Annie's POV

I got out of my titan form and saw Armin with all of the kids.

"Mom!" yelled Ashley

I was so glad to see them, I hugged both Ashley and Brooks as the others were also taking care of their kids.

"Mom where's dad?" asked Ashley

I was taken aback from her sudden question, I didn't know how to respond and I didn't know how things would turn out if I told her the truth.

"Mom?" questioned Brooks

"He's busy, don't worry." said Hannes

I looked over to Hannes and he just gave me the lie face on so I comforted my kids and looked over to Milo who just learned about Porco, his father's death. He began crying while hugging Pieck and Pieck had a depressed look in her eyes. Thomas as well, he was just sobbing when Ymir was sitting there next to him telling him what happened.

"Now what?" asked Connie

"We wait." replied Armin

"For who?" asked Jean

That's when I heard an osprey behind me, I turned around and I saw an osprey approaching us. At first I thought it was Sentinel but I saw that it wasn't, it landed near us and out came commander Hange.

"Commander Hange!" gasped Connie

Hange began dragging a stretcher and my eyes widened to see someone on it. And that person was Captain Levi, he was badly injured, his face was wrapped in bandages.

"Help me with Captain Levi." said Hange

The boys began to help out Hange carry Levi's stretcher, they brought it under the tree and Armin began to check up on him.

"He's alive, he'll be able to move around with a good amount of rest." said Armin

"I know, he's in stable condition." said Hange

Hange sighed and looked at everyone.

"Captain Hannes? What are you doing here?" asked Hange

"We were reinforcements." replied Hannes

"You're also here Commander Magath?" asked Hange

"We were also reinforcements." replied Magath

Hange looked behind him to see other Scouts who had run most of the way here, I counted about 10 Scouts. That's when Hange laid her eyes on Javelin and her eyes widened.

"2nd Lieutenant Javelin? What are you doing here?" asked Hange

"I was sent to spy on Eren but I had to turn myself in." replied Javelin

Hange nodded in acknowledgment.

"You've all just been through hell, but fill me in." said Hange

Everyone sighed and we all took a seat, Jean and Connie decided to get some firewood since it's getting dark.

"Commander have you got word from Colonel Ghost?" asked Jean

"Yea, they're also in deep shit. The IMT decided to bomb the southern tip of Africa with titan gas so that no reinforcements were available from nearby allies." replied Hange

"So how much longer till Sentinel arrives?" I asked

"I don't know." replied Hange, "Now fill me in."

Reiner and Ymir fell asleep because they overused his titan powers and Falco was still unconscious so the only ones awake were some of the kids, the Scouts who were on patrol, me, Mikasa, Sasha, Pieck, Magath, Armin, Gabi, Udo, Zofia and Colt. Hannes and his squad were on patrol so they weren't near us and Javelin and the Bounty Hunters were trying to contact Kit.

"How much do you know ma'am?" asked Armin

"I just know up to the part where Zeke had his spinal cord fluid inside the Swine." replied Hange

I sighed realizing that we had to inform her about Bertholdt.

"We were taken prisoner and we stayed there for who knows how long and while we were in there." said Sasha, "And that's when Eren started doing some crazy things."

The atmosphere became heavy as well all looked at each other to see who was going to tell her.

"And?" asked Hange

"Bertholdt, he was fed to Armin." said Mikasa

Hange's eyes widened and she sharply inhaled.

"Eren, Eren did this?" questioned Hange

"Yes..." whispered Mikasa

Hange stayed silent and looked at Ymir who was sleeping.

"What else?" asked Hange

"Eren used Ellie as a hostage to force Riku to turn herself in." said Sasha, "After that we were under attack by the IMT."

"The IMT really played right into Eren's play." said Hange

"That's when you contacted me so it was a three force battle. We tried our best to prevent Eren from succeeded, we thought we succeeded when Gabi shot Eren, decapitating him but once his head fell on Zeke's hand this whole shit just went upside down." said Udo

Hange sighed and I rubbed my eyes.

"We need to stop Eren." said Hange

"How ma'am?" asked Connie as he and Jean came back with some firewood.

"I have a plan." said Armin

Armin sighed and rubbed his forehead as Connie and Jean started a fire.

"We're going to have to move now if we're going to make it though." said Armin

"Huh?" questioned Jean

"We're going to have to take a plane to China first though." said Armin

"Why China?" asked Colt

"China is the country who had the most cases with the IMT." said Armin, "He's trying to destroy the main enemy, Eren will definitely be there."

"So what? How are we going to get to China? That osprey probably has half a fuel left." said Jean

"Let's get to Fort Maria, it's the closest airfield to the coast right now." said Armin

"The Jaegerists are probably guarding it right now." I said

"I know it's going to be a hard fight but we need to take it." said Armin

"Armin, you're probably just scared. Let's calm down and-"

"How can I calm down?! Humanity is on the verge of extinction just like 10 years ago! How can I calm down?! My plan is full of shit yet it's the best option I could think of!" yelled Armin cutting off Mikasa, "My best friend is now the enemy of the entire world, how can you expect me to let that sink in so easily?!"

Mikasa was taken aback and her eyes widened.

"If Commander Erwin was here then he would have known what to do, he would have stopped this before it even started." said Armin, "Sorry, for the first time I don't know what to do."

Everyone seemed anxious and shocked to see Armin frustrated.

