4. Moon sect

Several hours after the ceremony in the maple town, when the sun was about to vanish from the horizon and moons's gentle silvery rays had started to bathe the earth , a large black bird could be seen approaching the vicinity of moon sect.

The brid had several children sitting on top of its body , the children eyes were filled with excitement and determination.

Ethan while sitting on top of bird looked around, the view in front was magical. He could see various kind of beasts in the forest they had passed through , some of whose aura was more frightening than the bird they were flying with.

He had seen them passing various town , some big while some smaller than maple town. All this fascinating and enchanting him as he had never been out of his own town .

He could see that they were approaching a short mountain range where different structures were scattered all around the place . A little bit of movement could be also be seen from the distance.

This was the moment Peter chose to break the well established silance that had taken place since they left for the sect.

"Look everyone the mountain range there ". He said while pointing with his fingers . " That whole place belongs to our moon sect and we occupy the forest around as well."

At this, everyone was at awe at the sheer size of the sect . They could never think someone could occupy that big of a land.

A moment later one of the kid next to Ethan asked " so senior do we live on the mountain then?"

"Well yes , you will be provided a place to stay , don't worry about that. And now that we are here at sect you can call me senior brother. Or senior Peter will do the job. " He said explaining .

The bird rapidly approached an open ground and landed.

Thud!

There was a jerk as the bird landed and the passengers of the bird first hand what Newton's 2nd law meant your mortal world.

Everyone climbed down and took a moment to stabilize themselves from the long flight they had taken .

Ethan looked around the ground they had landed in and saw there were other big birds as well the people of their age standing beside them .

While the children were mixing with one another Peter went to meet other senior desciples of the sect.

"Hello Michelle, Lana . How did it go . Did you find any promising talent this year?". He asked while looking at the two of his sect companions . While he was not friends with them , he did maintain a cordial relationship with both.

"Why yes . Surprisingly I found a blue level talent during talent ceremony. And more surprisingly she was daughter of a commoner . ". Both Michelle and Peter were shocked to hear this , as blue level talents were hard to find , more so from a commoner family.Lana looked over one of the girls who came with her. She was well surrounded by other children due to her being red level talent. " What about you Michelle, found any ?"

"No.. my luck wasn't any good, there are a few red level though so not bad ."

" Well I have decent children with me as well, there is one with green level talent though, he belongs to one of the ruling family of that town .... Must have been rejected by them ." Peter said , as he looked at the kids he came with , one of whom was surrounded with other kids due to his nice bearings and his good talent colour as well.

At this moment an elderly man arrived there wearing yellow clothes. He had a medium built , his body not too frail but was radiating power more than the desciples present.

"""Elder Han """

all three of them bowed in front of him .

"Good job all of you . You can take your contribution points from the work centre. I will tell kids the rule and regulations of the sect.". The elder said to the three of them .

"""Yes""" . The three bowed again and started going to get their above mentioned contribution points.

Tbe elder then moved towards the children and said.

" Gather around children, come here.". Though not loud , his voice was able to reach all the new desciples present on the ground. All the senior desciples had already left , so everyone gathered around him.

" I will tell you some things about the sect . Although you all will get a book about introduction and instructions of the sect , there a few things I will say . All of you must listen properly."

" Now then , you will call me elder Han , I am an outer court elder of the moon sect . Now if there is a outer court then there must be others as well . So they are inner and core court of sect . You all can advance to those as you progress properly.

There are various halls in the sect . Mission hall for one is the place you take missions from the sect, which on completion will give you contribution points. Now this contribution point is something useful to you all , as this will work as currency inside the sect. You can buy scrolls, pills , weapon etc with it.

But for the upcoming 2 years, you will not be taking any mission as you will train through the body refinement stage .

You can later on go and see which hall is where.

Now moon sect .... It has been around for a few hundred years now . We along with aqua heart and boulder sect are 3 third rank sects of country of Artea . There are two others as well , flying sword sect and red Lotus sect . They are both 2nd rank sects and have more history and foundation than us. But since all you came here , if you all are faithful to sect , the sect will be your home and all of us your family members.

I will give you this book now , read it at night , from tomorrow onwards your classes and training will start. If any you comes out be exceptional then there is chance that you can get a master as well. So work hard children."

Finished speaking, he waved his hand and just like that a book appeared in front of everyone. It hovered In front of them .

Gasp!

This made everyone surprised as the books appeared out of nowhere. The elder smiled at their surprised faces and told them to take the books and follow him .

As they toured the sect , they took various turns along the way. The paths were covered with grass and trees could be seen along the way . At some point they could hear sound of their senior desciples training. They also found some other elders along the way , all of whom bowed to elder Han , indicating that he might be more old or powerful than than them.

They saw the place where they were to dine for the near future. They also found areanas where some of the sect desciples were fighting.

They finally reached their destination . . It was a field with multiple houses built in it .

" Alright everyone, each one you will get a room , you will be living here for 3 to 4 years .After which , you will have to pay contribution points to live here , or you can get other accomodation as well. For now rest and sleep well , your training and teaching starts tomorrow."

""Yes elder Han""

Everyone said together as they left for their rooms . Elder saw them leave for a while , at this moment he felt someone watching him so he moved his eves till they found a boy with blue eyes watching him intently, he could see the spirit of the boy in those eyes.

' Intresting ' he left as he thaught about it .

As I saw elder Han leave, I couldn't help but wonder at everything that happened today. Going to my room , I found that it had a bed , some clothes, and some books on the shelf in the room .

Lying on the bed , I drifted into thoughts of me being a powerful person , I could smash mountain with my hands. I saw that I could fly in the sky above ....

Thinking about those things , a smile open out on my face , gripping the locket in my neck tightly I drifted into sleep , ready for tommorow .....
