Entrance exam (10), The Weeping Angel

"Are you really going to sit back and watch? She may have temporarily lost her sense of hearing but she still has her sixth sense. That thing is nearly broken. Why would you even give a supporting side character such an ability?" Ryuk asked. "... And where did you get that popcorn?"

"Wally stored it inwide him(Wally stored it inside him)," I answered munching on the popcorn in my hand, hovering over Rose and Sylvia, watching their battle. "You can't expect me to miss out on some popcorn in a show like this. I will help her out if she needs me to."

Sylvia immediately launched herself at Rose after I had stunned her, delivering an uppercut under her lower jaw, making her fly before flying above her and kicking her back to slam her down on the ground.

Boom

However, even after all that beating, Rose wiped the blood from her ears and mouth before standing up to face Sylvia.

"I will go get some popcorn. Hand-to-hand combat is the best. You should have included some more scenes like this." Ryuk went off somewhere.

As the both of them clashed with each other Rose began to lose because her sword wasn't durable enough to withstand Sylvia's punches. She could feel their difference in techniques as well. Rose had been taught by her brother, Roger who was learning the martial arts for the first time as well but Sylvia trained with me and John under the guidance of Alfred, an expert who had lived through countless years. She was forced to avoid the sun to limit her strength, which allowed her to control her strength, she had already mastered how to control her strength better than me... I guess that's what you call talented.

Rose didn't know what to do... Even with her sixth sense, she couldn't detect Sylvia's position. Sylvia was using the trees around them to hide her presence. Every time Rose sliced a tree, Sylvia would change her location.

'Should I just clear out this area? I can't even deal with one of them like this... Not to mention that a person is hovering over us currently.' Rose stood in a weird stance before slicing everything surrounding her.

"She just signed her name in her death note," Ryuk commented, as Sylvia punched her in her face from behind just when Rose was about to turn, knocking her miles away while destroying everything in her path. "Gotta say... That kid has a lot of tenacity."

"That's an aura user for you. You can't judge them by normal means." I exclaimed. "The show has just begun."

It didn't take Rose more than two minutes to recover from that damage before she sent a wave of aura that cut everything in its path while moving at great speed towards Sylvia.

She didn't even try to block it and jumped over the attack, what she didn't expect was that Rose would jump in the air in the same way as Sylvia trying to slice her in the air. However, at the last second Sylvia blocked the hit by crossing her arms.

Boom

Both of them were knocked away from the impact, Sylvia's suit had already recovered from the damage but the same couldn't be said for Rose's sword which got shattered in the impact. Rose didn't get up this time she was knocked out for good.

"Can you walk?" I asked, walking towards Sylvia, who was lying back on a tree.

"Hah... Do you... Think... I can?" Sylvia asked, trying to catch a break. "Should we just... leave her there?"

"She will recover soon enough, we can't kill her yet..." I said. 'After all... She is an important chess piece...'

All the points that Rose had collected were transferred to Sylvia after she was defeated. I guess I don't need to share half of my points anymore.

Away from all this chaos

Inside a large bush, two figures were hiding like monkeys.

"How long do we need to hide like this? I feel like a monkey." John wispered.

"Shhh! Those orcs will hear you! Lower your voice... They will be back in a moment..." Tom put a hand on John's mouth, signing him to quiet down. 'Why did I team up with this idiot? Sigh... First, Dad cancelled my mission and then he is ordering me to join Paragon... What the hell is happening outside the academy? Why did his voice sound so shaken? What could move a man like him? Did he find something related to the otherworlder? Sigh... Ray told me to keep this as a secret because the timeline will collapse if too many people know about this...'

Tom was so concerned about the information that he failed to notice the orcs that had snooped around them.

The orcs were about to smash their clubs on both of their heads but before they do any damage, they found themselves in the air looking at their decapitated bodies on the ground, falling on their backs.

"How can you transform so quickly?" Tom asked, standing on the shoulder of John in his werewolf form.

John's fur was white, he towered over eight feet in height, and his nano suit had also transformed along with his body structure. His jaws looked more like a prehistoric dinosaur than a normal werewolf.

Growl~

"Can you not talk, yet in this state?" Tom asked, John shook his head. "Alright, then let's destroy the orc hideout before you run out of stamina."
