56 Blood Potency Pill

With the new plan in mind, Xiao Long left the Elder Hall and was thinking about how to approach this. However, he was quickly distracted as he saw gold appear in front of him. 

"Ying'er."

"Master~"

The blonde quickly got close to him and snuggled into his arms.

"You have been busy; I had no chance to report my progress!" The beauty exclaimed with an angry pout. 

"Well, you can do it now." 

"Hmm, can we take this somewhere private?" She asked with glistening eyes. 

"...Very well." He said with a sigh as he picked her up by her waist and proceeded to fly.

Qianye Ying'er eyes gleamed as she sensed his cultivation and, more precisely, his aura!

His bloodline has become even stronger! This means that whatever he did has worked, and now he can improve bloodlines!

Just thinking about this makes her head spin. 

A few seconds later, they landed in front of his old manor. Even though he let her go, the blonde continued to hug him by wrapping her hands around his neck. 

"You have grown strong! It only has been a few short weeks!" The Blonde happily exclaimed as she measured him up.

"Yes, I did a few things."

"Like increasing potency of your blood?" The Goddess said with a knowing look.

"Indeed, I can do both things now, purify and increase the potency of my blood."

"Hehehe, you just love waving around that and trying to entice me! And then you say that I am the one who schemes!" The Blonde pouted at him; this was not fair in her eyes!

"It is how it is. I am trying to make you work so that you get those benefits later." To her accusation, he quite easily explained himself.

"So sweet, Master knows how to get out from such situations~ Your Ying'er approves. This is why I want to tell you that I already set in motion the fall of the remaining continent. 

From my research, the Empires will scramble to get a roof to protect themselves from the 'threat' of the Divine Phoenix Empire.

Absolute Monarch Sanctuary are reclusive, so they won't get involved; Sun and Moon Divine Hall have a— reputation. They won't go to them, and lastly, Mighty Heavenly Sword Region. They won't go to them because Supreme Ocean Palace has an animosity with them. 

This only leaves the Overlord of Divine Phoenix Empire."

The beauty smoothly explained to him as her hand stroked his chin.

"In other words, you forced them to run into only one available direction."

"Yesss~ Soon, your Grandmother will have Emperors pledging to her." She said with a purring tone; the beauty is waiting to be praised by him.

"You did splendidly. However, this leaves us with one wildcard."

Her eyes narrowed as she realised this as well.

"Mighty Heavenly Sword Region?" 

"Yes. Xuanyuan Wentian has the only [Sovereign Profound] weapon in the whole continent. But this weapon is not normal; it has a Devil sealed inside."

"...You serious? In this part of the Eastern Divine Region, there are Devil relics!?" Qianye Ying'er was blown away by what she just heard! This Star is extremely weird! Like what is with this place!?

'Wait! Didn't that brat arrive here for the Pearl!? It has the Sky Poison Pearl as well!?'

At that moment, the blonde glinted in her eyes. What if she is to get the pearl and hand it over to Xiao Long!? What kind of award will she get for that!?

It makes her excited just to think about it!

"Very. You have been there; you heard what Grandmother said. The sword has enough power to make another Sacred Ground rise. This means it has some sort of technique inscribed on it."

"Indeed! You should get that sword and do something with it!" The beauty suggested. Not every day they can get a sword which has a devil sealed inside! 

"Maybe. Studying the Yin side of Profound Energy could be beneficial in the long run."

She nodded, hearing that; the blonde just wanted to see him do something crazy. It makes her more amazed and curious about what he could create from all that!

"Yes-Yes~ Devil energy is poisonous to us; I can see you creating some sort of resistance pill, or opposite something which we could use against our enemies." As she said, that snuggled more into him. After all, she was still hugging him, and he was, in turn, hugging her. 

"Yes. Sounds interesting; however, first, we need to get it." 

"Do you want me to acquire it?" The blonde asked him, with an expecting look. She wants this mission! If she can do it, his opinion of her will increase, and he will rely on her more!

Such impressive accomplishments would bring her close to the exalted rank of a wife!

"You want me to allow you to deal with the Sword Region?" 

"Yesss~ Leave this to me! Once I am done with it, you will have a Sacred Ground beg for forgiveness." 

"Hoh?"

"Yes, did hear what the Sword Region did to your Supreme Ocean Palace."

"Hmm, there is more to that as well."

"Oh? Something more?" She asked extremely curiously. 

He nodded before picking her up and walking to take a seat on the couch with her on his lap.

"Yes. You see, around 17 years ago, Mighty Heavenly Sword Region was in this very place before I raised it to the skies. They were here, and they killed my uncle."

For a second, her eyes widened before she had an understanding look.

"So, for your clan, this IS personal." 

"You want me to completely ruin and destroy them?" Qianye Ying'er almost begged him to let her do it!

"I don't want their extinction. No, that's far too simple; I could do it myself at this very moment. I could cast a formation where they would kill each other, believing they were invaded, or make their blood erupt like a fountain or volcano."

For a second, she shivered when she heard how casually he said that. 

