In spite of my extensive research, I still feel ignorant in a number of areas.

The talent rating system is as follows:

This book won't be about ranking talent for influence, but it will serve as a Trump card for the owner. It doesn't follow that having inferior talent seals your doom to be a slave; you can still develop and get better. Higher-grade talent puts you one (or more) steps ahead of others .

This is where the story goes on to include skill books, skill mastery, and other things.
