As the rest of the day passed, Song Lei got more and more confused with the mental domain. Students would occasionally pop in and out of reality as if they were ghosts. Any object unrelated to Song Lei would disappear and reappear in different places, such as chalk, tables, or books. The most bizarre occurrence was that all of this would happen when Song Lei wasn't doing anything in particular. If he was listening to the teacher intently or was thinking about something, everything would become much more stable.
Noting all of this down in his notebook, Song Lei kept brainstorming.
'It might be that I'm like an anchor in this world. Things that happen around me that are related to me are more important than the others. This makes them more stable and real compared to those things that are related to me.'
