78 Supreme Ocean Palace

"Long'er you said it will take over a year, maybe even two to reach Supreme Ocean Palace!" Qu Fengyi exclaimed, almost pouting at her grandson.

"Space Profound Energy is just on another level, Grandma. I can't simply slow something which glides. My islands are not built like carriages or chariots to have different speeds." The Young Master said with a simple shrug.

The woman sighed, as she looked at the floating island in front of her. This was the Supreme Ocean Palace.

The Palace is situated above a small chain of tropical islands. 

When Xiao Long saw this he almost licked his lips! Tropical islands! That means a holiday destination! That's it! He needs a holiday island!

He quickly flew over and landed on the beach. He crouched down and touched the sand. It was warm, it almost looked like it was pure white. Hell, this is top-quality stuff! 

The water was light blue, he could easily see the sea bed. 

'This is just fantastic.'

"Long'er, what is it?"

"The islands. They will be just perfect for a summer relaxation destination." He said simply.

"I do believe my wives will love this place, especially with the kids coming in a few months." The later part he said with a sigh.

"OH?" 

There was a glint in her eyes when she heard that.

"I see! Finally! Little ones are coming!" With a burst of insane speed the Sovereign of the Seas was gone she flew right back into the sect, most likely to see his two wives.

'Well, they should awaken their Martial Spirit soon. I do want to see what kind of thing will Qingyue awaken. She has two inborn powers plus Ice Phoenix arts.'

After thinking about that he proceeded to explore the chain islands on foot. He wants to explore and imagine what he can build here!

He quickly saw some quality wood, which can be used to build those summer-type houses with open terraces, 

Apart from that, he saw a freshwater stream, and then he saw some banana trees!

'Holy…'

From all the fruits he has seen so far, in the Capital of Blue Wind and the Sword Villa, there are apples, peaches, grapes, oranges and some other this-world-based fruits.

But no one bothered to find bananas…

Well, whatever.

He picked up some and proceeded with his exploration. A few minutes later he found some coconuts!

With a flick of his finger, one of them dropped into his hand, and then he used a small wisp of Profound energy to cut open a hole and then created a straw from barrier walls.

"Damn, this hits differently after not tasting this for years!"

After tasting the fresh coconut he got a few more, and with such a drink exploration became even more relaxing.

It took him around 20 minutes of leisure walking to check out everything. The island was not big but it had good stuff on it.

A couple of fruit trees and a freshwater stream. He can work with that.

Either Maldive-style houses or he could build something on the island itself.

Choices-choices.

Maybe both?

Once he explored the island he flew to another one.

"So what is the plan, Long'er? Fengyi said that he wants to add the Supreme Ocean Palace to the chain of islands you have. But there is an issue in that." Zi Ji said to his grandson who was drinking something from a fruit of some sort.

"Devil nest thingy?"

"Indeed. The Palace was built to keep it sealed, over many years the seal has been improved, that's how the barrier arts you abuse at this moment came to be." 

The merchant's smile twitched as he realised that the barrier arts are like breathing to Young Master. The original purpose of this art in the first place was to seal away that thing.

"Then we will kill it. I decided to take the island chain as well. The amount of energy the water will generate will be several times more than the current one, and we will be able to use the warp cannon more often."

"The chain islands? You like them, don't you? I fell in love with that place as well the moment I saw it!" 

The old man had an understanding look on his face.

Just because of that Xiao Long opened his storage space and pulled out a coconut and handed it over, after preparing it, of course.

"This?"

"Taste it. That's a straw, it's made to drink from what is inside the fruit."

"...Oh, such a marvellous invention." The old man marvelled at such a simple and useful thing, he can already see more uses for it. He will be making those later and selling them to taverns and event places.

"...Very good. It Tastes like sweet water."

"Indeed! And this is not all." After drinking all the coconut water he opened it up and proceeded to cut it up.

"It's like any fruit. It tastes good. We should explore more of the islands, we might find some more unknown edible stuff." He handed over some of the slices of coconut to his grandfather.

"...Indeed very interesting."

Having a monopoly on certain unique and new stuff is quite profitable.

After tasting the new fruits, Xiao Long proceeded to show what he had in mind.

"Now the general idea of how this will be." He created a model image from barrier walls above his hand and expanded it.

Basically 'flat earth' model. 

There will be five islands on this flat earth, the magic of this is the bubble barrier since there will be waterfalls from all sides the water will fall but all of it will be funnelled into the centre before being shot right back into above.

