8. Getting A Students ID Card

The audience gasped when they saw pich black spikes piercing Flakes limbs and abdomen. There is a strict rule to not kill the other participant, so I made sure not to hit any of her vital spots.

There was a huge black spike piercing her abdomen and other spikes piercing her hand and thights.

I looked at the host, who was also baffled about what just happened, but he soon regained his composure as a professional. It didn't take him long to announce me as the winner.

It will take the medical team a moment before they arrive here, so I waited a bit since if I retracted the spike, she would bleed out on the spot. Knowing that she was comparative as she calmed herself down and tried to make her breathing stable.

She didn't have to wait long as the medical team got here. They feeded her to high-grade recovery and healing potions. After that, I retracted my spikes and let them do their thing as I walked away.

After a few days, I came back to the Academy and saw that Flake was fine. Even though she lost her last fight to me, she was still able to be in the third grade as winning wasn't the only thing they were evaluating. They mostly gave points for how the participants performed during a fight, and I can guess she showed off enough in the previous two battles.

We were back in the arena, but this time, the spectators' seats were taken by the students as the headmistress was in the fighting ring, giving a long and boring speech. While we had to endure the horrible tortures of the sun rays. I swear that if most students didn't protect themselves with a mana shield, they would have passed out.

She was calling one student after another into the fighting ring that served as a stage and was giving them they're students ID card with words of congratulations. I was one of the last students to be called as my ranking was high, and I was a third grade student.

After my codename was called out, I heard the whole. Arena quieted down, and only wishpers could be heard. I dislike being the center of attention, so I quickly shook hands with the head misterss and grabbed my student ID, and hurriedly fled.

After the speech, we each were given our class schedule. But I didn't even bother to look at it since I won't be attending any classes since it isn't necessarily. All you need to do to not get dropped out is do the four written exams correctly when the time comes. So I don't need to attend the classes. I will just come when the written exam is held.

When the first semester arrived, there were even more rumors about me as I didn't attend classes. Heck, I wouldn't even know about the rumors if I wasn't passing the school halls to get to the library.

One day, on my way to the library, someone stopped me it was Flake. " Let's have a remach. "

' Why the f*** should I you crazy woman ' What is this, I don't want to have anything to do with her. " No." After saying that, I went around her as she was blocking my path, but she grabbed my wrist.

" You have no right to hold me here. Now that things didn't go your way, princess, are you going to force me ? " I said with a cold tone.

When her grip eased, I pulled my wrist out immediately and started walking away. I don't want to have anything to do with her. She's as crazy as her older sister Catherine Frost.

Catherine Frost is the first princess of the Frost Empire as well as the next in line to the throne. From my information, their parents were always a bit distance, so she felt lonely that why she doted on her sister too much, making her think that everything would go her way. Now that she can't say ' My sister will make you pay ', she doesn't know what to do and then uses violence.

Trough that doesn't mean that I pity them in any way even through their personality developed thanks to the environment they are indeed arogant bitchs they have it in they're blood.

Just like me and the other royalty, we have personality traits that mostly stuck with us. Luckily for her, if she doesn't push me, I don't think I will hold a grudge agents her. That is one of Blake's family traits. We care less, and we mostly don't give a damn. It's also widely known that as long as you don't poke us, we won't even look your way.

After a while, I arrived at the library like I always did. One of the things I like to do is to read the whole libraries and get a lot of knowledge. Most of the high-ranking people in empires develop a perfect memory, and thanks to that, some of them surpass scholars. That especially goes for our empires' high-ranking individuals.

Before I came back in time, I also developed a perfect memory, and when I already did it, it wasn't that hard to do it again in this life. That's why I'm reading these books. Because back then, when I attended the academy, I still didn't develop a perfect memory. And I already have a lot of books from a lot of libraries if im counting myself before I came back. That's why it would be such a pity not to have the Academys library in my head. Now reading books become more like a collection for me then knowledge.

I went to my usual spot and sat on the windowsill rather than on the small table that seemed so out of place as all of the other tables in the library were much bigger. ' They probably forgot this table when they were changing the furniture. '

Well, I don't blame them this is at the corner of the library, and nobody comes here. I wonder how Astra found me back then. Thinking about him, he probably watched my fights.

Before I could think anymore, I decided to stop as I started to read the book at hand. I spent the whole day in the library. When I looked out of the window, it was already dark, but I still didn't feel tired as I put back the book I just finished reading and started to read another one. It was dark in the library, but like I said before, I can see without light.

After I took another book out of this library and went back to the windowsill, I heard very quiet footsteps, and I noticed them only after they were quite close. ' But how ? They closed the library, and they even turned off the lights. Who in the world would come here this late. '

I didn't have to wait long before I got the answer as a ball of white light lited at the beginning of the bookshelf that was about 8 meters away from me, and I saw the familiar mask. It was Astra.
