Darian, already breathing heavily, cursed under his breath. "So what's the plan, Lin? I'm all ears!"
Wei Lin spun her sword in a defensive arc, blocking another strike as she spoke through gritted teeth. "We weaken it, force it to reveal its core. That's the only way to destroy it!"
Selene's eyes gleamed with sudden realization. "The core… It's hiding its true form inside that shadow. If we disrupt its energy flow, we can force it out."
Darian chuckled, though there was no humor in it. "Great. Just another impossible fight, then."