The infinite cycle, though from just a basic overview he realised that he will need at least three formation cores to make this run.

Not that it's an issue.

"... Fascinating! And you came up with this just from exploring those five islands!"

To the question, the Young Master simply shrugged.

"None of this is new designs, everything is tested out before. The floating formation, the water absorption, and the funnelling, all is needed to test out on bigger sizes and adjust accordingly." As Xiao Long said, he summoned another coconut. He is feeling quite holiday-ish after seeing where he was.

"...Indeed. I will be waiting for the day that place rises from the ocean."

Zi Ji exclaimed with some excitement he wonders how the place will change and what kind of new ideas Xiao Long has for it.

"Indeed, how are the preparations for the floating merchant islands, Grandpa?"

"They are on the way. We already are building 15 of them. All that is left is to power the formations and raise it from the ground."

The Young Master nodded at him, he handed over 30 premade Sky Profound Formation Cores. 30 large village size islands will be perfect for the 'occupation' and control of the continent.

After speaking with his Grandpa Xiao Long went back to his house. That's the thing. It's like going to a den of lions. All of his beauties have transformed into hungry predators who want to do things to him.

Though, he won't cover, in truth he will meet this challenge head-on. He might even tease them, he wants to see how much chaos these females can cause just to get his attention.

The moment he was in the living room his wife Qingyue walked over, and there was a huge smile on her lips.

"Husband! I did it! Watch!"

As she said that a frosty woman manifested behind her. It was dressed in blue and white robes with long black hair, this spirit lifted her hand and a blue lotus flower manifested.

This was her Martial Spirit! It was… frightening and beautiful!

"...Impressive…what can it do?"

His awe made her puff her chest. She was feeling proud that she was the first to awaken her Martial spirit.

"Umm…"

She was uncertain for a while before motioning to follow her outside.

Once there she proceeded to find a target.

From the looks of it, she knows how the power works and what she can do. What he wants to know is how broken it is.

Since she has two inborn powers, one of them even supposed to be an inner world thing, but he still has not much sense of how it works. 

The Martial Soul development should have touched upon that.

So who knows what it can do?

"...can you make a target for me?" She asked him after looking around.

"Sure thing." 

With a hand motion, his ring glowed and he made a target similar to that used by archers in front of them.

"...that will do." 

That moment the beauty summoned her martial spirit, and with a simple motion the blue lotus flower glowed. Lines in reality started to appear around the target, drawing upon themselves.

In a few short seconds, the drawing turned into a lotus flower and then solidified, shrinking rapidly and turning into a hand size flower. 

Inside this flower was the target which soon ceased to exist.

"..."

"This… is impressive. What does this exactly do?" Xiao Long was somewhat baffled by this development; the power is unique. Like nothing he has seen so far.

He needs more info on this. This is why he will have over 30 more examples. Once all of his girls will have this martial spirit thing then he will be able to draw lines about how special it is.

"It seals away everything where the lines are drawn. It's like creating a special world inside of it. Once that is done I can turn whatever is inside into pure Profound energy and then I can absorb it."

Xia Qingyue said with a happy tone. 

What she just said fit perfectly with her physique and the glass heart. Create a separate world inside and turn it into pure energy like her glass heart. 

Quite fascinating.

"... I assume speed depends on your cultivation?"

"Yes. I feel I can do better. This means I need to practise as well?"

After explaining Xiao Long gently hugged his beautiful wife.

"Yes, this is very fascinating, Yue'er. Why don't I show you an interesting place? I am thinking of adding this to the sect."

He gently picked her up, the beauty smiled at him as she snuggled into his hands.

Few moments later he started to fly.

The Young Master wants to show what he has planned for that special floating island.

Xing Rouyu frowned for a bit. It should have been her time, the blonde's mother was alive and it was her time now. The more mature redhead was thinking that they had planned the resurrection of Xing Su right after bringing them back to life Yan Qing'er.

But it was as if Xiao Long forgot about that! The Young Master was busy with three major projects and he doesn't even bother with her.

She can't even see him in his free time! He is flooded by his women. Either his pregnant wives want to be pampered or he is with those fairies.

"Mom, I don't think you will get to him that easily. I have been here for close to two years. Once he is in his projects there is very little we can do." Xing Tong explained as she sat down next to her mother.

One could say that the younger redhead has settled down with her emotional side. Or more like she just accepts whatever comes her way.

