Goodbye Country of Wishes

Seth went to the group's inn. He is going to leave the city today so he decided to at least give a proper farewell.

Notice: The four people that the user is looking for are not within the vicinity.

(So they head out earlier, huh? Well, I did stop over at the library so I guess I might've missed them when they got out of the inn.)

"I'll just look for them in the plaza or the marketplace. I also want to visit a sorcery shop before I leave the city anyway."

( I can sell the Fire Crystal of the Infernal- High-grade Fire Stone if ever I see something that will catch my eye.)

Seth went towards the nearest sorcery shop.

Notice: The group is nearby a shop close to this one.

(I'll go to them after I visit this one.)

Seth went inside the sorcery shop.

"Hello. What could've interested you to visit our shop?"

(I'm already good with skills... Do they have some items I supposed?)

As the store owner said that, Rim jumped out of Seth's bag.

"Hey..."

Rim, who was in his small slime form, jumped close to an item that was displayed on the counter of the store.

"My..my... It seems your pet slime is interested in something. It's rare to see someone have a pet slime. In fact, it's my first time seeing one as a pet."

Seth looked at Rim and saw that it was smiling...

"Ehhh..."

Rim jumped a bit making a flopping sound as if feeling quite a bit happy.

*Glop...Glop...*

Notice: The item beside Rim is a "Persona". Just like the dragon persona that Rim has, it can also be equipped to Rim as an item for the mimic skill to transform into monsters/animals that Rim/ the user has defeated.

"Your pet must really want this Persona artifact."

"Uhm... how much does that one cost?"

"Let's see here. It's a scourge wolf persona. Persona drops don't happen often so it's quite rare no matter what kind of monster you kill."

(So no matter how strong the monster the drops for it are all rare. It sure was lucky to get that dragon persona from the HoarFrost Dragon Lord. Or maybe it only drops from Monster who has the title of Lord? Since I've been farming quite a lot of monsters in ruins, there should've been persona drops at least once. I guess that is the reason.)

"Well how about it. I'll charge 750 gold coins for that persona."

(That's quite expensive. It cost almost the same as greater skill scrolls. Well if it means Rim can change into other monsters then it's fine. Wait...)

"Do you also have other persona items?"

"Let me see here..."

The store owner checked his cabinets and brought out all the available kinds of persona that he has.

"Okay here. I have some for Orcs from the forest, and Flying Fish from the archipelagos near the continent. Oh and here, I have one for a Dragon. Hmm... This Dragon persona, I nearly forgot how I got it but I believe a traveler sold me this 25 years ago. It had been on this shelf for quite some time. Well, it is expensive so I can't blame that nobody wants to buy it."

(A dragon persona? Just in case, I want to know how much it sells for. Since I don't want to kill more dragons, It's best if I just buy this now.)

"How much do you charge for the dragon persona? Just a curiosity."

"Hmmm... it's from a dragon. If I remember correctly, I bought it for around 10,000 gold coins from that traveler. I had the guild examine it for me so around a total of 11,500 gold coins? I'll sell it to you for 12,000 gold coins. You know I can't go lower than that."

(This seller sure is open to his customers. Still, that is quite expensive, where would I even use it?)

Notice: The user can equip the item and have a dragon base form. Stats will be proportional based on the dragon race. The form will last for a day and deplete the item.

(Why doesn't Rim exhaust the persona if It will only last a day when I use it.)

Notice: Personas are necessary items for the mimic skill of Rim. It performs differently when equipped with Rim.

(So it's like a different exclusive item for Rim, huh?)

Notice: The user can permanently ascend into a dragonkin. A dragon persona is one of the main requirements for ascending into a dragonkin. Only humans and humanoids can ascend into a dragonkin.

(But I'm already a godkin... Can I even do that?)

Notice: The user can also merge the two Dragon Personas (including the one that Rim has) and make a Dragon Lord Persona. This will give Rim added Dragon Base skills such as the Dragon Soul and Dragon Aura as well.

