Kephallonia Island

The Eagle soars through the land. Over trees and beautiful landscapes. Over old broken ruins. Across the sea where battleships stay put. Enjoying the morning sun. The Eagle flies around a girl sat at the top of a hoier

A rouge shouts up "oh shit face. Get down here!" kassandra who was humming and admiring her broken spear looks up. She stands up to see the man who had shouted.

Two men stand side by side. One with his arms crossed and the other with a shield on his back and a bow. They both have short hair but only one keeps a scruffy beard. "cyclops got a message for you."

Kassandra jumps down and lands on her feet, they Bend to brace the impact. Her left knee by her head and her right hand outstretched on the floor. "tell your boss he can stick it -" she starts, the red paint on her face across her eyes and on her chin making her look much more daring. If that was possible. The guy who had his arms crossed earlier, not one for words, punched her in the jaw. Causing her head to whip back in pain." that's for last week!" the other shouted. Kassandras head snaps back up, her nose now bloody. "maláka !" she looks at them both. She knew this was going to end in a fight. The young woman pulls out her sword. The man on the right of her immediately pulling out his shield for protection. The other one going straight in for the attack. Kassandras grunts and slices the middle of both men since it was unguarded, the fire that blazed from her sword caught onto the two rogues clothes, doing more unforeseeable damage. By the time a few more hits had landed and she had spartan kicked one of the men to the ground they were both defeated. Groaning in pain. The Eagle bearer stood over them with a quick laugh of content. Adjusting her arm guard. "last week? This shit happens every Week" she slowly shakes her head. "I can't keep doing this" she said. The dirt beneath her feet causing clouds of dust. She sits down agaisnt the Well, the wall of it cracked and the rope hanging off the metal pole slightly frayed in places. Her eagle flies and gracefully lands onto a post. It's wings folding into its body. "thanks for the warning" she says to her pet. The corner of her mouth turns upwards into a slight smile before it fades and her shoulders droop. She really couldn't keep doing this. She looked down at the floor. There was no hope. Nothing for her to do. She pinches the bridge of her nose and lifts up her head. The punch to the face had still hurt, no matter how hard it was.

The sound of footsteps alerted kassandra and she looked up to see a little girl running towards her. Phoibe stopped running and looked at the two men on the floor. "what happened to you?" kassandra let's go of her nose "it's nothing Phoibe, it's all taken care of now" she stated. "they cyclops again huh, hasn't he learned his lesson yet." the little girl wondered as she stepped over the mans legs. "apparently not" kassandra looks at her friend and sees her dot on the edge of a white stone wall, eating some fruit of a brown platter. "of course. Help yourself" kassandra sighs. The Eagle lands next to the little girl. It's wings outstretched as it lands. "you hungry too, ikaros?" she asks the bird. She laughs as she feeds the Eagle something which it takes in its beak full. "do you think zeus will bless me with an Eagle? Like he blessed you Kassandra?...maybe you could ask him for me?" she asks hopefully. Here it was again. She had always wanted an Eagle. She sighed and nods "ill try to put in a good word for you" she says as she stands up. The younger girls hands clasp together and she smiles relieved "finally" kassandra now leans across the wooden beam "so. What are you doing here?" she asks out of interest. "oh, I almost forgot. Markos is looking for you" Phoibe said shuffling forward a bit, her legs swinging around. "what does that weasel want now?" she asked her arms dropping by her side. "don't know. He wants you to meet him at his new house. On the vineyard" kassandra starts walking towards Phoibe "what? A vineyard!" maláka! " she somewhat yells." it's on the road to sami. He says wine will make him rich" Phoibe says, in a sad voice. Kassandras eyes keep searching Phoibes face "since when does he have a vineyard ?"her hand gestured towards her." yesterday I think "she replies." so Markos... Who owes me drachmae, is buying vineyards. With what money? "she asks trying to figure it all out." I dunno "phoibe says quickly. She was about to ask where on the road to sami was this vineyard, but she'd rather just head out on the open road and find it herself, it couldn't exactly be that hard to find.   "well, I guess I owe Markos a little visit. Thank you. Phoibe." she turns around and crossed her arms. Looking out into the distance. Ohoice jumps off the wall she had been perched on and stands by her side, her hand outstretched asking for something. Kassandra looks at the hand and just looks back up. She reaches into her pocket and pulls out a golden coin, flipping it from her thumb with her finger into the air and phoibe catches it. "i'll go tell Markos your coming" she runs off with the wooden statue of an Eagle that had been carved.

The two men who Kassandra had fought earlier begin to stir from being unconscious. They push themselves up "my head..." the rouge says. They both stand up. "you made a mistake coming here" Kassandra says. Once again she pulls out her sword. She focuses on the man without a shield. Kicking him away so she had time to focus on the guy with the big round shield. She slashed at his feet and face, finally she managed to get the bearded man to his knees. She jumps up in the air and plunges both her daggers into his head. Blood comes shooting out. She pulls them out and slashes the man across the left cheek, more blood coming from the wound. The man's head lands in a small puddle, the blood turning the water from a misty colour to a dark red.

She turns around and sees a ram just at the gate of where she lives. She quickly pulled out her bow and arrow. She felt bad for the animal but she needed to eat. Kassandra picked up the dead body by her feet. She walked down the slope of her house and past the burnt out campfire that was still producing smoke. She climbed over the small wooden fence and her feet met with long grass. Her destination? The sea. A rock just hovering over the edge of the beginning of the ocean where she could dump the body. She'd rather not have to come back to a home with bodies in her front garden.

The Eagle bearer dumps the body in the water, a little of the brown clothing sticking up out the water but nothing too noticeable. She ran back up the grassy hill and grabbed the other man, carrying him just like she had the other man moments before. When she had reached the other man his body was slouched against the wall, more specifically at the Well that she had sat at moments ago. She had kicked him into it before she had tended to defeating the other rogue. This man had a nasty cut on the back of his head and his clothes were burnt from the fire damage of Kassandras sword.

She headed back the way she came and out of her garden. She walked to the ram which she had managed to get a headshot with before it ran away, the poor thing had died instantly. It collapsed right on itself. She bent down and looted the body. Cutting the bloody fur from its bones. She collected exactly 29 soft leather and 1 raw meat. She would need much more food if she was to adventure more. But for now. It was time to go to Markos and his new vineyard. She ran over the shirt wooden bridge that was built and headed up to the house. Luckily for Kassandras it was only 311 metres away from her current position, and with her speed she would definitely reach there before nightfall.
