Regret

Seeing Xiu Luo was silent elder showed happy expression for first time after encountering Xiu Luo.

After sometime Xiu Luo then turn to face Xu Mei, to return back the scroll and Xu Mei returned the scroll, then he kept this under his cloths.

"You came for a mission right." Xiu Luo asked to Xu Mei and she nodded.

"Tell the mission details to the Elder Xu." Xu Mei don't know what Xiu Luo want from that but she told the elder as she was ordered. But Elder Xu's expression changed after hearing.

"Before I killed one of your clansman he told me that your can is abducting the people from mortal world, do you still want to deceive me." Xiu Luo said as he kept his hand on his chin and facing Elder Xu in amusement.

Elder Xu's face distorted like he just ate the shit as he clicked his tongue. Then he glared at Xu Mei with ferocious look, why not look, because she is the reason he came to the forest and become waste and she came here investigating about their Xu Clan. Now he has an urge to first kill Xu Mei than Xiu Luo. But he can't do in front of Xiu Luo as he just clenched his fist.

The girl also understand that the Xu clan is responsible for the abduction of the people, if she can't even understand after the conversation then she can only be considered as fool.

"Hey girl from which place in mortal world you got request." Xiu Luo asked the girl.

"Sir, its Xia dynasty." The girl replied.

Hearing this Xiu Luo become silent as he went in deep thoughts.

"Sir I am telling the truth but I don't know the mortal affair." The girl was frightend when Xiu Luo become silent and she even start doing knowtwo to Xiu Luo.

"There was a great war in the mortal world two years back and Xia dynasty was the centre of the war. During this war too many peaople died and whole kingdom was in the fire but many people fled...." Elder tried to explain the mortals affairs to Xiu Luo to impress him, but the latter was stopped by Xiu Luo. 

"You don't need to say I was just in thoughts." Xiu Luo interrupted him in a cold voice and again started thinking. 

For a long time both of them didn't disturb Xiu Luo and the atmosphere became deathly silent. After sometime Elder Xu finally broke the silent atmosphere. 

"Boy what are you gonna do, now you know about our Xu clan secret." Elder Xu asked in a serious tone like he threatening the latter, before he played with Xiu Luo but now it is not only his life is risk but whole Xu clan.

"Huh elder you are mistaken I won't do anything , why should I provoke your Xu clan." He told innocently as his playfulness return and his seriousness gone as he is walked. Both Elder Xu and Xu Mei doesn't know why he is walking. 

Tsk... the elder was displeased with his reaction. Before he could say anything Xiu Luo continued.

"But elder this girl knows about your Xu clan's crimes and she is also from the Burning Flame immortal sect, and when she goes back she is going to report it. I would have done a favour to your clan by killng her but I had promised that 'I will spare her if she is valuable'. And elder as you know me very well that I am the person who keep promises, that's why I can't kill her." Xiu Luo said as he continued walking and stop turn back said something that shocked both of them.

"I am sorry elder." Then Xiu Luo apologised Elder Xu by slightly bowing his head.

"Elder I won't kill her but that doesn't mean no one can kill her. Elder I regret very much by making you waste so as to amend for what I had to my dear elder, I will give the opportunity to you to kill her so take this and kill her." After apologising Xiu Luo said as he throwed one sword from his storage bag near Elder Xu.

"You..." hearing what Xiu Luo said Xu Mei become horrified and glare at Xiu Luo with clenching her teeth with frustration.

But Elder Xu picked up the sword first he take a look at Xiu Luo with complicated expression then he turn to Xu Mei with ferocious gaze.

"You..." Xu didn't thought that the Elder Xu was going to attack, she thought that she is from immortal sect and how much the latter is dissatisfied with her, he won't dare to say anything but now the elder is trying to kill her.

Well Xu Mei was right when Elder Xu was crippled he blamed Xu Mei but he just stayed when Xiu Luo said he was going to spare her and if she goes back to immortal sect, it might be a problem but Xiu Luo said that the latter can kill her, Elder Xu didn't even think for a second and charged at Xu Mei.

Seeing Elder Xu attacking her, Xu Mei avoided it with slight margin as there is a sword mark on her face. After avoiding she maintained the distance from elder Xu but a shocking scene happened and both stopped moving.

Because a sword came near Xu Mei and both parties stopped fighting and looked at Xiu Luo.

"Well I told that 'I will spare you' so I can't let the person get killed who I spared so take that sword and fight for your life." Xiu Luo faced at Xu Mei as he said innocently again pointing his finger towards the sword.

"Good luck girl."

"Good luck elder."

Both Xu Mei and Elder Xu were in dazed and then they stopped moving as they were staring at Xiu Luo with bloodshot eyes. 

"Huh should I kill both of you." Sensing that both the parties staring at him he said in deep voice.

"Elder i was going to spare you because I have some important work to do with your Xu clan so don't let me change my mind." Xiu Luo said to Elder Xu, well if he could ignite the fire at one side the other will also fight for life.

"Now start fighting." Xiu Luo gave the signal.

Both parties started fighting, Xu Mei had a cultivation base but she was exhausted as she had not yet recovered and Elder was crippled but he had experience with years of life, so both of them are just fighting purely with sword skill without using spiritual qi.

And their fight getting intensied as time passe as they were fighting for their life.

But someone is sitting on the ground while eating the roasted meat and holding the gourd of wine on other hand and that is none other but Xiu Luo as he continuously observing the battle by using spirit sense technique.

But he didn't sit idle as he is cheering loudly.

"Elder Xu that bitch is the reason you were crippled kill her."

"Fight elder." Xiu Luo cheered for Elder Xu and the elder's attack intensified by his cheering. But next moment he heard something that want him to kill the latter.

"Girl this old dead weight is the one you brought for help but he is trying to kill you now, so don't hold back and kill that old man." Next Xiu Luo shouted to girl and the girl's attack also intensified.

"Elder this girl ..nom.. nom.. knows your clan dirty secrets..nom..nom she can't be left alive kill her." Xiu Luo while eating the meat he mouth is fulled with the food.

"Girl if you want to save your gulp ...gulp kill this old man."

Like this Xiu Luo cheered for both of them.

Their fight intensified but their eyes were moist as tears are flowing from their eyes by listening to Xiu Luo. Both of them had an urge to stab that demon.

"Huh how much good person I am, that I am cheering for the enemies who just wanted to kill me" Xiu Luo muttered loudly, like he praising himself but both the parties could hear him as they had focused him.

Both of them were wounded and blood is flowing.

Finally Elder Xu stabbed Xu Mei near the waist and she fell down laying on the ground facing the elder while thinking.

Yes what Xiu Luo said is right she should have gone to burning flame immortal sect and take the revenge on Xiu Luo. She regretted going to Xu clan. But the biggest regret is that she met the shameless person who had her made into this situation and that is none other Xiu Luo.

The unwillingness and regret could be seen on girl's face. Finally she uttered a word.

"Demon." Finally she uttered a word facing the elder but she said this to Xiu Luo and Elder Xu understood her to whom she is saying because is also saying the same thing in his mind but didn't say loudly as he thought about his life.

The elder stab the sword in Xu Mei's heart and she died with regrets.
