7 Pleading

When Jin Fu went home, she decided to not go to the play field because of that girl. When she thought about that moment she shuddered involuntarily. The way that girl was asking with that face almost convinced Jin Fu to help her. But who is Jin Fu, how could she fall into her scheme. Even though it was helping to get rid of hydrophobia but she was not interested in it. Then she put thought at the back of her mind when she saw Cai Xiang.

Jin Fu had asked Cai Xiang to ask about when the traveling team leaves for the nearest town. Therefore, Jin Fu went towards Cai Xiang with expectant eyes.

"Young miss, the villagers said that the traveling team will leave around next week."

"Aunt, can I go with the traveling team to the nearest town and come back with them?"

Cai Xiang was frightened when she heard this. Then she said some words to Jin Fu in a stern voice.

"Young miss, you can't go with the traveling team and don't forget why young miss is here. The Jin family has banished you. Therefore, it is impossible to leave. Even if we somehow go with the team, who is going to take care of the house. Young miss is still a kid after all, so you can't be actually planning to travel on your own, are you?"

When Jin Fu heard this, she was startled at first. Then she cursed the useless Jin Family who is still blocking her path. Then she tried to calm down her aunt.

"Aunt, I was joking."

"Young miss, then it is alright."

Cai Xiang calmed down after hearing that.

Two days passed by in blink of an eye again. Jin Fu didn't go to the play field this past two days instead she was practicing with her stick. She wanted to recover her past skills and reflexes. She knew that it will need some time but she couldn't help it. Whenever Jin Fu is tensed, she releases the tension by practicing weaponry. Jin Fu was tensed because she could not come with a plan that will allow her to with the traveling team. Jin Fu chose a stick as her weapon for now because it was the only thing available or to say easy to get here.

Today when Jin Fu just started practicing with her stick, she heard a voice she did not want to hear.

"Fu~, so this is where you stay."

"Hello...."

Chang Ming was happy when she saw Jin Fu in Front of her. Chang Ming did a lot of hard work to find the residence where Jin Fu stays because Jin Fu was still new to this village.

"Fu, what are you doing?"

"Just practicing with the stick."

"Practicing?"

"Yes. So, can you tell me why did you come today?"

When Jin Fu asked this question, Chang Ming remembered why she was looking for Jin Fu.

"Fu~, can you please help me to get rid of the fear of water. I really want to learn."

Jin Fu thought here we go again.

"No, I seriously can't help you with that."

"Fu~, please just for today then I will not disturb you"

At that time, Cai Xiang came to the outer court because of the commotion. Cai Xiang saw that a young girl same age as Young miss was pleading for something. Cai Xiang thought what had young miss done for the girl to come at Jin Fu's home too.

"Young Miss, what do we have here? Why is this young girl pleading?"

Jin Fu was startled when she heard her aunt's voice. Then she thought that if this hopeless girl says about that incident which can't be called an incident in front of Jin Fu's eyes, her aunt might cause havoc. So before Chang Ming could even open her mouth, Jin Fu replied.

"Aunt, nothing is going on. She is just a friend I made when I went to the play field."

"Young Miss, then why she was pleading just now?"

"Ah.. that is something we had bet on and she lost. She was just saying she will not do it ever again. Right Ming...."

Chang Ming was confused by the sudden turn of events and when she saw the glare of Jin Fu, she involuntarily shuddered. Therefore, she complied to play along with Jin Fu right away.

"Yes..."

"Ming, let us go to the play field today."

"Yes..."

Jin Fu dragged Chang Ming along with her. When can Xiang saw this, she was happy because this is the first time that the young miss had made a friend in this nine years and about the bet and stuff she didn't didn't mind it because they were just nine years old after all. Nothing serious must have happened. Therefore, Cai Xiang was in a good mood.

Meanwhile, after Jin Fu made some distance from home, she had let go of Chang Ming's hand and stared at her. Chang Ming was still confused by the turn of events and the attitude change of Jin Fu.

"Fu, what just happened?"

"Listen to me carefully. I will help you today in that matter but you have to promise me one thing."

Chang Ming was happy when she heard that Jin Fu would help her. But when she heard that she had to promise something she became solemn. It was to be known that in this world promises are very sacred thing which shouldn't be broken. Jin Fu was not aware of this fact therefore she was startled to see a change in Chang Ming.

"Fu, what is the promise?"

"Promise me that you will not tell Aunt that i jumped in the river the other day."

"Ok Fu, I promise you."

Then Chang Ming beamed with a smile and asked Jin Fu " Now you can help me right. You should not back out now since I made the promise."

Jin Fu just resigned to her fate.

"Ok I will help you."
