Sasha walked through the countryside, her steed moving with a steady pace beneath her. She'd been traveling for weeks, riding across miles of grass, meadows, and hills. She had spent a lot of time out in the wilderness, making her way through lush forests and rolling plains, but something about this place felt off.
The countryside was turning into a marsh, and it was getting harder for her to breathe. The sun beat down, baking the grass into a crackling crisp, and the wind howled in her ears, threatening to carry her away with every gust that whipped by. Her horse plodded on, every step mired by the heat and the thick mud forming beneath its hooves.
