Chu Yueli observed the rapidly expanding city underneath her.

It has been only 4 years but she can barely recognize what she was seeing. Construction work upon construction work. The whole city is expanding and growing. There are several times more people than she saw last time.

The biggest thing she is sensing is the massive Profound Energy array that is bathing the Xiao Clan and spilling out into the city outside its clan gates with an abundance of Profound Energy.

It's something she has never seen before. It was not a Profound Layline or something like that which her Palace is enjoying, but an actual Profound Energy array!

The Profound Energy here is quite thick and it only gets better with time!

She has no doubt this place will be better to cultivate than her Frozen Cloud in few years.

After observing the city she proceeded to look at the Xiao clan which had the biggest construction sites in the whole of the City.

'They are planning to absorb that whole mountain into their territory?' 

This is only something a major sect could accomplish. To her knowledge, Xiao Sect has built its sect grounds where two rivers merge.

It was a city in its own right!

At that moment she felt that someone was crushing her, an extremely powerful profound energy coiled around her. It felt like all of her bones were going to be crushed into dust!

The surge of an insane amount of power descended upon her. 

Then an old man slowly floated down in front of her. His hands were behind his back. 

'T-This is… a M-Monarch!?' 

She never felt anything like this before. A Monarch would never visit such a remote Empire like theirs!

"Junior, why are you spying on the Young Master's clan?" 

Chu Yueli could not even speak as this old man's Profound Energy was crushing her lungs!

"Since you don't want to talk, we will ask the Young Master what to do with you." 

The Fairy could only stare at this with a powerless look. She never was in this kind of situation before!

Moments later the old man dragged her down with Profound Energy effortlessly.

The Frozen Cloud Fairy looked around, and her eyes ended up on a young man, on his lap was a familiar girl she saw all those years ago. 

She is all grown up now.

"Young Master. This Junior was spying on the Clan Grounds. What should we do?" 

"Hmm?"

"Oh, this is Miss Fairy who wanted to recruit me to Frozen Cloud." 

The girl said from his lap. 

"She did? What was your answer, wife?" 

'So it was her wedding…'

"I asked her about cultivation speed, and her answer disappointed me, instead I decided to pursue you." 

"Such trust. you have chosen one guy over the entire Palace resources." 

"Even back then Young Mistress knew you were a special Young Master." The old man said sagely behind Chu Yueli who was forced to listen to the whole conversation.

The girl slightly blushed hearing the praise from a Monarch.

"Regardless, you may release her Fifth Elder. I wish to hear her talk."

"As Young Master commands."

The old man's Profound energy disappeared and the crushing force finally was gone.

The Fairy took a deep breath before she shook from one side to another, her steps were unsteady, never in her life had she been manhandled like this!

"This…This one's name is Chu Yueli, the fifth fairy of Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace." Fairy Chu cupped her fist, as she respectfully introduced herself.

"Well, why were you spying on my clan?" He asked her. 

This was where she frowned, being accused of spying is a little bit much…

"Reporting to Young Master. I was not. I was told by my Palace Mistress to figure out what was going on in this city."

"That's semantics, observing my clan from high above is called spying. If you wanted to figure out what is happening you could have employed the same tactics as Heavenly Sword Villa. They bought irrelevant information…

*Sigh*

My new grandfather sure loves to make money from thin air… first, he spreads rumours then sells irrelevant information for an impressive amount of money." The Young Master said with a sigh.

"Guild Leader still lacks your talent, Young Master. He is incapable of selling simple grass for millions." The Monarch said with an impressed tone.

'Selling grass? What are these people talking about?'

The Fairy furrowed her eyebrows when she heard this.

"Well, what do you have to say for yourself?" 

His question brought her out of her pondering. 

"...This…Yueli is asking for forgiveness! This one had no idea what was happening!" 

