CHAPTER 563

*Moments back*

The more the energy seemed to rush into her and want to tear her apart, Astrid could only accept it. She had a strange feeling of wanting the pain and accepting it.

Seconds passed and her body felt like it was on fire and yet it soothed her. The earth beneath her feet soothed her body the more.  Her earing once more became heightened.

She could hear the chirping of birds from miles away. The sweet smell fo fresh grasses. The wonderful swaying of the leaves on the tree as the soothing wind blew past them in a dancing motion.

Everything around her, every cell in her body came alive at the net stance. Every distinguished smell assaulted her nostrils, including the smell of dried blood on the battlefield, and the smell of the salty seawater.

Her body welcomed all of these feelings once more till she could see the energy flood into her and begin to spiral at her core.
