To break the tense meeting, they prepared some special Avesian Wine that is brewed from the common type of sea snake excretions. This is a delicacy of the Raven Port. It tastes quite bitter but has a very sweet and blended mix of flavors as an aftertaste.

Meanwhile, while they were enjoying the drink, Hiryan went to talk with Leonor in private through thought communication.

(Those Dark Patches might be the Dark Shadow Summons, traveling in the ground. Valhadr and his group might've used them to swallow and kill the mutated monster without being seen.)

(That seemed to be the case.) Leonor also agreed as he asked Hiryan. (What do you suggest we do? Should we help fund the guild to open another guild branch here as well? Our western cities are taking too many hits...)

(We can discuss that further with them and see what other solution they might want to propose so we can find a common ground.)
