19. Main Characters gets screentime.

Naruto pointed toward Akira and says,"Who are you guys?"

"Well, we are just some rain shinobi searching for Orochimaru. He stole something we are here to retrieve it" Akira answered, fully knowing Orochimaru is long gone by now due to Jiraya.

"Sensei, she is out of my range now." Suiren informs him.

"Well, we don't need her. We already have our guide." Akira looked at Sasame kunoichi from the sound village.

Sasame saw his gaze and contracted her body. She takes a kunai from her pouch and goes straight for her own throat, surprising everyone.

Swish! 

Jiaraya caught her hand, stopping her. With a twist of his hand, the kunai fell off of her hand.

"Fool!" Jiraya says seriously.

"Pervy sage. Just wait a minute." Naruto interjects, protecting Sasame.

"I am prepared" Sasame sat in seiza, waiting for her punishment.

"But you only wanted to meet your cousin..." Sakura said.

"Even if it was for a good cause, she can't go free without paying for her actions. That is the code of shinobi." Jiraya said.

"Then punish me too. I promised that I would take her to her cousin. I am going to fulfill it because that is my ninja way." Naruto sat on the ground.

Sakura sat behind him and says, "Jiraya-sama. I am at fault too. Please punish me too."

Jiraya released his hold, "Now now, Don't treat me like a bad guy. Sasame, your punishment is that you will take us to the hideout, and after that, you will go back to your clan."

"Pervy Sage. You are so cool" Naruto smiled and said.

"Jiraya-sama..." Sakura had stars in her eyes.

"I had a talk with the remaining Fuma clan members about the situation, and they gave me quite a special service and told me to take care of Sasame-chan" Jiraya said with a perverted grin, indicating the type of service he got.

"Pervy sage!!" X2 

Naruto was angry, while Sakura was disappointed.

"Is he really a Sanin?" Fuyo asked sarcastically.

"Looks can be deceiving; his chakra doesn't lie." Suiren told her.

"I think it should be okay for our new ally." Jiraya said looking at Akira's group.

"It's okay with us, we are here just for Orochimaru." Akira replied.

Naruto: "Then Let's go!"

While running to the base, Akira looked at the Jiraya group and asked, "You never told us what you are here for, it can't be for hunting a rogue nin?"

"Our friend got a seal placed on him by Orochimaru, and we want to cure him. We were hoping to find some information about the seal in this base." Sakura explained.

'Looks like Sasuke is still in the village most probably sound four failed to get him out. The future is changed by a lot this is why I don't like transmigrators.' Akira thought.

Reaching the base, they hide a little far from the entrance.

"Suiren anything?" Akira asked Suiren who was trying to sense chakra in the compound.

"Not a single chakra signature" she replied.

"As expected" Akira nods he continues,"Got any idea, Old man"

"Haha, Let me show you some tricks young one." Jiraya bits his thumb, placing some blood on his hand and places them on the ground.

"Summoning Jutsu"

With a puff of smoke, a small orange-colored frog appears. 

"Yo! Jiraya how are you doing?" Gamakichi ask.

"Good. Gamakichi can you check that path for traps?" Pointing at the hidden entrance.

"Always these boring works" Gamakichi complains, but still follows order.

After entering the gate, he checks around after making sure it was safe he signals the team. Jiraya told Sasame to wait outside while all the others entered the hideout. After the entrance the path seperated into 3 paths.

"Well we are taking the left path" Akira selected, feeling it was the least dangerous path.

"Then I will take the right while Naruto, Sakura and Gamakichi you take the left" Jiraya just guessed.

"Sensei, why did we take this path?" Ajisai asked.

"Well sometimes when you can't think of the solution you just take a leap of faith" Akira tells them.

"That's unreilable." Fuyo replies.

Akira: "Yeah yeah you can tell me about it." 

Tread! Tread!

Hearing the footsteps the four readied themselves for combat.

"Looks like we have guests" the man spoke.

"No guest. Only intruders." a second face formed on his face.

"Eliminate intruders." a third face appered on his face.

"Well talk about talking to yourself" Akira smiled and continued,"See what I did there... talked to myself." Which only got a negative headshake from his students.

"One of these days...One of these days.." Akira takes out a kunai to fight.

The man's hand stretched way beyond normal and swung around, throwing Akira straight through the wall into another room.

'Oof, that was way more powerful than I expected' Akira lifted himself from the rubble. Looking around, he could see injured Sakura. On the other side, an injured Kabuto Yakushi was sitting in front of Naruto, with Sasame holding a kunai.From the hole in the wall Team Ajisai jumped out and landed beside Akira.

"Well, it looks like I am not the only one having a very bad day." Akira stood up, dusting himself off.

A few minutes ago,

Sakura POV

After separating from Jiraya they were joined by Sasame who went after them ignoring the orders. They reached an open room with pillars. Where they met a man they recognized.

"Sakura-chan and Naruto-kun what are you here for?" Kabuto Yakushi says.

"We just want to know a way to heal Sasuke-kun" Sakura says.

