As soon as the recorder stopped playing "Target 657"
Steven and Jake heard a faint footstep coming behind them and when both of them turned around to face the footsteps they saw the unmistakable attire of a warden
A hooded figure with a black trenchcoat black fitting jeans with combat boots and the katana that was carried as a sign of their ranking among the wardens.
Both of them looked at the coming figure and felt shivers down their spines not because he felt dangerous but there was an air around him that made him feel different than the rest and the katana he was holding seemed different than the rest of the warden.
"What is the meaning of this? Why have you called us out here?" Questioned Steven stone.
"All will be answered Mr.Stone but for now step aside I have business with your assistant Mr.Jake Ridher." came the simple answer of the hooded figure.
"What sort of business may I ask ?" Questioned Steven Stone fearing for the worst outcome.
"The sort of business we wardens always do" came the simple answer from the warden.
Steven clenched his fist knowing fully well what he meant he was lost in deep thought as the warden came towards them and he can see the terrified expression of his old friend Jake and he questioned what did he do for the wardens to come after him as he knew Jake fully well and knew he couldn't do anything wrong so finally he calmed his nerve and stepped between his friend and the warden.
"Stop there warden I request you to stop and listen to my side of the story" said Steven Stone in a rather commanding manner
"Move aside Mr.Stone for I have no business with you right now " came the reply of the warden as he continued walking toward
"St-Steven" came the weak and frightened voice of his friend Jake
"Jake I'll ask you this and please be true to me what did you do ? And can I trust you ? " Came the rather simple question from Steven
"Steven both of us have known each other for ages and you know fully well I gave my all for Hoenn and I don't know why the wardens are after me! Please belive me" came the reply from Jake
Steven kept quite for a moment and reached out into his pocket and pulled out a pokeball .
"I as the champion of Hoenn demand you to stop warden and return back and re check your target as you have clearly made a mistake" told Steven with a stern voice
The warden clearly not impressed by the way the champion acted continued walking
"Do not interfere Steven stone" came the reply of the warden
"Make me Go metagross" Shouted Steven stone as he send out his ace
"You leave me no choice go buddy" came the voice of the warden as he threw out his pokeball
Out from the ball came a steel behemoth
"AGGROOOOOOON" shout the wardens Pokemon as both Pokemon locked eyes
"Metagross quickly go for a brick break" Steven gave to command and metacross fist glee white and it rushed aggron at an astounding speed
"Aggroon quickly protect and than brick break it to the ground" Called out the warden
As soon as the metagross hit agroon it's fist was repelled by a green shield and before it could do anything agroon slammed the metagross to the ground " still not done that is to be expected out of a champions Pokemon" thought warden
"Quickly get up!" Exclaimed Steven
"Don't let it hold it still and pummel it With fire punch and brick break now" came the wardens order
But sadly for metagross Aggroon reacted too quickly to the wardens order and before it could get up agroon with its foot stomped and pressed down the metacross making it stay in place and one of the agroon fist was covered in fire while the other glowed white and the Massacre began as agroon started to pummel away at the metacross as the metacross was being beaten by the behemoth which looked like it was planning to make the metacross into a tin can.
Steven watched in disbelief as his ace was being outpowerded by an agroon and he knew fully well if he resisted more the warden might end up killing his metagross
"Fine I conceded please stop it !" Came the plead of the champion of Hoenn
"Aggroon stop it" came the wardens order
Aggroon was about to slam into the metacross with all its strength with all its might but stopped and let out steam from its mouth and walked away leaving a bruised metagross
"Please warden let's be reasonable Jake is not dangerous I beg you he has a family I can vouch for him ... Please let him have a fair trial he's my old friend " came the desperateplead of the champion as he was down.
"Steven Stone I shall turn a blind eye this time for you trying to stop a warden from doing his task but your so called friend Jake is already dead along with his family said the warden" in a cold chilly tone
"What what do you mean ? You are joking right? Jake is right here how can it be He has been with me for years now hahah very funny warden" came the reply of Steven as he thought the warden was joking around.
"Do not move if you dare moving a muscle I will cut your legs here and now and watch you bleed and die out am I clear?" Quickly threatened the warden as he saw Jake trying to flee
Jake feeling the threat couldn't even think of running anymore as he knew fully well that the warden can easily do what he said he would
The warden moved towards a shocked and puzzled Steven and handed him 3 picture " exactly 3 months ago a container close to the Hoenn regions lake and inside it were 3 ummm no 4 bodies .... All of them had their faces burnt so they couldn't be recognised and were missing body parts some hand some legs some organs list goes on but running a forensic on the bodies the bodies were identified as Mr.Jake Ridher the 2nd body was Ridhers son who my ditto was transformed into to lure you guys out 3rd was Mrs Ridher who was molested before she died." Came the sad and ugly truth from the warden
Which made Steven the calm and collected champion vomit and feel sick looking at the pictures of his old friend and his old family member but many question were on his mind why ? Who ? When ?
"Wait a min you said 4 who was the 4th body?" Asked Steven
" The unborn daughter of Mr Jake they were expecting a daughter soon" came the reply
"Look and answer me Mr Stone do you still want me to carry out my duties or do you want me to stop ?" Questioned the warden
The Champion felt rage and ashamed "aren't you gonna question him and look for answer on who the real culprit is ?" Questioned Stone
The fake Jake found a way to be safe and quickly talked "I'll tell you everything I know only and only if you guarantee my safety"
But all came hopes came down crushing down for Jake with a simple reply
"No because I already know " from the warden
Like his hopes so did his head as with a quick slash from the wardens katana at inhuman speed and accuracy as the katana black blade were drenched with red blood
Steven shocked at not even the slight hesitation of killing a person and the speed but the most shocking thing was the black blade which marked his rank among the wardens
"Black blade indicating the founding warden" the words came out of the the champion as the warden walked away carrying the head of Jake which slowly started dissolving and changed into its original owners head
