Song Lei had been living his life in poverty and taking care of his younger sister until that day. After losing his life at the hands of his drug-addict father, Song Lei was transmigrated into the city of horrors. In the city of horrors where an uncountable amount of monsters and ghosts reside; Song Lei has to use his wits to survive and find a way to go back to his sister... "Are those authentic ghost repelling talismans on the wall?" "Yes. Yes, they are." "So? Why is there a ghost standing right next to it? Do you think he is being repelled?" "Nope. Not even a little bit. Oh look, he's coming toward us." "Well, that can't be good..."
"You shall not worry, as the Angel of Justice is here to banish the darkness," Song Lei said with a smug smirk plastered onto his face. Not receiving a reaction from Bai Hao, he felt his face lit up with shame. "You could've at least said something."
After Song Lei finished talking, the awe-struck Bai Hao started laughing.
"Okay, Mr. Angel of Justice," Bai Hao said while barely stopping himself from chuckling. "What have you got in store for me?"
"I don't know. We'll have to see after finding ourselves some outsiders," Song Lei said as he opened the door. "Let's leave. While we search, you tell me more about the situation."
"Sure," Bai Hao followed along as they started walking down the corridor. "I had some stuff to do with a classmate today so I had to go to class early. I woke up and was about to leave when I heard a weird noise."
"When was this exactly?" Song Lei asked.
