four men in the room, each with a beautiful woman in their arms, though there was one face that caught his attention immediately.

At the very front was a man who looked like a younger version of Mr. Dethwin, and considering he had the most beautiful woman by his side, it went without saying who he was.

"Are you Albon?"

"Who are you, and where are the drinks?" Albon asked, straightening up in his seat.

"I'm Minos, your father sent me."

"My father? For heaven's sake, you must be another one of those 'doctors' sent to fix me. Go tell that old man that there's nothing wrong with me, and leave me the hell alone!" Albon said with anger.

"I'm afraid I can't do that. I already made a promise, and I never fail to fulfill them."

"Well you're going to fail now, so f*** off! You three, help this old man out, and don't hold back, he seems quite large, so I'm sure he can take it."

Albon was their meal ticket, so it went without saying that they did everything he said, so almost immediately, they all pushed aside their woman and headed towards him.

With a quick scan of his Omniscient Eyes, Minos realized they were all at the Inner Heaven Realm, which was quite impressive.

One had to know that back on the Alephora Continent, if one reached the Inner Heaven Realm at their age, they would already be the geniuses among geniuses.

Yet these guys were clearly all unremarkable, and yet they still achieved such a realm so young, showing just how much more powerful this new world was.

Of course even that was still far from enough, so with a calm face, Minos watched as the three walked closer, the nearest one swinging at him.

With eyes like an eagles, Minos's hand immediately sprung up, catching him by his wrist and using his momentum against him, flipping his entire body onto the floor.

With a loud slam, he collided into the hard floor, leaving an indent as he groaned in pain, not having the strength to get back up.

Seeing their partner dispatched of so easily, the other two looked at each other for a moment before seemingly coming to a mutual agreement.

After a moment's pause, they both attacked together, one from the left and the other from the right.

Stepping back, Minos shot both hands out at a tremendous speed, lightly tapping the back of each attacker's fist.

Normally such a tap would naturally do nothing, but Minos loaded a little Nux into each finger, causing a small explosion which propelled each of their fists in the other one's direction.

Before they even realized what had happened, they both took a fist right to the jaw, both collapsing onto the ground, the force knocking them unconscious.

"Well then, can we talk now?" Minos asked, slowly walking towards Albon, whose lazy eyes finally went sharp at this moment.

"It seems I've underestimated you, but those guys are just scums, let me show you real power." Albon said with a smirk, some excitement in his eyes.