(I see. But I only have around 6,000 gold coins from selling that Scorpion King's Crystal Orb. It cost around 1 gold coin for a whole day of living in a city. This stuff sure is expensive. Time to sell the High-Grade Fire Magic Stone I have. I also just realized that normal dragon crystal orbs don't sell much unless it's from a Dragonlord crystal orb. It sucks that I didn't encounter a Sand Dragon Lord when I was killing all those sand dragons in the desert.)

Notice: According to a book from the Academic Library, Sand Dragons are one of the weaker rogue species of Dragons. Head north of the Ruins of Blaze and there exist Fire Dragons under the wing of the Ancient Dragon Lord of Blaze.

(Good thing I didn't walk past the pyramid and just head directly here after grinding the Ruin.)

"How about I give you 6,000 gold coins and this high-grade Magic Stone? This magic stone is the core of an Infernal Beast, a Fire demon of the Highest degree!"

Seth brought out the magic stone and it glimmered in crimson red. The aura emitted instantly caught the eyes of the store owner.

"This stone, are you sure it is from an Innate Fire beast?"

"Uhh.. sure it is. I bought it some time ago from a traveler as well."

(Just buy it already. I know it's an expensive stone just from the look on his face.)

"So, can I have the Dragon persona and the scourge wolf persona? Guessing from your reaction, I do think that this alone might be more than enough?"

"Sure! Sure! You can have it. 1,000 gold Coins and this firestone is more than enough."

(So its rough amount is estimated around twice the amount of the Scorpion King's Crystal Orb. Well, a monster Lord's Crystal Orbs are really expensive no matter what the race.)

After the transaction, Seth then left the store leaving the store owner with a happy face.

"Pleasure doing business with you! Come back whenever!"

"Sure."

Seth then walked into a secluded alleyway in order to give the persona to Rim. Rim then went back into his small slime form as he spits out the other Dragon Persona.

Notice: Merge the two Dragon Personas?

(Merge.)

Notice: Merging of the two dragon personas is successful. Acquired Dragon Lord Persona.

Notice: Rim can equip both the Personas.

Seth then gave the two personas to Rim as it swallowed it. Rim began glowing into a reddish color before slowly fading back into his original blueish color.

"So how do you feel?"

Rim went into his shoulder and rubbed his slime body in Seth's face.

"I guess that means good."

Rim then turned into a hardened ball again and rode back into Seth's Sling bag.

Notice: The group is leaving the shop.

(Time to say farewell to them.)

Seth walked back into the busy street and greeted the group.

"What are you guys doing? Shopping for some stuff?"

"Oh, Seth! We were just about to look for you."

"Yeah, we are just gathering some items to travel into the city next to the pier."

"Are you about to leave?"

"Sadly, yeah. I still need to visit a village that is close by. I want to explore every nook and cranny of the Country."

(It can't hurt to lie about this but I need a good excuse related to traveling the world when I talk to them.)

"I see. Well, make sure you visit us, okay!"

"Yeah, Gester had been crying yesterday saying that he will miss you a lot."

"Hey! Don't snitch on me."

"We've only known each other for quite some time and don't meet on a regular basis but it felt as if you are a part of the group already, Seth."

(It's that main character friend syndrome that the Main character needs to have friends in the game no matter what! I just know it is.)

Notice: The user is reminiscing something.

Alice then walked up to Seth.

"Don't forget your promise, Okay."

"Don't worry, I won't."

Seth hugged them all and in a quick fashion, he left with that brief goodbye. He walked and left the Capital City of Hatisa. And as he got near the borders, Rim went out of his bag.

"Rim, can you transform into a Scourge Wolf?"

Rim then transformed into a scourge wolf.

"Oh, you look so cool! Okay, I'll ride you as we hunt monsters in these Sub-ruins and Mp-rich spots."

(Goodbye, Hatisa. Time to head towards the Ruin of Luminosity.)

"Since I don't want to spam Greater teleportation and potentially miss some monsters, It's best I ride Rim as I hunt the monster I pass."

Sorry for the late update. Busy with school and constant storms keep hitting our place ahhhhh...
