Nerissa saw that Snow had stopped and run up to meet him. At the same time, White Wing arrived and stood by the side of his cub. His gaze, first of all, wandered to White-Fire and then to Snow.

He felt he was about to disturb his mother but when he saw the vibrant smile plastered on his cub's face, White Wing had a change of thought, causing him to wonder what was going on. 

"Snow, what is the matter? What is wrong?" He asked after a few seconds.

It was at this time that White-Fire spoke again, recalling what she just said a few minutes ago.

"Let him be. He felt it too. She is alive," White-Fire said with a smile on her face.

"What!" Nerissa and White Wing chorused.

"What do you mean? Please be clear. Who is alive?" Nerissa questioned.

"You know the answer to what you seek to know, Nerissa," White-Fire replied her question.

"You mean Astrid is alive? My baby girl is okay?"
