ASOIAF: I'm No Longer A Side Character

Once, life was good. I went from an ordinary guy to a millionaire. But after I got married, everything turned terrible. Maybe I shouldn't have been so drawn to her beauty. They say behind every successful man is a woman, but in my case, it's the opposite. I had it all, but what I really wanted was a happy family, a beautiful, loyal wife, and children of my own. The woman of my dreams turned into a nightmare. Betrayal is something you can handle through divorce, but she went to extremes, like trying to sabotage my car to make me crash into a tree. If I knew this would happen, I wouldn't have married. Regret won't change anything, and still I ended up with another terrible wife in another world. And she is Rhaena Targaryen from Game of Thrones.

Chapter 2

Androw had a sleepless night, his mind filled with thoughts of the ASOIAF books. He questioned former Androw decision to marry a woman dozen year older than him. From his current perspective, Princess Rhaena Targaryen didn't seem all that special, other than being a princess for current him. He considered returning to his brother's side, although he wasn't sure if his brother would accept him.

While walking through the Dragonstone castle, Androw admired its beauty. But what bothered him most was his physical appearance, which had become puffy-faced, round-shouldered, and overweight. Determined to improve his body before escaping from the clutches of his cold-hearted wife, Androw decided to start training his body.

As Androw walked through Dragonstone, he encountered Cassella Staunton, Septa Maryam, Alayne Royce, and Samantha Stokeworth, who were close friends of Rhaena. He passed them without displaying any emotions, giving a simple nod. He could hear them whispering and making fun of him, but Androw didn't mind, as he had expected this.

Making his way to the training ground on Dragonstone, he also noticed the guards near the barracks looking down on him with disdain. They saw him as insignificant. When Androw reached the training ground, a knight called out to him, saying, "Hey, fatty, have you forgotten the way to the kitchen?" The other knights joined in laughter, mocking Androw.

Though there was a storm of emotions inside him, Androw hid it well. He found a corner and started exercising, paying no attention to the mockery and laughter of others.

The next morning, Rhaena returned to Dragonstone from Storm's End, seething with anger. Androw was careful to keep his distance from her during that time. They didn't meet for a whole week. He stuck to his daily workout routine without skipping a day.

After a week, he decided to delve into the books in Dragonstone's library. It proved to be a headache, not being able to read them all. It was as expected for someone looked down upon by everyone. Androw came to realize that the previous Androw had wasted his time at the Citadel trying to learn. He was determined to persist with his limited abilities.

During the day, he tirelessly worked out and spent his time with the books. Even when Rhaena called for him, he made excuses, saying he wasn't feeling well. Septa Maryam, one of Rhaena's friends, noticed Androw avoiding Rhaena's summons and mentioned to her, "Lady Rhaena, I believe Androw has changed significantly from his previous self." This comment irked Rhaena, and she inquired, "And what makes you say that?" Septa Maryam explained, "Since the last argument between you and him, he's been acting completely differently. He's become more silent and expressionless. Most of his time is spent either in the training grounds or in the library." Rhaena responded, dismissing her concerns, "No need to worry about him. In time, he'll revert back to his old self. All he craves is my acknowledgment."
