Fear gripped the chosen by the throat, and the suppressing feeling of death pressed on his shoulders. Daniel was dismayed as he looked at Anak, and his body trembled from fright.
The figure before him looked less like a mortal and more like a god. Its body dripped with magma in each step, and the flames burned strongly around it.
Daniel had never seen a thing of that sort, and that was his first. He shook from the mere sight of Anak, with an unsteady breath in each gasp.
It looked like a demon, yet it was none. Like burning Sulphur, its body stood in strength, and a deranged thought of escape was all the child could think of.
Anak strolled towards Daniel and stopped abruptly. With a sigh of desperation, he looked at his fiery palms and gripped them tightly.
