78 "Someone"

Looking in up and seeing Historia with a crown, Vincent couldn't help but be amazed by the turn of events. 

'Historia is the new ruler and… I'm already back at Military Police.'

Vincent was in the line of Military Police on the sides. On his side were Marlo, Boris, and Hitch. They were the ones that he was particularly close to in the Military Police, but not close enough to be friends with them.

Back at the Military Police. 

Vincent back in his old room on Military Police. Boris was staring at Vincent and question.

"Vincent, did you really kill the Pope?" 

Looking at Boris' face, Vincent said, "Yeah, I killed him." 

Boris's mouth couldn't help but twitch, as he then looked up and down towards Vincent and said, "Then, why are you here. Aren't you wanted?"

"Huh? My crimes already got justified," Vincent said that as he shrugged his shoulder and said, "What? You want me to be a wanted man forever?"

Boris was startled and shook his head and said, "No, No, No. I'm just curious…" 

"Ok," Vincent said and continued packing his stuff. After he finished it, he looked at Boris and said, "Don't worry. I got assigned to a new place. See you." Vincent then walks and leaves the room.

Boris calmed down as he looked at Vincent and said, "Crazy. I don't want to leave with a crazy guy."

Vincent quickly got out and hired a carriage to go towards the Mitras Capital. He was assigned as one of the guards of the New Ruler, Historia Reiss.

As he entered the Castle and reported himself. Levi suddenly appeared and said, "Come with me."

Vincent was startled by Levi's appearance and thought, 'Is this guy gonna question me again?'

After the Rod Reiss incident. Erwin and the Survey Corps question him. Vincent told everything he learned from the Pope. He knew that the Survey Corps had their hands on the other Nobles and so told them the "truth". In the end, Erwin let him go, but Levi was still wary of him and "questioned" him from time to time… Like now.

Looking in front of him was Levi. Vincent raised his hands since the questioning part is about him almost beating Levi in a fight. Levi didn't like it and so challenged him.

Vincent then walks out of the room. Vincent could be seen visibly exhausted from the fight. Vincent couldn't help but sigh, "Levi is too strong… He really is built differently. "

Raw Power, quick reaction, etc. Levi beat him all to it. The only advantage he had is his form of fighting and techniques that were almost crushed by Levi. They both didn't back down until they were exhausted. No clear winner, but Vincent reckon he would lose in the long run.

Levi in the room looked towards the closed door and sat down. Then… the door opened as Erwin looked at Levi and said. 

"How's Vincent?" 

"He's good… I think he will do a better job at teaching Eren on fighting than me." Levi said that as he closed his eyes and rested. 

'Hmmm. Levi approved of his skills.' Erwin thought of that as he looked then said, "I will ask Nile to borrow Vincent. Then… I go." Erwin then left the room and walked towards where Nile is at. Every high ranking officer was in the castle, because of the New Rules needing to learn from the old ones.

Looking in front of him was Historia. Vincent couldn't help but smile and said, "You're a Queen now." 

Historia nodded as she looked at Vincent and asked in wonder, "Why are you here, Vincent?" Historia was simply curious and so asked.

"What? You don't want to see me?" Vincent teased Historia and Historia was startled as she said, "No, No, No. I'm just simply curious… I don't mean to hurt you or anything… I wanted to see you…" Historia said the last part in a whisper.

"I'm just joking." Vincent said that as Historia quickly blushed and said, "You!" 

Seeing Historia's blushing and embarrassed face, Vincent decided to not teased her anymore, "I'm here to guard you. I'm assigned as one of your guards. "

Historia was startled and looked at Vincent in delight, "Really?!" 

"Yeah, that's why. You have to deal with me, Queen." Vincent said that as he bowed. 

On the side, Some guards were there listening to their conversations and couldn't help but wonder, what is the relation between that guy and the Queen.

Then… Nile suddenly appeared as the guards quickly saluted. The same with Vincent. 

Nile looked towards Vincent and said, "Vincent. Follow me."

Vincent got out of the Castle, as he received a new mission. 

"Train Eren." Vincent was down to this Idea and so accepted it. 

Before he leaves, Vincent then walks towards the Inn and meets up with Annie.

Vincent looked towards Annie and said, "I'm gonna Train Eren for at least a week or month. I have a task for you."

Vincent looked towards Annie and said, seeing her down face, "Don't worry. The end is near."

Annie nodded and said, "What's the task?"

"I need you to… Take a break for long as I'm done training Eren." Vincent didn't actually have a task to give to Annie and so decided to give Annie a vacation to relax herself.

As Annie left the room. Vincent couldn't help but mutter, "One last thing to settle."

One Month has passed.

In front of Vincent, was an exhausted Eren. After practicing and fighting. Vincent concludes that Eren is a punching bag. 

Vincent can't land a solid hit, but Vincent could see that he improved. Not far but not close either from Annie's current ability. 

Vincent looked down towards Eren and said, "The Operation will start tomorrow. Don't push yourself too hard. "

"I will…" Eren said that as he then stood up. Looking at Eren, Vincent then said. 

"Did you find something when you touch Historia?" 

Eren thought for a moment and said, "None." 

"Ohhh, the go and rest." Vincent stood up and began walking towards a room.

Vincent took a bottle of wine and poured something to himself. He then sat down on a chair. 

Looking at the wine on his hand in a daze, Vincent suddenly said, "Let's have a Deal…" 

Vincent said that as he looked up in front of him. This "Someone" is the reason he can't move freely. This "Someone" is the reason Eren can't control Titans or Rod Reiss. This "Someone" is the one he saw from time to time. This someone is the reason Eren can't control his power.

A man with black hair, tied into a bun. Wear a black jacket with a slight marking on his head face. One can only see after someone transformed back from Titan to Human. And that someone is from the future and his name was...
