45 Brokilone Forest

Brokilone is a primordial forest surrounded by the kingdoms of Cintra, Brugge, Sodden, and Verden. There we find dryads, goblins, and foresters. It is a dangerous place for humans as dryads tend to shoot first and ask questions after. Therefore, they hid members of the Scoia'tael during the war.

The Dryads of Brokilone are the subjects of Eithne, who dwell in a tree in Duén Canell, deep in the forest. It is forbidden to bring fire into this forest; axes and other means of injuring trees are likewise prohibited. The forest is also the place where one can find the magic plant, Conynhaela.

Brokilon Forest is a place filled with mystery and magic. Few people dared to enter this forest, and even fewer came out alive. This forest, a sanctuary for magical species, is threatened by human greed. Even with its natural strength, some people have their eyes riveted on the resources that these lands inhabit. For this reason, Eithne, the queen and protector of the forest, decided to ally with the League, using her influence to protect her domain. The League agreed to unite with Eithne.

The Council, therefore, sent an assassin to the forest to present the Alliance Baths. The Assassins, thus, sets out again in search of the forest of Brokilon with the dryad who has come to carry the message of the alliance to the League.

The principal seat of the League of Assassins is in Redania, more precisely in Novigrad, a free city. In addition, the League has small headquarters across the Northern Kingdoms called Hideouts. These hiding places are kept by a generally old master assassin who manages the hiding place to offer a place of rest, of information to the assassins. Our assassin with the Brokilon Forest Pact can be found in Verden in one of the League hideouts.

Saibus, Yennefer, and a person in a long coat hiding his appearance are seated at a table in the hall of an inn. The three are around a small table with a plate of soup each. In the inn, there are other people wearing assassin outfits. There is a weak general hubbub acting as an anti-eavesdropping barrier.

"Why we stopped there, we are a few leagues from the forest. We should have continued our walk and arrived at the forest to bring the treaty to the queen. But, instead of doing our mission, we are there to eat and drink. . " said the hooded person angrily.

"We stopped because the sun has just gone down. It is not wise to travel at night with the monsters and bandits lurking around. So stop complaining and act more like a mature person, Morénn." Yennefer declares with some venom in his voice.

"What, you are afraid of some monsters and vulgar bandits. I thought more of magicians, but apparently, any little girl can graduate." Morénn retorts with disdain.

"I'm not afraid, but I would rather stay here than having to camp in the forest or walk it at night, or I will be attacked by ghouls, bandits, or a leshen. But, on the other hand, nothing prevents you from doing so. So do, just don't come moping when ghouls eat you alive. Now that I think about it, can you go for a walk in the forest while the wolf is there? That'll be hilarious, a dead dryad in the woods. " Yennefer answers.

"The forest is my domain. I know how to live in it with luxury. It is my home, so no, I won't be devoured by ghouls, please." Morenn said smugly.

"You-" Yennefer was going to answer, but she was interrupted by Saibus.

"Stop acting like kids. Yennefer, you became a magician at 13. You experimented with your master, a great magician. While you, Morenn, are the princess of the dryads of Brokilon Forest. You should be more mature and serious than that. We have been traveling for several days. We are all tired, so stop crying at us, be patient. Besides, you are over fifty. You should be more experienced than that. You shouldn't have to lecture you like a kid. " Saibus declares wearily.

"Lastly, I don't know why you don't love each other, and I don't care. But, you have to stop fighting every chance you get because, at this point, your relationship is worse than water and oil. Still have to live together for a few days, the time to get to the forest, talk about the alliance, and sign the contract. So behave until this is over. " Saibus finished, looking firmly at his traveling companions.

The two women said no more words and continued their meals in silence. However, the two did not speak or take a single look. After dinner, they go back to their rooms, Morenn in a single room and Saibus with Yennefer in a double room. Saibus is lying on the bed with a book in his hand. The book is about the magic of enchantments. Saibus already has a certain mastery of this particular type of magic which relies on runes, thanks to his expertise in forging. However, what interests him in this book is a very particular rune, the extension rune.

