Chapter 1 - Entering the academy

A young man was lying on his bed, staring at the ceiling of his room.

"I'm finally going to be able to get into the academy..." said the young man as he sighed and recalled the great difficulties he had until that day, the boy remembered the lack of money and the loneliness he suffered during the last years.

The name of this young man is Leon, a 16-year-old orphan who wandered through the city of red rocks for the past 10 years, Leon slept on the street and, in order to survive, he had to look for any kind of job, even some extremely dangerous jobs like picking herbs in a forest near the city.

For the past 3 years he has collected all the money he could to pay for his enrollment in the city's academy, the Academy of Red Rocks. Where he would finally have access to cultivation methods and, depending on his performance, even cultivation resources.

After dispersing those thoughts and focusing on the present, Leon quickly got up from his bed and looked around his extremely battered room, with numerous cracks, and fetched his bag of money, containing his tuition, and put on the most presentable clothes he had.

After walking about 15 minutes to the city center, he glimpsed a large campus with several buildings and a large golden gate. Upon seeing the gate he approached and checked out the interior of the academy, he was somewhat amazed to see hundreds of students enrolling in the academy, some had luxurious clothes, and others carried the hopes of their families to own a cultivator in your family.

Leon approached and joined the queue, after waiting for 2 hours he was still anxious and excited, this little wait clearly did not affect the happiness he was feeling.

"Next!" shouted the middle-aged man in charge of enrollment.

Leon approached and soon paid his fee and received some instructions, with the payment of tuition in addition to the right to the cultivation methods of the academy, he would also have the right to accommodation, classes in various disciplines and access to the library.

This last benefit made him extremely excited, because as an orphan he never had time to worry about certain things and his knowledge of the world is as small as a frog at the bottom of a well, but maintaining his excitement he went to check out the gym facilities, and soon realized that there are 3 main buildings: the alchemy tower, the combat training arena and the building where forge classes take place.

After circling the entire campus, the sun was setting and he decided to check his dormitory. When he got there he noticed that it was a simple room with a bed, a lamp and a small table, after saving his belongings, he quickly fell asleep.
