31. 6 years later.

You know that feeling you have when you are about to begin a new school, you feel shy and a bit embarrassed sometimes a little bit sad, anxious of how it is all going to turn out,

|.... Well I ain't feeling any of that.... |

I feel kinda Happy?

"young master Ascimos your carriage has arrived"

"thanks aunt Lia but I won't be needing it" 

Having finished dressing up I took out a skateboard which I had made a few years back from under my bed and zoomed out of the room

*I feel goood*

I sang as I skateboarded inside the house wearing a big smile on my face

"hey, Ascimos watch it!!! " 

Sir Fred yelled as he nearly dropped a glass vase which he was cleaning as I zoomed past him

"Sorry!!!"

*screeched*

That was the sound my skateboard made as I came to a stop outside the mansion

"good morning mom, good morning aunt Rachel"

I said as I hugged my mom and gave aunt Rachel a handshake 

"my little boy's all grown up!!!"

Mom whined as she tried to hold herself back from crying

"Ascimos take this" 

Aunt Rachel handed me a bronze crest that had a ram drawing and a golden crest with an eagle's drawing

"what's this for" 

I asked

"you may not have known but I also gave one to Subaru, incase anyone's looking for trouble just fling it at that face" 

"okay, I will keep that in mind" 

I said as I kept the two crests in my bag

"Ascimos, if you need anything don't hesitate to call, I have your toothbrush, your clothes for the next 3 months.. your..." 

"mom?"

I called out

"it's gonna be fine, I am 11 now,you know, I won't be needing all this things, the school is gonna arrange all that I would need" 

I removed myself from my mom's embrace as I reassured her that everything's gonna be fine

"see you soon" 

I waved them goodbye as I began skating

"what about the carriage?"

Aunt Rachel asked

"I know how to get there myself!!!"

I yelled as I passed through the gate that was already opened by uncle Withward as I gave him a high five. 

"bye uncle Withward" 

"bye... Ascimos" 

He replied as he locked the gate behind me

"alright time to get back to work" 

Rachel said as she patted her sister on the back reminding her that they have important business to attend to. 

It's  been 6 years since Subaru left for school, and boy did I miss him, it was only because of the company of the attendants and Mits

|... Who by the way i haven't seen since morning.... |

That I was able to scale through. 

Oh... I almost forgot to mention....

I said subconsciously as I smiled, skating through the town of Belleceprochai

As I greeted all the town's folk, once I became 8 I was allowed to go out of the mansion from time to time, 

"hey!!! Sir Mateo, how's business going?" 

I asked while passing his stall, 

"business is going great, thanks for that new food recipe" 

"no problem" 

"good day, Mr Magic man" 

I said sarcastically as I passed the man that was performing magic by the road side

"still only one trick you can do" 

I teased him

"at least I am getting better at it" 

He replied

"good morning Mrs Carlos" 

"good morning Ascimos, where are you off to in this hour?" 

"to school!!!" 

I raised up my hands in excitement 

"oh it is that time of the year again" 

"you ever seen anybody that's happy to be going to school?" 

Mr Carlos asked, as he flipped through the daily newspaper 

"not really" 

His wife replied

"will you look at that, the emperor's daughter is also starting school this year, but the name of the school wasn't disclosed, guess it's confidential" 

"well they must have their reason, considering what happened to her mother, I can still remember when the emperor was still a little upstart" 

Mrs Carlos commented 

"yeah, nice kid" 

Mr Carlos said 

Finally, I can leave home for a valid reason, I was tired of mostly being alone, 

|... Don't misquote me though, I was happy at home, I just needed a breath of fresh air.... |

"so good" 

I happily said as the morning wind blew through my face

"Look what you've done" 

|.... Huh? What's that.... |

"I am sorry sir please, let me help you in carrying the goods back" 

|.... Seems like someone's in trouble... |

I said as I tried to quietly pass them without making a noise 

"no, no you must pay for this, and if you can't you are going to pay by extra labor" 

"but sir, I can't spend more time here, I am very sorry, but I need to be going to the imperial Academy now" 

"good day sir, what is the matter?" 

|... Guess it can't be helped... |

I decided to help as I held my skateboard looking at the guy who got himself into this pickle. 

Just who was he?
