202 Naughty Confession

CHAPTER 202

"Astrid?" he asked the voice in his mind.

"Jareth, come back."

Immediately he blinked his eyes and darted his gaze to who was in front of him and was greeted back with a pair of black teary ones.

He blinked several times, registering the face in front of him. "Astrid!"

"Jareth, you're back."

Without waiting for his response, Astrid moved in and hugged his neck tight. Jareth wasn't expecting the sudden contact and was surprised, leaving his heart beating fast. He did not hug her back as he was left dumbfounded by her action.

Still, Astrid hugged him tighter. She didn't care about anything. She was more concerned and happy that he was alright and with her.

Her sweet scent entered his nostrils, calming down his racing heart as he finally dropped his arm and wrapped both hands round her waist, hugging her close.

"You came back. I am so glad you are safe."