"This won't do, Tong'er. We need to get his attention, otherwise, it could even take years for Xisu to reincarnate." 

While she said that for Xisu's sake. She was more interested in having some fun with the Young Master. The Ex-Empress of Star God Realm had a chance to see him without his top. She could see those muscles and wide shoulders.

So to put it lightly, she can't stop and just wait.

"He has been talking about bloodlines for a while. So I think he would be more interested if the woman had stronger powers." 

The Heavenly Slaughter Star God opened the boxes. They were full of pills.

While the redheads were plotting, Xiao Long was touring the Supreme Ocean Palace.

All the Elders and talented individuals proceeded to greet their Young Master and arguably the most famous individual on the continent.

This was the first time he was in a Sacred Ground and he could see the sheer difference in wealth and extravagance compared to the Heavenly Sword Villa and the Blue Wind Imperial Family.

"I can sense that the whole thing is built by a network of Formations and arrays, quite a bold way to do it." 

The Young Master said as he scanned the surroundings. 

"What do you mean by ' Long'er?"

"All the arrays and Formations are linked in a sense. They are powered by a single source of energy. Only the Seal on the Devil's Nest is separate."

"Oh, that we use the very potent Dragon vein under the islands to power Supreme Ocean Palace." Qu Fengyi explained to him.

"That's the issue, Grandpa. If the vein loses its potency this place will crumble to the ground, with the rest of the formations." 

"..."

Only now do they realise how fucked they are! If someone learns of this they could destroy the whole Sacred Ground.

However, the group swiftly took a deep breath.

"I assume you already have a solution?"

"Well, yes, it was obvious. We will be leaving this location. The sect will merge with Palace into one superpower.

I will redesign this island and it will join the archipelago."

This made Qu Fengyi nod at him.

"This was what I was thinking. Though we need to think of a different name since it's a merger."

The woman started to ponder.

"Supreme Cloud Sect?" Xiao Long simply mixes and matches the names from two places. 

"...That would work. Supreme for we are Supreme, Cloud because we are among the heaven, and Sect because it's a group of many families." She said that to herself, the rest just nodded at her. 

No point in arguing with such an overbearing woman.

"Good, now let's get to work, I have a few projects that need to be done. I leave the merger with you, Grandma."

"Very well, I assume you can pass the barrier we placed on the nest?"

As she said that the Young Master scanned the surroundings once again and his senses bombarded the barrier on the island below them.

"Not a difficult one. I will deal with this in a few moments."

"...Very well, but be careful Long'er."

"I know that much."

As he said that he flew down from the Supreme Ocean Palace and right to the island below.

Once he landed he proceeded to walk towards the sealed cave.

Several practitioners were guarding this place around the clock all the time.

"Young Master?"

"I have come to deal with the devil inside of this place." Xiao Long said with both hands behind his back.

"...Of course. Young Master." The guards turned stiff the moment he mentioned The Devil in the cave was mentioned.

The Young Master walked over and placed his hand on the barrier. Moments later barrier walls appeared around as he started to write on them.

A few seconds later a portion of the barrier walls opened up as if it was a door, seeing that it worked Xiao Long walked in, and the door closed up right behind him.

"...Did he just—"

"He did…he turned the barrier into a door…" The standing guards looked baffled for a few moments.

"So this is Devil-type Yin Energy…"

Xiao Long pulled out his Scouter artefact. It's just a fancy energy reader which takes samples of the energy in the air. 

Not only that but it scans the area in front of him.

He could pick two sources of energy in front of him.

One is a flower and another is a five -metre tall creature sitting in a corner.

The Young Master lifted his hand and his ring glowed. Walls of pure purifying energy rushed into the depths of the cave.

Shredding the Yin energy in the air.

What follows next is a pained scream of a man.

"Oh…so it does hurt…"

He said that as he walked into the area.

"...Human Brat! I will kill you for that!!!"

"Uh-huh…"

With another hand motion, more walls appeared and tried to pin the Devil down but he blasted forward and tried to punch the Young Master.

There was a smirk on Xiao Long's face as he punched as well.

What happened after was a scream from the devil as his hand was mutilated. 

"You don't try to punch a blade, that's just stupid, how stupid are you?"

Chains erupted from the ground as he pinned down the devil against the wall. Next were arcs of energy pinning all his limbs.

Right behind the devil, formations manifested sealing him in completely. 

"Capture successful."
