Cyrena raised her hands and joined her fingers together forming a triangle in front of her lips. "I am certain. I wouldn't do anything to humiliate myself and you. As soon as I saw this opportunity, I knew it was a good stepping stone."

"Spoken like my daughter. You do your end and I'll do mine."

"Yes mother."

As soon as she finished speaking, the door knob turned and her maid entered.

"Oh.. she has arrived, let's enjoy the snacks, shall we?"

"Hmm."

Her maid entered with a tray in her hand and made her way to where the pair of mother and daughter were sitting. She put the tray gently on the table. There were two plates and two glasses on the tray, with a wine bottle. Each plate had a slice of chocolate cake on it.

She served each one to them, placing it in front of mother and daughter and serving the wine in the empty glasses. By the time she was done, she took the tray and bowed her head.

"That would be all Mia," Cyrena said with a wave of her fingers.