"You have been spying on the Supreme Ocean Palace Young Master. Sovereign of the Seas would have your head, Junior. Thankfully she is not here, and your fate depends on what the Young Master decides." 

"Hmm, the Fifth Elder is right. My Grandmother is overbearing, the Fairy has her uses." As he said that he moved his wife from his lap and stood up, walked over to her.

"You practise Ice Profound energy directly, without any sort of medium. Because of that, there are negative effects on your body."

"..."

Chu Yueli was out of words, he figured this out without even checking her!

"...Young Master, are you sure?"

"I am. Just scan her Profound Veins."

The old man without ceremony put his hand on her shoulder and did his scan. The Fairy slowly grimaced as he scanned her Profound Veins thoroughly.

"This is… suicidal…Junior, do you have a death wish?" The old man asked with disbelief.

"Taking in direct elemental Profound energy delivers more power but it has long-term consequences.

Your arts help you cultivate and beat anyone around the same cultivation as you, but long-term exposure will shorten your life, clog your Profound Entrances, freeze your organs, and make you living ice…

Did I get it right?"

The fairy felt like a naked person in front of this young man… he didn't even scan her!

"...Yes." 

"I See… then let's do this… I will take that ice from you."

"...Excuse me?"

"You heard it right… that excess Ice Profound Energy, I want it." 

"...Oh I see… as expected from Young Master!" The Monarch already understood but Chu Yueli was still clueless.

"Don't worry. It won't hurt or anything. I'm just going to remove all that excess energy your body could not process."

Without wasting any more time he put his hand on her. She could feel his smooth Profound Energy entering her. It was gentle, warm, and extremely positive…it was as if he wrapped a warm blanket around her.

Slowly it started to spread through her whole being and started to peel off something from her…he removed something from her that she never thought was weighing her down! 

Before long her whole body twitches from a positive warm feeling.

"Ahhh~"

She couldn't control herself and a sound similar to a moan escaped from her mouth.

This swiftly made her control herself! 

Before she realised it was over!

The Fairy re-focused herself and looked at the Supreme Ocean Palace Young Master who was holding a ball of some sort of ice in crystalline form.

"Ice Profound Energy in purest forms! I doubt such a thing even exists in the Profound Sky Continent naturally!" The old man said with awe as he looked at the crystal.

"You could sell this to Navy Tide Nation for millions!" The Monarch added swiftly.

"I could, but I will keep this to make a pill of some sort in the future." As the Young Master said that he placed the ice crystal in his Storage Ring and looked at embarrassed Chu Yueli who was struggling not to just kill herself and end this misery!

"We are done here Fairy Chu, we are even. Don't do this again."

"My thanks for your kindness, Young Master." With a burst of speed, she was gone.

Chu Yueli rushed back to her Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace.

She was manhandled, like a small child, nearly killed!

Though as she was flying she noticed something!

Which made her stop in her tracks!

"H-He…opened some of the Profound Entrances!!!" The Fairy quickly counted the number!

Her 14 opened Profound Entrances went to 17! 

That's more than her sister who has 15! 

Not only that but she is close to a breakthrough! She would reach [Eight of Sky Profound] soon.

