43 Westeros Once Again

Year 846

Dragonstone, AOT World

They gather within Aegon's garden in Dragonstone. Named after The Conqueror himself, Aegon's garden is located near the arch of the Dragon's Tail. Tall pine trees grow in the garden, giving it a pleasant piney smell which blends well with the wild roses, towering thorny hedges, and the small cranberry bog that also grows within.

As requested by Rhaenys herself, they all wear their finest clothes in the colors of House Targaryen, though Jaehaerys and Aemon wear more black accented by red as opposed to the vibrant red accented by black which Aegon, Daenerys, and Rhaenys wear.

With their matching clothes and hair, black with streams of silver-white, Jaehaerys and Aemon easily pass off as twins. This effect is further amplified by their posture, a laid back stance with their left hand resting upon the pommel of their swords, and the roguish air that clings to them.

"Sevens bless us, there are two of them." Aegon japes with a grin as he stares between Aemon and Jaehaerys.

"There always were two of them." replies Daenerys with a roll of her eyes. "Perhaps it is because they are the same person, but despite having lived two completely different lives somehow they both ended up as rogues." she remarks.

"Rogues?" questions Jaehaerys with a raised eyebrow.

"Scoundrel, villain, reprobate, wretch. Take your pick of definition, it matters not. You are both rogues." says Aegon.

"We know what rogue means Aegon. We simply wonder how you came to that conclusion." replies Aemon, to which Aegon merely raises an amused eyebrow.

Rolling his eyes, Aemon ignores his older brother and turns his attention to Rhaenys who has been relentlessly staring at his face since she laid her eyes on the eyepatch.

"Use your words sister, the glaring is becoming uncomfortable." says Aemon.

"Prior to the eyepatch one could easily mistake you for a proper gentleman of a prince, but now…now even a blind man will see you for what you are. A rogue. Are you in some way planning to compete with Prince Daemon on which of you is the most villainous?" Rhaenys asks.

"I do not think that the comparison is as flattering as you meant it to be." Aemon replies with a frown.

"Truly?" Rhaenys asks with a raised eyebrow. "I think it fitting at the very least. The most experienced warrior of his time and wielding a Valyrian steel blade. A dragonrider whose dragon is cunning and ferocious, declared himself the King of the Stepstones and dashing, daring, and dangerous. That sounds oddly familiar to me." says Rhaenys with a smirk.

"Are you quoting Maester Yandel to me?" asks Aemon with a raised eyebrow.

"If that is the case then she is missing key descriptors of the Rogue Prince, mercurial and quick to take offense." Jaehaerys says as he matches Rhaenys' smirk. "Our Lord Snow is quite contemplative as opposed to Lord Fleabottom."

"The Old Gods take you Jae." Aemon says as he attempts to slap Jaehaerys in the back of the head, only for him to dodge with a chuckle.

"Now that Rhaenys has mentioned it, the two of you hold far too many similarities to the more villainous members of our house. Queen Visenya, Daemon Targaryen, Bloodraven… all wielders of Dark Sister and the terrors of their time. Perhaps it is the sword." Aegon comments with amusement lighting his eyes.

"Aemon does not wield Dark Sister." Daenerys points out.

"Mayhaps not, but he is as infatuated with it as its wielder to the point where he has reforged Longclaw to better resemble it." Aegon remarks

"Which begs the question," Jaehaerys says as he turns to Aemon "Why?" he asks

"I wielded Dark Sister for a time during my Long Night. It felt more welcoming in my hands as opposed to Long Claw." Aemon replies. "I theorize that there is more to Valyrian Steel blades and weapons than we know. Unfortunately that knowledge is most likely lost with the Doom."

Before any of the others can reply to Aemon's statement the sound of approaching footsteps alerts them to the new arrivals.

Walking towards them is Percy, garbed in the similar clothes as Aemon and the other Targaryens; though where their clothes contain dragon scale patterns his possess the patterns of a sea serpent, and where their clothes are black and red, his are a sea green that brings out his eyes and a black that matches his hair.

"Dude, this is way more comfortable than I thought. For some reason I thought that I'd be tight, itchy, or just uncomfortable." Percy says as he checks himself.

"Why you would have that misconception is beyond me." Aegon says.

"To be fair when I think of nobles I imagine stuffy assholes with sticks up their ass wearing stuffy clothes. Although I don't mean you guys. You guys are cool." Percy explains, causing the group to laugh.

"You're not wrong. Court is filled with such individuals." Daenerys says, causing Percy to nod before he turns to Aemon.

"So, why am I here again?" he asks.

"Today was meant to be the beginning of your tutorship under me, and since I have an event to attend I thought it fitting to take the opportunity to educate you on the nuance of politics." Aemon explains.

"Is that why some of your Wild Hunt is at Camp right now training the others instead of you?" Percy asks.

