10 Practice Makes Perfect

When a rabbit appeared in Erwin's hand he instinctively threw the rabbit but when the rabbit hit the wall it exploded in golden particles.

Himeko and Welt watched the whole thing happen with Himeko being a little surprised and Welt faced indifference.

"What the fuck was that!" Erwin shouted loudly.

Himeko raised an eyebrow at Erwin's outburst, while Welt maintained his composed demeanor. Erwin, still baffled by the unexpected turn of events, stared at his now-empty hand with a mixture of confusion and disbelief.

Himeko, recovering from her initial surprise, calmly asked, "Erwin, while your surprise was expected we should calm down and know what you are currently dealing with."

Erwin, shaking his head, replied, "Yes, Miss Himeko, your right nothing like this has ever happened before. It's just that I was just surprised that the rabbit appeared, and I... I didn't mean to throw it, but then it exploded!"

Welt, finally breaking his silence, said, "Alright I shall teach you the basic on using this power as your clearly inexperience with controlling the imaginary element as the saying goes 'Practice makes Perfect' now I shall give you the basics after I'm done with my coffee."

Erwin relaxed and became calm after his episode while waiting for Pom-Pom to cook breakfast.

28 Minutes later Pom-pom came into the parlor car with trays of food prepared.

Erwin wanting to pick up the food right away was asked to wake up March as breakfast was ready and to ask Dan Heng to come out of the Archives to eat breakfast.

Erwin at the door of March's room knocked three times getting to no response, knocked again to which he is receiving groans, before knocking a third time he though of a scene in a tv show to which he acted upon it in swift motion "*knock3x*March" said in three successful successions.

After a few seconds a tired March opens her room door with a tired voice "Did really have to do that".

Erwin with a mischievous smile saying "Do what?".

March who just got up said "The knocking part".

"Which knocking part?" Erwin holding back his laugh with a smile.

In a tired tone March said "Just forget it I probably shouldn't have stayed up all night editing photos".

"I know about your reasons for photography but couldn't you have done that until the next day or somethin" Erwin with a now 'concerning for march' voice.

March who now is outside with her PJ's casually said "I know but your new here and you being in a similar as I am seems like we can know our experiences so I may have done an all-nighter and possibly slept late but its fine now."

"Well if you say so then I was here to tell you that breakfast is ready." the now hungry Erwin almost drooling.

Which both Erwin and March arrived to the parlor car they met Dan Heng on the way and now eat with Himeko and Welt.

After breakfast Welt requested Erwin to come with him alone.

When Welt and Erwin are alone Welt spoke first saying "Now that were alone I should teach you that basics of using the element of Imaginary."

Erwin still unsure about the Imaginary element questioned to Welt on how can he even achieve that.

"Well you were having trouble comprehending controlling it when you felt that rabbit you made" Welt spoke.

Erwin questioned himself "Despise conjuring that rabbit in my hand I did have some doubt about it."

Welt in teaching tone "Then we shall start your training then right here right now"

"Wait already!" Erwin exclaimed and surprised which prompt Welt to bonk him in the head with his cane.

Erwin rubbed his head in mild pain, looking at Welt with a mix of surprise and indignation. "What was that for?"

Welt, unapologetic, responded, "Training waits for no one. Now, focus your thoughts. Let's see if you can conjure that rabbit again, but this time, control it."

Himeko, watching the exchange with a faint smirk walked up to them, added, "You might be onto something, Welt. We could use a crew member with a few tricks up their sleeve."

Reluctantly, Erwin closed his eyes, attempting to concentrate on the image of the rabbit in his mind. After a moment of silence, he opened his eyes to find... nothing. No rabbit, no golden particles, just nothing in particular is happening.

Welt sighed, "Patience, Erwin. These things take time. You can't expect to master newfound abilities instantly."

As Erwin continued to practice, Himeko left with the reason of doing Maintenance to the Expresses engines.

Hours passed, and Erwin's frustration grew. Welt, sensing his struggle, offered a reassuring smile. "It's okay, Erwin. Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither are extraordinary abilities mastered overnight. Take your time, and recreate the emotions you've gone through and let it guide you."

Erwin felt nice having to be taught something he has no subject of, while Welt added "Remember Practice Makes Perfect, no one can do everything in a few minutes nor hours be patient, concentrate, and do it."

With the minor encouragement Erwin focus on how he conjured the rabbit but instead a rabbit he recalled in his old world (maybe universe) about a game he most enjoyed 'Portal' he though he could recreate it but can't seem to then just gave up for the day.

Welt who saw that Erwin was tired said "We can do it again tomorrow after all we have time before our destination."

Erwin going back to his room face planted in his bed said "Welt's right I can do this in another day maybe its because I tried too hard after all I don't even know what I did do wrong."

"Ha....alright I should calm down and see what's wrong after all I can't do everything in a single day as Welt says Practice Makes Perfect and I should do it slowly but surely." With Erwin continuing to practice for the afternoon until dinner.
