Chapter- Bright light

Xiuluo came far away from the cultivation world, it is near border between the mortal world and the immortal world. He walked past fo two days, now he settle down near the lake at night to take the rest. But he has complicated expression on his face, due to that person's indifferent words. His heart aches like hundreds of needles were stabbing. He was sitting near the lake looking down even though he can't see, he then untied the fold on his eyes and golden eyes can be seen and he laid down their facing the sky. He was remorsing in his thoughts and finally fell sleep. 

At midnight :

During the midnight instead of dark there is bright light covered the sky. The entire sky grew bright. Due to this Xiuluo woke up. But the light is too bright that even though he is blind his eyes were aching due to the light. His eyes pain started to intensified and he tied the black fold around his eyes. But the pain does not decrease but got intensified as seconds pass by Xiuluo groaned as pain intensified kneeling down staring at the lake, even the lake glows brightly as the light reflected on it and the lake looks too beautiful which does not even have spirituality and now the immortal springs also can't even match the current lake.

The light is too bright but Xiuluo is groaning in pain. Its like he has reached his limit he suddenly turned back glaring the light ferociously like a beast. He gritted his teeth continued to stare at the bright light the blood is flowing from the corner of his eyes but he didn't stop as he continued to glare. The light grew intensified like it met its opponent, the more Xiuluo glare at the light the more it get intensified. This continues till one whole hour and the corner of his eyes still bleeding but he didn't turn back still glaring at the light . Suddenly the bright light starting to become dim, it is still bright covering the whole sky and reflecting its light on the water surface but it didn't harm Xiuluo like it declaring its defeat.

"Huh..." Xiuluo was shocked not because of light defeat because he can see clearly the sky. To confirm he looks towards the lake the lake looks too beautiful like an immortal sping.

"Can i really see the things now." Xiuluo questioned himself. He knows that many renowned figures of holy dragon sect checked him as it is unknown reason that he lost his eyesight, they want to study so they want to learn the cause and treat him but everyone failed but now he can see, on his expressionless face he got a smile. He want to look at the source that help him but he was shocked too much more than then he get when his eyesight back.

The light covered the whole sky but that is not the light but sea of golden flame and beside it black lightening is present in the sea of flames . The light is a mixture of black and golden colour.

In the sea of flame there is a bird with magnificent wings and nine tails brilliant scarlet and gold plumage extended from the field of flames, its radiance overwhelming all the stars in the void. The bird reflects so much light from its blaze that it seems to emit rays like the Sun. The bird's golden eyes were staring at Xiuluo.

"Is that a legendary phoenix" Xiuluo was in disbelief and he pinched his own cheek forcefully.

"Ah.. so this is not a dream, is that really a legendary phoenix." Beacuse Xiuluo and Ningxue used to study the literature and historical books and they once studied during their childhood and they learned about dragon and phoenix legend and later they know that those lagends were true in cultivation world.

He start looking at the second phenomenon beside the phoenix, there is humongous beast which is dark black in balck in colour covered by the scales on its body and the beast has two dark black wings and its claws look ferocious. Its size and appearance is as domineering as the phoenix while phoenix releases the flames, the beast released the black lightening bolt from its body. A single bolt is enough to destroy the world. And the thunder beast is also staring at Xiuluo.

Then there was a sword which is even more domineering than the phoenix and the beast its glowing in a black and scarlet red radiance like it had killed too many people. Its size is too big that Xiuluo can't see its handle its just like he is seeing the tip. 

"Gulp... "he silently swallowed his saliva while the latters were staring at him. 

Suddenly the bright light grew dim and gradually the sky return back to normal. But from the sky the golden flame, the black lightening and piece of metal fell in front of Xiuluo. The whole phenomena disappear like it never happened the lake turn back to nornal and the black sky return back to normal.

He is looking at the golden flame, black lightening and a piece of metal placed in front of him. They were just now too domineering but now they are like this. 

"You were also betrayed?" The manly voice came from the golden flame and black lightning like they have spirituality. Their voice was hoarse, ancient, vivid and lonely.

Suddenly he recalled the events what the sect did to him they sent him to a mission and tried to kill him there. And how Li ningxue showed indifferent attitude towards him. 

"Yes " he replied.

For some reason he feel remorse towards them, from their conversation he can guess that they were also betrayed by their love ones. And they were roaming here and there like him without any direction, how much domineering they were before but now the flames looks like it will blow away in the wind and extinguish its light, the beast which was releasing a vast number of lightening bolt now just become a vortex of black lightning and the domineering sword which had even more momentum than the both was now just become the broken metal piece and lost spirituality too.

Its like previously they were showing how they were in their glorious time and how they are now after been betrayed. Xiuluo feel heart ache, its like in front of their situation his situation is just like a drop of water in the sea. 

May be they showed their appearance beacause they also feel his heartache of being betrayed.

While looking at them, he streched his palm and the golden flames and the black lightening flew on his palm look like they were fighting to be on his palm. Its like that they fighting for the first place in a competition. But the broken mtall peice laid down their only as it lost its spirituality.

When he sees that he laugh heartily and gently crassed them but suddenly the golden flame and the black lightening rushed into his body. And they circulated in his body and rushed towards his broken dantian. 

Soon, a scorching heat came from his lower abdomen, causing him to look inwardly at his body.

He is watching the amazing scene. Because of the golden flamen, his cracked dantian healed at a speed visible to the naked eye. The warmth flowed all over the body. The muscles started twitching and cracking sound could be hear from his body the black lightening is refining his viscera and organs and it stabbing the chakra points and cracking voice could be heard clearly of bones refining and the golden flame washed and refned the bone marrow.

Xiuluo got shocked because to refine this much it will take days but it happening in front of him within an hour. And then shocking scene happen.

The flame and the lightning jumped up and down in the dantian, and it seemed to feel the small capacity. The golden and the black lightning start fusing and form the huge vortex and start to absorb the surrounding spiritual qi . They released the the blaclk and golden radiance until it become huge flame sea. 

During this Xiuluo gritted his teeth beacause of the pain. He screamed inwardly. The pain is too much, its like his body is burning and tearing.

His dantian expanded like he can store twice the the amount of spiritual qi but the process is not over. Because they suddenly attack the newly stored dantian. Its look like they playing with Xiuluo.

Boom _. The voice is heard because the just restored dantian broken again. Then they again release their radiance . They were trying to create a space for them but Xiuluo is not in good condition.He lay on the ground and panted heavily, his whole body is drenched in sweat due to severe pain blue veins can be visible on his face but he gritted his teeth and endured as you can that the blood is flowing from teeth and mouth. But then their radiance faded and large sea of spiritual qi can be seen. The process completed. Due to this pain drifted and seeing this Xiuluo also fainted on the ground.

There is now only the piece of metal and Xiuluo present near the lake, and the golden flame and black lightening is in the dantian of Xiuluo. But suddenly there is a small vibration in the broken sword piece as it have spirituality.