"If you wanted to save him you should have let him go. You just wanted to be by your side against his wishes and thus you have already decided his fate. It isn't too late if you let Sasuke-kun go. Orochimaru will make sure he lives" Kabuto Yakushi replies.

Naruto: "Never! Sasuke is our friend. He already decided to stay back."

"Then I have nothing for you, you are wasting your time here." Kabuto Yakushi smiles.

"We will just beat your ass and get the solution." Naruto goes straight for the fist fight. 

"I wouldn't be so sure" Kabuto replies.

"Shadow clone Jutsu"

Naruto and his four clones went directly for a fist fight. Kabuto defeated the clones easily, but Naruto kept on summoning more clones. 

Bam!

With a punch to his stomach, Kabuto had enough of taijutsu. He jumped at the wall, standing horizontally on the wall. 

Fwish!

Three Kunai's with an explosive tag embedded.

Boom! X3

"Yosh. Got him!" Sakura shouts expecting her attack to connect.

From the smoke, Kabuto jumped out while in the air. After weaving some handsigns he took a deep breath and expels a large amount of flammable gas. 

"What the hell?" Naruto covers his eyes.

Smelling the gas Sasame pulls Sakura and Naruto to hide behind the pillar.With a spark Kabuto ignited the gas. The fire waves around the room but trio survives the wave while hiding behind the pillar. After the fire extinguishes the trio takes a deep breath in the scorched air.

"Got you!" Looking up Sasame spots Kabuto who goes for the kill with his kunai.

"SASAME!"

Sakura pushes Sasame away but she herself got slashed by the kunai. 

"Sakura-chan" Naruto got angry. With a puff of smoke he summoned two clones, forming a Rasengan in his hand. The first cloned helped the rasengan, while the second threw a smoke grenade covering the vision of Kabuto. From the smoke Naruto came running out with a rasengan in his hand. He pushes the rasengan straight into Kabuto chest.

But Kabuto was faster he caught Naruto by the wrist with only his left hand, stopping the charge.

"It ends here, Naruto-kun." Kabuto says this while using his kunai to go for the kill. But Naruto just gave his iconic laugh and in turn, grabbed Kabuto.

From Kabuto's left, another Naruto came with Rasengan, the Rasengan scored a direct hit on Kabuto's waist. Kabuto was blown away while the Naruto holding him burst in smoke, proving it was a shadow clone.

Naruto walked to Kabuto sitting with his back against the wall and says,"Now tell us about Arashi and Sasuke's problem"

[Author's Note: Arashi is Sasame's cousin]

The one hit made Kabuto incapable of continuing the fight. 'But he still had a trick up his sleeve, "Arashi came to Orochimaru-sama for power. He got his wish. But you shouldn't worry about him right now. Your teammates are not looking good."

Sakura was down on her last leg. She was lying on the ground Sasame was trying to wake her up. 

"Bastard! What have you done!" Naruto lifted Kabuto by his collar.

"A little bit of poison on kunai can go a long way" Kabuto says.

"You Bastard!" Naruto lifts his hand for a punch. 

"Naruto stop" a feeble voice from Sakura stops him.

"How impossible! Even Tsunade-hime took more time than that to heal herself" Kabuto was surprised.

"Cough! Cough! That's why Tsunade-sama gave me an antidote for it." Sakura said she was able to stand up.

With visible desperation on his face, he made his last move. With a flick of his fingers a large amount of chakra threads wrapped around Naruto connecting to Kabuto's chest.

"What the hell is this" Naruto tried to break the thread with his hands but was unsuccesful.

"I won't do that if I were you. These threads are strong enough that even Tsunade might not be able to break them. The threads connect my chakra networks to yours, so if you kill me, you will die too" Kabuto says while accepting his death.

"AAhh!" Naruto ignored the warning and kept trying to pull the threads, causing him to feel pain.

"Naruto-kun.Let me.." Sasame takes a new kunai and wraps a paper seal on it's handle causing the kunai to glow with a colorful chakra around it. She cuts the thread.

 Sakura: "How?"

"The chakra threads are jutsu of the Fuma clan and can only be cut by a special seal used by us." Sasame looked at Kabuto sadly.

BOOM!

With a blast, Akira entered the room.

Back to the present:

Akira jumped to team Naruto and said,"Looks like you defeated one enemy, but we got a bigger problem." pointing at the three-faced monster wallking through the hole in the wall.

"Not an enemy" Sasame said, placing her hand on Kabuto's face and pulling apart the facade. Revealing a tired Kagerō .

"We will come back into the light." Kagero said it with a last bit of strength closing her eyes forever.

"NOPE!"

Akira rips the whole cover, even ripping her clothes.

Naruto: "Hey, what are you doing?"

Akira takes out the scroll given to him by Rei. Placing it over Kagerō's heart, he activates it. 

Crackle!

With a burst of electricity and chakra, he was able to restart her heart. He started using healing jutsu to make sure her chakra networks worked properly.

'This shit worked. Rei is really a genius.' Akira said, "Okay, I am going to make sure she lives but I need time, so can you please delay the monster, would you?"

Naruto: "Leave it to me."

Sakura and Sasame nodded. Team Ajisai also prepared for the fight.