The extension rune is a unique rune. It is one of the hardest to master because it requires a great capacity of magic to create it, a remarkable precision to pose it. This rune, as its name suggests, allows the object to enlarge. The rune is generally inscribed on household objects, but Saibus has another use for this rune.

He desires to engrave it on his twin swords, giving them the ability to increase their size. This ability will be a great help in a fight. He will be able to take his enemies by surprise. Saibus continues reading when interrupted by Yennefer.

"Saibus, I have a surprise for you." Yennefer declares seductively. He lowers his book and sees Yennefer at the bathroom door. Yennefer wears black lingerie. Her bra is black with sheer lace. Her panties matched her top. Black transparent tights are connected to the latter. Finally, she has a slight, delicate challenge over her shoulders.

"Looks like we're not going to get much sleep tonight." Saibus smiles and casts an anti-noise spell.

The following day, the sun's rays enter the bedroom through the slits in the shutter. The light wakes up Saibus, a little grumpy.

"Hmmm," Saibus moaned as he woke up. Saibus's vision is sprinkled with dark hair. Saibus lifts his upper body to rest against the bolster.

"Hmmmm," Yennefer felt him move and moaned. She does not wake up but rests on her chest. Saibus strokes her hair, causing a smile on Yennefer's face.

"BOOM"

The bedroom door is knocked off its hinges by an angry Morenn.

"The sun is already up. Get up. Don't start fucking again. We don't have time, and you already did enough tonight." Morenn growled. She quickly left the room because a bolt of lightning struck the air where she was.

'Great.' thinks Saibus.

The three traveling companions are on the way to Brokilon Forest. Morenn leads the way while Saibus and Yennefer are behind.

The trip goes by in silence, well, almost. Saibus and Yennefer can hear a few mumbling things but don't know what. After a few minutes of walking, they finally see the edge of the forest. Morenn then sprints in the direction of the latter. Saibus and Yennefer watch her run and enter the forest. Yennefer and Saibus finally arrive at the edge of the forest, they enter the domain of Queen Eithne. They take a few steps in this forest when Morenn accosts them on a branch with some dryads and elves.

"Welcome to Queen Eithne's land, Brokilon Forest." declares Morenn, who no longer has his usual scowl but an air of happiness and seriousness.

"Follow me. I will take you to my mother, the queen, to give her the wedding ring." Morenn finished, turning around and walking through the forest from branch to branch.

Saibus and Yennefer follow her and observe the magnificent forest. The forest is very lush. Many plants are known to humans or not, magical or not, coexist in perfect harmony. The assassin and his sorceress see incredible shades of colors, mainly consisting of green, blue and purple. They go deeper and deeper into the forest, encountering more and more different magical creatures.

They finally arrive in front of a sort of village in the trees. Houses are both in and around trees. The many living beings in the forest watch Saibus and Yennefer, wondering what a half-elf assassin and a quarter-elf sorceress can do here. Morenn leads them to the center of the village, where there is a fountain. At the edge of this fountain, a woman of ethereal beauty is seated.

The woman with long, molten silver hair cascading down her back. Her beautiful silver eyes enhance the beauty of her light green skin. A long dress hides her skin from the eyes of the people. She gets up from the fountain and walks towards her guests.

She walks with grace and elegance. His bare feet tread the soft grass of his forest.

"Hello and welcome to the brokilon forest, dear assassin, and sorceress. Follow me. We will be more comfortable in private." Said Queen Eithne gently.

YEAR:

I am faced with a dilemma. I am doing several jumps, and I do not know if I should make Saibus and Yennefer have children. I had thought of making them a boy of the same age as Ciri and that they are together. Then I had the idea that they have a daughter who will be like Ciri's little sister. So my basic idea is to make sure that they don't have a child until the end of the story.

So here are tell me your thoughts:

1) Saibus and Yennefer have a boy the same age as Ciri

2) Saibus and Yennefer have a daughter who is a few years younger than Ciri.

3) Saibus and Yennefer have a child only at the end of the story in the epilogue.
