Astral's Rise Part 82: Slayer

"See, there is a reason why I am the leader of this great alliance." He saw the red light from the drones signaling the action and people watching. "The Power." Astral tossed the rifle into the air as it vanished Striking three different robots shattering them into dust.

"The Speed." Astral swung his arm in a circle as he thrusted it forward creating a vortex of wind in the vacuum of space pulling in a handful of nearby robots as he pulled out the standard shotgun and unloaded the gun by slam firing all of it into them.

"The Smarts." He tapped his head as three robots jumped from behind him, the Paws striking out once more as Astral saw the viewers of the stream going upwards. Astral slid his foot across the ground creating loose gravel as he sent it flying taking out a group of robots.

"But what does all of that mean if you don't have an army to lead, people to protect?" Astral summoned the standard sub-machine guns as he saw more robots coming at him. They seemed a lot more armored as Astral opened fire on them, the bullets ricocheting off.

"Look at that, they finally adapted to small arms fire." Astral flipped upwards and pulled out their stock sniper rifle. Aiming directly at the armored one's skull. Shattering it with a single bullet.

"Even with all the skills in the world it would be useless without those who willingly follow." Astral pulled out the Murasama as he took one slash at the armored robots who fell to the ground in one motion. The robots all paused and buffered for a moment as Astral slid his katana back into the saya.

Astral watched none of the robots move for a few minutes. Something shifted below his feet as a beam of sun was launched upwards. Astral dodged it by a matter of nanoseconds as he slid to the side with the camera's. Pulling out his magnum and destroying the cores of the robots charging at him.

He twisted around and faced them, with a machine gun in one arm to cut down the robots coming at him. He unloaded the machine gun into the masses as they all fell in one swift motion. Astral had a light smile on his face as another beam of sunlight came to attack him from the core. He had to keep moving or disable it.

Astral pulled out one of the standard precision rifles as he stood still dropping all of the robots coming at him. They all fell as he pointed a hand down. The ground opened as he hovered there looking into the beam of sunlight. "Absolute ZERO!" Thrusting his downward hand into the sun he froze it.

"That solves that issue for now." Astral looked around as he grabbed two different weapons from his stash of axes. Swinging them around and dicing the robots apart. He smiled as he kept the pace. Every one of the robots melted into the ground around him as five large robots formed in front of him. "How much do we want to bet I beat them with this tiny little knife?" Astral held up Lone's dagger as a shield appeared on his other arm.

He charged at the closest one and stabbed into its leg and ripped the dagger upward. Jumping upwards and slapped the robot with the shield as he threw the dagger through the robot as it shattered. The other four charged up a beam attack as Astral stood there.

They all fired at him at the same time as Astral clapped. "Mirror." The beams were all reflected back at them with twice the power as it destroyed all four of them within seconds of the beams hitting them. Their cores removed from everything else as the body parts made thuds into the ground.

Astral looked around seeing even more robots coming after him. His hood fell as his red eyes were visible to all of them. Astral giggled a little bit as he sighed. "I was supposed to be in a hammock with my wife, not stuck here with these fucking robots." Astral stomped his foot as it shattered spikes upwards and stopped all of the robots.

"You are going to make me cry." Jaimie stood watching the fight commence in their room. She walked into the closet and looked around.

"What are you looking for?" James peered over her.

"Astral's old version of armor, that's the fifth one he has made, he made it after the battle tournament and it has special enchants. The one he used in the battle tournament is a little bit different." Jaimie looked in the closet as there was nothing in there but clothes and jewelry.

"Wouldn't that be in the safe room of all of his artifacts?" Angel commented as a boom of sound was heard and Jaimie was gone. "I'm dizzy." Angel face planted as James had his ears covered as the rung.

Jaimie typed into the vault her passcode. "One of three authorized passcodes accepted." Jaimie spun open the door and pulled the weight out from the doors as it slid open. Jaimie looked in the artifact room as most of his customized items of the past were here, his personal armory he still kept on him.

"Interesting. The training armors are along the wall and labeled as such." Jaimie walked over as she saw a handful of other cool items he has been working on, seeing his last version of armor and the crushed helmet. 'Battle Tournament' The label was covered in a golden glowing gloss as Jaimie started to grab the pieces and set them on the ground.

"He rebuilt the paws, are the old ones still connected to you?" Jaimie peered into the chestplate as Lone took a step out. The paws appeared and were slightly broken pointing behind her. She turned and saw Lone. "So he saved you in the same trick he planned to use on us if the gods denied him of the bet." The paws were freaking out as Lone grabbed the chestplate and the paws calmed down.

"Seeing as how Astral is trying to grow his collection of things I don't doubt it." Lone rested his hand on the paw's as the metal reformed as Jaimie stripped down and put on the undersuit. "This is the only place I am allowed to be on the station for now. Astral doesn't want to tell anyone else I exist or has been helping him, but he turned off your ability to be mentally attacked."

"Meaning if I know you're alive it doesn't matter as long as I keep the secret." Jaime felt crammed and stuffed into the undersuit as it slowly conformed to her size. "Whew, thank god Astral knows how to design certain things." Lone laughed a bit as the paws gave him a thumbs up for him fixing them.

"I've been working on one magical enchant, your spear was the first of my truly groundbreaking enchants with the fire aspect. But it is able to counter Astral well." Lone spoke as Jaimie gave him a glare, slipping on the first one of the boots.

"Of course you wouldn't dare attack him unless he became corrupted. Besides the fact. I have a gift for you." Lone pulled out a box for her as he set it on the ground. Jaimie saw it and Lone vanished into the pocket dimension. She put on the rest of the Armor as it was wiggling along the chest and tight everywhere else.

She bent down and opened the box as the amor shaped around her. Inside was a helmet just made for this armor. "Ah, Astral wanted a copy for himself or a gift for me." Jaimie tied her hair into a bun as Angel and James walked in. Seeing her clothes over next to the empty statue as the cyan armor turned green.

Both of the two of them were in awe as Jaimie slipped the helmet on, it was weightless and obscured none of her vision. Her bun had plenty of room to exist. Looking around she saw the different eye panels and abilities. "He overdid it this time, would you care to accompany me to the bridge?"