"No, I believe in what my other Grandfather does." He smiled at her.

"We are going to make them completely reliant on us, pills, resources, everything. I want to take everything from them."

"Hehehe, fine, not my usual tactics, but I could do it." The beauty giggled before agreeing to his request.

"Now, for this to work, I do need to infiltrate their Region. I would need resources to bribe them." She asked him quite seriously.

"Not an issue. You can take whatever you want."

"That's what I like to hear." The blonde nodded at him.

"Do be careful."

His worry made a small blush erupt on her cheeks.

"I-I will, but I will need to leave you for some time. I need to build up a small power base so that I can fulfil your request."

He slowly nodded at her.

"Very well. This means I won't be able to see my Ying'er for a while."

Her blush got deeper red as she heard this. She was slightly concerned about how he effortlessly could pull her emotions like this. 

'It has to be that energy! It has to be this. Whatever dual cultivation thing he is practising makes females more obedient and obsessed with him! It has to be it.' 

Though she is thinking like that, she still is giddy for him to use this energy on her!

"Y-Yes! This means I want to receive an upfront reward!" 

He raised his eyebrow when he heard her request.

"A-A small one!" 

"Like?"

"A short kissing—" She thought about one kiss but then got slightly greedy and changed into a 'session'. "-Session?"

*Snort*

"Fair enough; I don't mind motivating my golden goddess."