"Aye." replies Aemon as they walk deeper into Aemon's Garden and stop before a massive gate carved with the motifs of many of Westeros' Houses, such as the three headed dragon of House Targaryen, the direwolf of House Stark, and the sun of House Martell.

"So that's a world travel gate." Percy mutters to himself. "I got one from the chat group gacha, but I haven't used the card since I don't know how it works." he says.

"Hmmm, when it is first activated it will request you to set a default location from which you will appear. And every activation after shall send you as near to that location as possible without drawing attention to your arrival. How it knows where there will be witnesses or not is beyond me." Aemon explains as the gate turns into a swirling blue portal.

Without further delay the group steps through the portal, finding themselves appearing within an empty alley in King's Landing.

"Wow." Percy says as they step out of the alley. "Annabeth would love to be here just for the architecture!" he exclaims.

"Does architecture excite her?" Rhaenys asks.

"Oh yeah. She loves it so much that her dream is to build something permanent. 'A monument to last a thousand years' she says." Percy quotes.

"Is that so? Do you think she would be interested in designing a city?" Daenerys asks as Aegon leads them through the densely populated city.

"Definitely. Especially since it's a city that's still growing. At least I think it's still growing. She mentioned something about infrastructure and how it correlates to a growing city's architecture. She could explain it better than me." Percy remarks as he looks at a building still under construction.

As they continue to walk through the city the group makes conversation regarding each other's interests, exchanging stories on childhood moments and humorous pastimes.

Though as they draw closer to their destination they notice more and more knights of various houses throughout the realm, and noblemen and ladies trafficking throughout the city as if anticipating an event.

"Did you not say that we would miss the Heir's Tourney?" Daenerys asks Aegon.

"I thought that we would. When we left Westeros for Paradis the Tourney was two days away. We spent a day in Percy's world and two in Paradis; it should already be finished, or the very least on its last day." Aegon replies.

"Perhaps it is on its last day and they are anticipating the coronation." Rhaenys suggests.

"We shall find out soon enough." Aegon says as they stop before a building guarded by two men in black plate armor and gold cloaks.

"Prince Daemon has been searching for you my lord." says one of the Gold Cloaks as he sees Aegon approaching.

"Well I am here now, Ser Humfrey. Is he in his solar?" asks Aegon

"Yes my lord." the knight replies as he opens the door for them.

Entering the building, the group follows Aegon as he leads them to the third fourth floor of the building, greeting many of the Gold Cloaks who also greet him in return.

"Ladies and gentlemen, King Aegon the sixth of his name. Merchant extraordinaire and good friend of the City Watch." japes Aemon, though he receives none of the laughter he expected of them save from Aegon himself.

Despite finding it odd Aemon does not press the issue and instead files their reaction away for a later time.

Soon enough the group finds themselves before an ornately decorated door which Aegon knocks up and enters without awaiting an invitation.

"Aegon, you are late." says a voice from within that makes Aemon temporarily stop for he recognises the voice. He's dreamt of the owner once, while suffering from the effects of the Blood Purifying Pill.

"Forgive me Prince Daemon, my brothers take as long as maidens to prepare." japes Aegon as he barely dodges both Jaehaerys and Aemon's slaps to the back of his head.

As the group file into the room, Aemon looks upon the man himself. Dashing, daring, and very dangerous. Donning black plate armor with the Targaryen sigil on his chest, and a Dark Sister at his hip, the man looks ethereally handsome and gives off the air of a very dangerous man. The very definition of a rogue if there ever was one stands before him, Prince Daemon Targaryen, Lord Fleabottom, Prince of the City, The Rogue Prince, and no doubt many other unflattering titles

"No need for apologies, the tourney has yet to begin." dismisses Daemon as he sits behind his desk.

"Prince Daemon, I would like to introduce you to my sister, Rhaenys, and the twins, Aemon and Jaehaerys." says Aegon as he presents them, with Rhaenys the only one affording him the respect of a prince with a curtsy.

With a raised eyebrow Daemon regards Aemon and Jaehaerys with a raised eyebrow, his eyes taking in their clothes and posture before swiftly moving to their left hands which rest upon the pommel of their swords; one shaped in the likeness of a white direwolf with blood red eyes and the other in the shape of a flame.

"Not showing proper etiquette to a prince is punishable by a harsh flogging." says Daemon.

"Is that so?" remarks Aemon, causing Aegon to smile.

"Your brother did say that you are impertinent." Daemon says. "If your abilities are even a third of what your brother claims I will be willing to overlook it, if not then prepare to be flogged." he warns, causing Aemon to look at Aegon with a raised eyebrow, to which Aegon merely shrugs.

"Come sit. We have much to speak of." Daemon says as he gestures to the seats before his desk.
