Erwin sighed and pulled two papers from his disk and placed them in front of him " I wish that was the case... but this report is making me feel that I will regret my decision "

Levi and Hange looked at the papers after hearing Erwin's words. what's in the report? this was their thoughts

Hange and Levi both know who this old friend is, he is one of the survey corps trusted information source, a man who dedicated his life to helping humanity from the shadows, he had no strength to fight the titans or humans but he got the mind to give 'strength' to someone who is willing. and that 'strength' is information. the survey corps enemy is not titans only but humans who have hate for them and wish for them to disband and people like this 'Old friend' prevent people like them from being a lethal danger

" I went to him and ask for a detailed report of Ace Braveheart, especially in the past 2 years, it took time to get the whole thing but he did get it " Erwin pushed the reports to Levi and Hange who took it and started reading.

it was a simple and boring report with everything summarized in one sentence or two, most of it was how Ace spent his time who are his friends, where did he live, what is his favorite food.

Nothing caught the two's eyes until...

Both Levi and Hannes focused on that part which is the last part of the report, shock was visible on their face, if this was written by anyone else both of them wouldn't believe it but this was given to them by that man, this must be true

Hange was the first to speak " If what is said here is correct then... I believe that it deserves a shot. In the end, we have nothing to lose " her voice was serious but a hint of excitement is still on her face, she can't wait to see the man who came back from the dead. as the soldier Hannes said

Levi didn't comment or voice his opinion, what he wanted to say is already said by Hange, his thoughts started drifting and thinking about this man, how trustworthy is he? can they trust him with their lives? is he an ally or an enemy?

" I see. then we will leave tomorrow " Erwin stood up from his place and was followed with Levi and Hange, they are going to sleep and prepare themselves for tomorrow's meeting

it will be either a huge turnover to the destiny of the survey corps or just a massive disappointment to the three of them
