Rhaegar

"Prince Oberyn," he called out from on top of his steed, "I do hope you're alright." The man known as the red viper grinned up at him, "We dornishmen are made of tougher stuff." Oberyn then jumped to his feet and took the reins of his horse. "You better win, or I might not let my sister leave Dorne." Rheagar removed his helmet and smiled, "That would be quite annoying wouldn't it, I'd have to fight my way through Sunspear just to get to see her." He then spun his horse around and began riding back out of the lists, "Pray for me Oberyn. So it doesn't come to that."

He waved to the cheering crowd and smiled as he spotted Lord Crakehall talking to his three squires. He only recognised one of them, Jaime Lannister, rumours of his talent in the blade had already reached King's Landing. He had also heard that the boy was incredibly chivalrous, helping those in need.

Exiting the lists, Rhaegar dismounted and handed his horse to Myles, his squire. "Are you planning on returning to your tent, your highness?" the boy asked. Shaking his head Rhaegar began removing his gloves, "No, I shall be joining Lord Robert in the stands, I wish to see how Ser Arthur does." His squire nodded and began heading towards the smaller tent where they had set up everything he needed for the joust.

He was climbing the stairs two the highest platform when he spotted a tent, separated from the rest. It wasn't very big and looked quite dishevelled, and the flag on top of it looked like it was made by a child. He chuckled and shook his head, they wouldn't last long, even if the man were skilled, good equipment still meant something. Walking up the rest of the stairs he entered the top seats and walking past Robert patted him on the shoulder, "Are you enjoying the tourney, Lord Robert." The new Paramount of the Stormlands looked up at him and smiled, "Prince Rhaegar, indeed I am, I look forward to jousting you."

Seating himself, on a slightly larger podium, to the right of Robert, Rheagar gazed down at the two contestants that rode out onto the lists. On one side, Barristan Selmy, and on the other, Jason Mallister. Cheers erupted from the stands as the knights rode to the end of the lists, ready to charge.

The horn blew and with a roar from the crowd, the two knights rode at each other lances beared. It was over as soon as it started. Barristan's lance smashed into Jason Mllister's shield, shattering and throwing the younger knight off his horse. Jason landed on the ground with a thump, and his squire quickly stopped his horse from riding away. "Are you alright, Ser?" Barristan the Bold asked from atop his horse.

It was over an hour later when the jousting finally ended with Rhaegar's defeat to Ser Barristan. He retreated to his tent, after that, to rest and tend to his bruises. He had no intention to join the melee, which gave him some time to wander the camp.

The sun was already nearing the horizon when the squires' melee finally began. He had high hopes for both Myles and Richard. They were talented and had been trained vigorously by him and the Kingsguard. As he seated himself next to Robert Baratheon, the new lord lent over, "A hundred dragons on Jaime Lannister." Rhaegar chuckled, and his eyes slowly wandered over the squires. He knew his squires wouldn't win, not if they went up against the Lannister boy. SO he had to choose someone else, who might stand a chance. His eye quickly landed on a tall fully armoured boy, with a halberd in one hand. He couldn't sigil on him but the boy seemed strong enough, "That one!"

Robert let out a hearty laugh as he saw where Rhaegar was pointing, "Alright, your loss, your highness."