"Time isn't on our side, it never will be." said Armin

Everyone sighed but everyone seemed to agree to do it.

"If this is the best option you could think of then I'm willing to take it." said Mikasa

"As long as we stop Eren then that's it right?" asked Connie, "Simple as that, we just get his nape."

"Are we going to kill him?" I asked

Everyone turned and looked at me.

"Do any of you even want to kill him?" I asked

"I don't know." replied Armin

Everyone stayed silent.

"We'll see about that later." said Hange, "Get ready to leave right now."

"Wait quick questions, what are we going to do with the kids?" asked Sasha

"This is a one way trip." said Armin, "Once we take over a plane we take it after Eren. Those who can fight will get dropped off to fight Eren, the rest will escape and get as far away as they can."

"Then let's go and get this done." said Hange

Once we were done talking I left the group and pulled out a phone I grabbed from the floor. I unlocked it and began typing a number in and put it next to my ear.

"Hello?" came the voice I wanted to hear from

"Hey dad." I whispered

"Annie? What's going on? Are you okay?" I asked

I felt my heart fill with ease knowing that he's alive.

"I'm fine, are you okay?" I asked

"Yes I'm fine, I'm more worried about you." replied my dad

"I know you are." I replied

I took a deep breath before telling him the reason why I called him.

"Dad, I just wanted to let you know that, I love you. I always have." I said

My dad stayed silent for a few seconds so I continued.

"I don't know if I'll be able to say that again." I said, "I have to go dad, bye."

1 hour later

Annie's POV

"Damn Floch is here." sighed Jean

I got my ODM gear ready and put my swords and the others were also getting ready. The only ones who didn't have ODM gear were Javelin, the Bounty Hunters, Magath, Udo, Zofia, Gabi, Falco, Colt and the ten scouts.

The ones who were going to escape with the kids were Hannes, his squad, the ten scouts, the Bounty Hunters, Gabi, Udo, Zofia, Colt and Falco and Magath. Hannes wanted to stay and fight with us but we wanted him to stay with the kids and we needed someone who can take charge.

"So this is how we're going to do it." said Javelin, "We're going to sneak past the main control room, Sasha and Gabi. I want you two to kill everyone in the tower on my mark."

Sasha cocked her sniper rifle.

"None of the planes are ready so it's going to take some time." said Javelin, "Shifters, I'm going to need you to draw most of their attention."

Reiner got ready with Ymir.

"Once we get the plane ready, everyone else gets on Pieck and she's going to get in through the back." said Javelin, "Any questions?"

No one replied so Javelin and the Bounty Hunters became invisible and left. Me, Reiner and Ymir followed right after, putting invisibility cloaks on and walking towards the open field.

We got to our positions and waited until I saw Javelin signal us and the others with a flashing light. I saw Sasha and Gabi fire at the air control tower but it was too far for me to see if they hit their targets.

"Things are going to get loud when they realize we're here." whispered Ymir

Jean's POV

We began to creep through the field towards Javelin with Armin, Connie, Mikasa and Colt. I quickly entered the Boeing and quickly started to push off the useless things, trying to minimize the weight inside Boeing.

As I was pushing the boxes off Connie tripped and fell but then two Scouts appeared around the corner and my eyes widened.

"Daz, Samuel?" I gasped

Daz and Samuel, two of our comrades who were in training camp with us, stood there.

"Connie? Jean?" questioned Samuel

Daz drew his pistol and aimed it at us and Samuel did the same.

"Don't move or we'll shoot!" yelled Samuel

"Hey hey Samuel calm down." I said, "You're doing the wrong thing."

"Jean, Connie, I heard that you were a traitor. I didn't want to believe it." said Samuel, "Why did it have to turn out this way."

I could see both Daz and Samuel's arms shaking.

"Connie, I thought we were going to spread the land and eat meat together. Wasn't that a promise we made?" asked Samuel

"It is and it still is, look calm down we're not traitors." said Connie

"We have bombs on all of these planes." said Samuel, "Step away from it."

Mikasa slowly moved her hand to the handle of her sword.

"Don't move or I'll shoot!" yelled Samuel, "Daz call for backup!"

"Wait Daz dont-"

Armin moved and immediately Samuel aimed his gun and shot Armin in the jaw.

"Armin!" I gasped

"Don't move!" yelled Samuel

That got the attention of everyone as I saw Jaegerists in the distance approaching us.

"Daz blow it up now!" yelled Samuel

Daz seemed hesitant but he reached for the detonator, that's when the three titan shifters shifted, creating an explosion and drawing Samuel's attention.

"What the-"

Connie takes the advantage and tackles Samuel to the ground. I tried to take Daz on but he pointed his gun at me forcing me to stay.

"Stopppp!" yelled Samuel as Connie tried to pry Samuel's gun out of his hands, "Daz blow it up!"

But then Armin tackled Daz to the ground.

"Stop it!" yelled Daz

"Traitor! Weren't we on the same side?!" yelled Samuel

"We are, it's just..."

Connie looked at Armin and Daz had his pistol on Armin's forehead. Connie suddenly screamed in fear and pulled the gun out of Samuel's hand and shot Daz in the head.

"NOO!" yelled Samuel

But Connie screamed again and shot Daz twice in his face. I was shocked by what Connie has just done, killing two comrades. Connie slowly turned his head and looked at me, tears falling out of his eyes.

"What have I done?" whispered Connie