"Incredible!"

~~~~~~Xiao Long~~~~~~

"Quite a catch, we should visit that place and collect all the ice. I could make some Ice resistant pills or something like that." I said with a thoughtful look. Those fairies could be like farms, gathering the ice for me.

"Truly only Young Master could see benefits in such places! North of the Continent there are still some mysterious places that we could explore if we get such pills!"

"Hmm? Fifth elder, are you saying that the Profound Sky Continent is not fully explored?"

"In a way, those places are extremely cold, and Extremely powerful Tyrant beasts roam. Even for a Monarch, they could pose a deadly challenge."

"I see… so you are saying that If we get such resistance pills we could…technically explore the regions which were not done before."

"Indeed. No one knows what such places hold."

It makes sense…even Blue Wind Empire has two areas where no one walks… pretty sure the rest of the continent would have some similar things. Though not Divine Beasts legacies…

A high concentration of specific elemental Profound Energy could lead to impressive vegetation or materials.

"Hmm, we shall see in the future. I still have a pile of things to do…"

"Of course, Young Master."

After talking with the Fifth Elder, I returned to my wife, and we resumed our Dinner outdoors.

My peace didn't last long. 

"Young Master, ten [Sky Profound], and two early [Emperor Profound] cultivators are waiting outside clan walls."

This time it was the Third elder from the Black Moon guild who informed me. 

*Sigh*

"Fine…let's see…we had Frozen Cloud, Heavenly Sword Villa, then Heaven Burning Clan swooping around, this leads the Xiao Sect." 

"Should I dispose of them?"

"No, let's first hear what they have to say." 

As I said that I proceeded to walk out of my warehouse, and my maid followed behind me, I swiftly ended up meeting with my Grandfather and some of the elders.

All of them have already reached [Earth Profound], which is a good thing in my books. We slowly moving through the ranks. By this point, we could pass as a branch sect. 

The whole group walked over to the main gate where the people of Xiao Sect were waiting for us.

Leading the front were a pair of old men. I could feel their cultivation of [Emperor Profound] radiating from them.

"Members of Xiao Clan, I am Xiao Wuqing, the Grand Sect Master of Xiao Sect. I was the one who exiled Xiao Beili from the Xiao Sect.

I wish to apologise for my hasty actions."

At that moment all of the Xiao Sect members cupped their hands respectfully. 

"..."

I didn't say anything… I was confused as fuck…

"...Okay… we accept this apology. You may leave now." I accepted it. I mean… What else is there to do? It was 150 or so years ago… it was a long time ago… while I still don't like them… I can accept this apology…

"..."

"Young Master…This…"

It appears I was too blunt, they can't even form words now.

"This is what you wanted. So you got what you wanted. I am a busy Alchemist you see. I have pills to make. So off you all go." 

That moment one of my bodyguards made himself known. 

This made the Xiao Sect members pale. They all swiftly left after this.

"There! Done."

"...Young Master…those were Xiao Sect…" One of the elders still can't believe we showed that middle finger to them.

"They were," I said with a shrug as I turned around and proceeded to walk away

While it only lasted 5 minutes tops, the interaction between Xiao Clan and Xiao Sect spread through the whole Blue Wind Empire swiftly.

One of the Great Sects of the Blue Wind Empire became a laughingstock of the Empire. 

Though many didn't see that there was not much they could do. It's not that uncommon to exile talentless people, it happens daily. But this time around Xiao Sect was extremely unlucky.

The exiled member's descendants produced one in thousands of years of genius which attracted the attention of Sacred Grounds. This is not a common thing. In truth, it never happened before. 

This is why it was such a big thing for such a small empire.

People don't know how to act in front of such abnormalities. 

While Xiao Sect became a joke, Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace gained something!

Chu Yueli flew back at the fastest possible speed. She quickly went to see the Palace Mistress.

"Reporting to Mistress!"

"Li'er? Why did you return so early?" The older Fairy asked from her icy throne.

"This, well, The news about Xiao Clan was true, Xiao Long is the new Young Master of Supreme Ocean Palace. He is protected by a Monarch…at least one."

"!!!"

The Palace Mistress for a second turned incredibly stiff. If not for her arts she might as well be flabbergasted.

"Li'er…did you encounter this Monarch?"

