"Yeah, yeah but you still haven't answered my question, though." Dylan pried again.

"There is nothing to be answered. I AM OUT!"

"Shut up." Nova picked up the flour bag she came to get and walked away from her friend.

Evelyn who had been watching the pair and gotten a clear view of Nova and seen her once more, quickly ran way to the entrance of the kitchen as though she was just coming.

So when Nova and Dylan finally returned, thy met her by the door, about to knock. Both of them shot each other a gaze as if to say they were lucky they had not delayed there longer or someone would have heard them.

Evelyn could see te clear blush on Nova's cheeks and her jealousy returned but she was smart enough not to show it.