"Hehehe, that's what I like to hear!~~~"

~~~~~~Around the Continent~~~~~~

Just like how Qianye Ying'er predicted, it happened just like that, the Empires around the Continent got spooked by Divine Phoenix Empire.

Except for one Empire, Blue Wind Empire didn't even know what was going on.

While Blue Wind is clueless, the others are not; the rumour only made more sense when they heard rumours about the gathering of soldiers around the borders they have with the Divine Phoenix Empire.

This has put them on the edge.

The Royal families were in a tight spot. They either fight until they die or give away some resources and pledge themselves to the Sacred Grounds.

The issue with their plan is that Sacred Grounds don't care who rules the lands as long as they get the resources.

So they went to the best next options. 

Black Moon Merchant Guild, Zi Ji was delighted that the empires wanted their help; after all, they all knew this was a plot made by the Young Master and them. 

'I am proud of Long'er; he already learned how to use these tactics!' Zi Ji nodded to himself as he saw the Emperor of Grand Asura Nation asking to have a meeting as soon as possible.

Truly, if they want to give their resources to him, by all means, why not accept such a generous offer?

"Send him in; let's see what he has to say."

After the meeting, I was wondering how to deal with my Sect insubordination. The pseudo-immortality will soon be available in Contribution Hall. 

Though an idea quickly popped into my mind. Brahma Monarch Realm and their Brahma Soul Bell.

Though making a bell sounds awful, something more 'cool' is needed.

'An Artefact which could help control people…Hmm….'

After thinking for a bit, I remember one cool item.

'The Ring of Power, one ring to rule them all.'

However, how to make the rule part? 

I only needed to think for a second as I remembered the bloodline forge and how Brahma Monarch Realm has a monopoly on their bloodline.

'Heh, this could work. Knowing how easily people accept cheap powerups here, no one will ever consider for it to be a set-up for something more sinister.'

After thinking for a bit, I started my work. 

Arranging bloodline to have control stuff was quite easy; Qianye Ying'er blood has all the examples. 

So I just needed to pull up that Command tablet and replicate it.

However, the issue was blood itself. 

'What to do? What kind of blood to use? Hmm…' 

Thinking for a bit on this, I came with the decision to use the excess blood from Profound Beasts I have. 

However, this will mean I have to use and abuse the Bloodline Forge. 

'Not difficult to do this is not splicing off powers from God's blood.'

I took several buckets down to the basement and proceeded to experiment. 

The first part was to splice off the nuisance, leaving only the potency and the formation array, which will be connected to the main Artefact. 

However, the issue is that the blood can't exist without cut-off parts.

'But what is left is liquid-like essence! Hoh!? Can I make this into a pill!?'

I quickly created some water and proceeded to use it to grab the liquid essence. 

To my surprise, it was quite difficult to make it continue existing even within the water containment. It's like how magnets are pushing each other away. 

'Hmm, I guess I need to find some sort of herbs which could stabilise the blood and make it into a pill.'

After raiding the herb and medical pavilion, I couldn't find anything which could react to unstable blood. 

Since regular stuff doesn't work, I decided to go with plan B, Runes. 

For a second, I thought of using Language of True Gods, but that would mean one pill per day. 

So no. I decided to go basic and use regular runes.

Firstly, to recreate the boundary which could keep it in place, the same thing as I have created in the bloodline forge. 

Secondary is a rune which, when one swallows the pills, fuses with blood instead of getting digested. 

And lastly, using water to give the pill substance.

"Whoa."

I inspected the final result. It was solid-looking water, like a small ice ball. One could see that it has a thin layer of ice which is keeping this ball of water in place.

Like an egg, though, the best part is the runes floating inside. Those are the ones which keep the blood essence in place and will dissolve and dissipate when the pill is swallowed.

'Right, let's see if it works.'

After finishing it, I took it to the pill reader. 

[Runic Pill of Blood Potency and Bloodline Marking]

[Effect: Increase in Bloodline Potency and marks Bloodline]

[Potency: Depending on Bloodline Purity]

[Duration: Instantenous]

[Side Effects: Bloodline will be Marked]

'I am impressed that it could read this deeply into the pill. Sonar-based artefacts are quite powerful.'

Though this kind of pill gives me ideas for more sinister pills, all I did was blood and a drop of water, but it could boost bloodline potency.

I could make some pills for my enemies. 

'Hmm, yes, though I need to come up with something nice; casual explosion or cultivation sealing is boring.'

Thinking about this, I pulled out my notebook and wrote down the idea before putting it back in place.

After making the potency pill, I proceeded to make some more.

Xing Tong heard about the bloodline potency pill appearing in the Contribution halls. For the first seven days, the pill will be extra cheap. 

So this made the scramble to get some! She knows well enough that her Legacy and bloodline are getting weaker and weaker with each generation.

This means if she gets these pills, she will strengthen her bloodline and cultivate faster! Maybe even reach Peak [Divine Master] this time around. If she does it, she could be stronger than THAT man and stop that ritual! 

Though, before she could go anywhere, she was caught by Xiao Long, who picked her up casually.

"Gah!? Put me down!" The Redhead angrily exclaimed for being treated like this!

"Relax, Tong'er; those pills are for my Sect. I have something better for you." 

She stopped struggling for a second and looked at him. 

"Y-You do?"

"Yes. Can you keep a secret?" He asked with a smile, which made her heart beat faster for a second. 

'H-He is going to share something with me? Something only his closest people will only know!?' This made her extremely excited for some reason. 

The poor girl doesn't realise that this is just one of a bunch of plans he has to rope her in.

One of the best ways to build trust is to share some secrets. Not that Xiao Long will share some extremely important ones. Nope, he will share one, which won't be a secret for long.

"Y-Yes! Of course!"

"Great then, come with me."

As he said that, he had placed her on the ground and motioned to follow him.

At that moment, she felt a profound bubble appear around them.

"The blood potency pills have another use."

"Oh?" For a second, Xing Tong sighed in relief; thankfully, she blindly didn't consume those pills.

"Yes. They all have the same runic marking your soul, body, and blood. However, instead of being linked to me directly, those blood markings will be linked to an Artefact."

"Y-You created a similar artefact to the one which Brahma Monarch Realm has!?" She exclaimed with disbelief. Did he create something only a True God could do!?

"Yes. Similar, but a bell is quite a silly thing to do. I decided to go with a ring."

As he said that, the pair arrived at his warehouse. He motioned for her to enter the building; once inside, he went to one of his working tables.

"What is that!?"

Her eyes bulged out as she saw how a bunch of Purple veined crystals were being shattered, and the energy was being morphed and then added to a golden ring.

"The ring is still being made. The process will take a while, but once done, it will be a powerful artefact. 

I decided to make something which is not just a ring to control the sect but to improve sensory abilities, which means It's easier to cultivate; it works as a Foci as well."

"Foci?"

"An item which allows you to focus your energy at one point. From my observations, such items will make it easier to cast Profound Arts on a large scale, especially with Arrays and Formations."

"...This, could I get something similar? Not the controlling sect part?" She asked him softly.

"Oh? Does my Tong'er want a new toy?" He teased her while patting her head.

"Y-Yes! Okay? It looks like it would be extremely useful!" She stuttered through his tease, but she was able to hold her ground.

"Hmm, I could make something nice. Maybe a necklace? Or do you want a ring?" 

Honestly, he doesn't need to hold back with her and Qianye Ying'er. The pair belong to him anyway; he can treat them even as an extension of his power.

"Hmm, a bracelet?" 

"Fair enough. I will create one after the Sect Ring is done."

Hearing that he would easily make it without even asking for anything back made her excited to the point that she lunged forward and hugged him.

"There-There, a good kitten."

When she heard that, her whole body turned stiff. She had no courage to show her face now! 

"Now, let's return to the reason why I brough you here."

The girl swiftly left his embrace as she was happy that he changed the theme of the conversation.

"So what is it?"

"Follow me."

He motioned to follow her downstairs.

"What is this!!?"

"Welcome to Bloodline Forge."

"Bloodline — Forge?" Never in her wildest of dreams had she expected to hear those two words being used to describe one place!

"This is where I got the powers from you and Ying'er, as well as Phoenix. This is where I will restore your bloodline potency; I am pretty sure I will make you the most powerful Star God in a short amount of time."

She stiffly nodded as her gaze inspected the room. She had never seen such constructs before. Lines, zigzags of runes, arrays, and the walls themselves look crystalline. 

This was a place out of this world; no wonder it was created to Forge Bloodlines!

As he explained to her, he walked over and placed the Formation Core in the anvil-like thing.

This was where her eyes widened as she saw the whole room light up.

"Well then, should we start?"