"Yes… I was at the mercy of the Young Master. The Monarch would have killed me effortlessly if he wanted to…" Chu Yueli uncomfortably remembered the experience. It's something she doesn't want to experience again.

"Heavens… This is more serious than I thought…"

"Yes. But, something good came from this."

"Speak, what happened?"

"The Young Master has taken all the ice from my body, in the process he opened three Profound Entrances of mine." 

For a moment, Palace Mistress' Profound Energy became chaotic when she heard that.

She got up from her icy throne and walked over to Chu Yueli. The Older Fairy put her hand on her and scanned her body.

"...This…is…"

What she sensed made her experience a multitude of things, and the biggest thought was…how to approach this?

"Li'er, what you received is a gift, don't squander it. If you are to cultivate as it is. I am certain that you will achieve [Emperor Profound] within a few years."

"Yes! Mistress!"

The Fairy was extremely elated with this development, it was hard for her to control her emotions, especially how her Frozen Heart Art needs to be re-cultivated after that episode in Xiao Clan.

"Good, now return to your cultivation, I need to think."

After Chu Yueli left, The Palace Mistress Gong Yuxian was thinking about how to proceed with the information she got.

'Need to see Grand Mistress…'

"Your Majesty…this can't be done."

"What does it mean it can't be done!" Feng Hengkong had a stack of simple-looking grass in his hands.

"See this grass? This is the Purifying grass! I want you to turn this into a pill! How hard it is!? Young Master Long made a pill from this while being in [Spirit Profound] and you are a [Tyrant Profound]! What is so hard!?" The Emperor furiously said that while waving the grass in front of the Alchemist's face.

"...Your Majesty… I am not a genius like the Supreme Ocean Palace Young Master. He is in a league of his own!" The Alchemist said with a deep frown.

"He is a self-taught boy who learned to use fire from a journal!!! A JOURNAL!" 

"..."

"...I am surrounded by useless people!" 

The Emperor threw the grass at the alchemist's face before walking away.

The past few days were absolute horror for Feng Hengkong. The Emperor was all but dethroned, and his father took Feng Xiluo, the 14th Prince as his successor. As Crown Prince Feng Ximing went insane when Feng Tianwei said that Feng Xue'er will be betrothed to Xiao Long. 

It was another embarrassment in Feng Hengkong's name. His son is lusting after his little sister. Utterly preposterous.

The Crown Prince's cultivation was sealed and he was thrown in the dungeons until further notice.

With this many failures, Feng Hengkong was desperate, he wanted to recreate the purification pills. But all the alchemists he visited none of them could do.

For the simple reason that it's just…grass! Thin, and extremely easy to burn, the gap between burning and liquid state is extremely thin…

It was simply impossible to produce proper pills!

Or should be…as The Young Master of Supreme Ocean Palace can do it

So why can't a much older experienced alchemist can't! And that is the fire… which he witnessed himself. 

In the end, Feng Hengkong could only give up.

Otherwise, he will need to 'retire' early and let his son rule…

With a deep sigh, he returned to the Palace. All of the elders were here. Feng Tianwei was catching up with the current politics…or more precisely the situation with Xiao Long.

More pills are flowing into the Black Moon guild, auction houses are on fire as well with how many want those pills. The cheaper ones, the upgraded ones, the vitality pills…

The upgraded version of the vitality pill that they got early just hit the market…

The reason? That it prolongs even Monarch's life… which is something one has never heard before.

Even the Sacred Grounds started looking into this matter… This made the Divine Phoenix Empire uncomfortable as they needed to move out as well.

"Hengkong, you are here. I assume you failed again?"

His Father's ice-cold voice said from the throne.

"...This Junior…has failed… none of the alchemists could do it."

"Of course, they can't! Did you forget!? If anyone could do it then he won't be the Next Sovereign of the Seas!!! You are just wasting precious time we have left!"

The current Emperor flinched several times as his father was roaring with a pissed-off voice, the previous Emperor's  Monarch aura barely under control.

"From now on, you will focus on the trade deal you made with the Young Master Xiao. I want all the grasses, herbs, and Fruits he wants to be collected and secured, the Emperor Profound weapons which he requested to be acquired or even forget if he wants, and lastly… those maidens I want them to be trained properly for the duties they will have to do."

"...understood, Royal Father."

"Now leave! I have no patience for you."
