Blade's brows creased at the words he just heard. These people sure knew how to chip in words that they knew nothing about.

Were all that he had been saying falling on deaf ears?

"I am sorry to inform, you that..."

"Your Majesty, urgent news from the dungeon," a guard called out from outside the throne room.

"The dungeon?"

Everyone began to murmur again and instinctively, Blade turned his head towards the door.

"Let him in." The doors pushed open and another soldier ran inside.

"Greetings your majesties, your highnesses and our high ministers and generals."

"What news have you? Regin asked.

"The hybrid."

"Yes?" Jareth quickly cut in.

"She has awoken."

"What!"

"Yes your majesty, the hybrid is awake."

Before anyone could register what he just said completely, Blade was already out the door and running towards the dungeon.
