Court Games - Part 10 - Game of Ambition

The sixth month, Sylphar, was coming to an end, and the seventh month, Eltharion, was beginning to paint the kingdom with the colors of autumn. The change of season was visible in every corner, from the trees' leaves turning golden and red to the fresh, invigorating air replacing the summer's heat. Mornings grew colder, and the sky, once clear and warm, was now becoming more cloudy and gray, promising scattered rains.

People from all regions of the kingdom, from the small villages in the south to the more distant cities in the north, were beginning to journey toward the capital. Peasants from the High Plains, merchants from Sindarin and Grovandir, and artisans from the Fairy Lake and the remote Übaï were joining the trek, bringing with them harvest products and promises of vibrant celebrations. The roads, once empty and silent, were now full of life and color, with temporary stalls set up along the way to sell local delicacies and offer shelter to travelers.
