26 Train, Master, Look for Trouble.

Marcus now had a weapon, but he didn't know how to use it. Now he has two choices. First, he can self-study with the library, or he can take classes in the Academy.

He was already self-studying Eternal Snake Fist, and his goal would be to incorporate Jörmungandr to it. So it would be fine if he can learn only the basics.

With the basics, he will be able to meager them with the Eternal Snake Fist slowly.

In the morning Marcus didn't go to his class. He instead found the building where he can sign for additional classes.

Founding one that is covering the basics he signed in for it. That class will start in an hour until then Marcus searched for Jörmungandr in the library, what he found was a big surprise to Marcus.

God's, Giants, Ragnarok, the stories were fantastic, what he didn't expect was that they were real. In a different world Jörmungandr was a giant serpent, and after it was slain, its body and mind were forged into the dagger he now holds.

Maybe one day he will be able to see that works for himself.

Marcus quickly found the classroom for the basic weapon handling, inside there were not many people. Everyone was focused on their training; the teacher was walking around the classroom and observing his students, praising them, correcting sometimes, overall he seemed like a good teacher.

"Teacher Kong."

Finally noticing that Marcus came in, Teacher Kong walked up to him.

"You must be Marcus. Welcome."

"Was I late by much?"

Since the class was already ongoing, Marcus assumed that he was late.

"No, you are on time, we usually start a bit earlier so you can train a bit longer. But don't worry you don't have to come in earlier. Now, tell me what do you want to learn."

With a smile on his face, Teacher Kong answers his question. It looks like he is an excellent teacher. With nothing to hide Marcus showed Jörmungandr.

"First I want to learn how to use a dagger."

Marcus wasn't scared to show Jörmungandr to people; If they try to take it away from him, he can give it to them and then recall it back whenever he feels like it. But he won't show all of the abilities of it to anyone.

Seeing the dagger teacher Kong instantly knew that it's extraordinary. But with one glance he saw that it had a deep connection with Marcus. As a teacher, he can't take anything from a student, and considering Marcus's identity he wouldn't dare too.

Forgetting all of the thoughts about the dagger he focused and started to explain to Marcus how to properly use a dagger.

Teacher Knog was dumbfounded, Marcus was learning at such high speed, there was no one that could compere with him. He told him once how to do something, and Marcus would be able to do it, Correct him once, and Marcus Would never make that mistake ever again.

The class lasted for five hours, and at the end of it, Marcus has almost mastered the basics.

The next day Marcus came back and continued to train, and soon he mastered the basics completely. But Marcus wasn't finished, he asked teacher Kong to show him the basics as well, not wanting to reveal that Jörmungandr can change its size, he picked up a training sword and started to practice.

Marcus himself was surprised at how fast was his progress was. When he was self-learning the Eternal Snake Fist it took him relatively short time as well.

The reason doesn't matter much, so Marcus didn't bother himself with it and continued with his practice.

In the next five days, Marcus only came for teacher Kong classes, within this time he mastered the basics of spearmanship and swordsmanship.

With this, he can slowly start to incorporate them into the Eternal Snake Fist to create a new technique, one that is unique to him.

Thanking teacher Kong Marcus left the classroom, from now on he will train by fighting others and will evolve Eternal Snake Fist.

But Marcus was facing a much more severe problem. His cultivation is slowing down. The amount he gets from each practice is still the same, but he needs 261 to equal stage eight expert, and it will be very soon. But to equal stage nine expert he will need 341 energy!

It will take him about two months if he continues at his current pace. If he stops to train it can be reduced to a month. But there are just too many things he needs to do.

The only other option is to find items that have lightning attribute energy in them and absorb it.

Last time he wanted to find a way to earn money, he ended up at the black whale.

This time he will seriously look for a way to earn something. He maybe should ask someone. Deon?

It's the only person that he talked to here that isn't a teacher.

But he will do that tomorrow, today he will start his training. It was time to revisit the training grounds. If he can't find a suitable target to provoke, or none will provoke him, he will just ask someone to spar with him.

Entering the training grounds, Marcus realized that something was wrong. Usually, there are people everywhere, training and generally doing their own thing.

But today everyone is gathered around the stage. From where he was he could hear the sound of the fight. Scanning the area, he found that people fighting are stage seven experts.

Walking closer he was able to see who is fighting. To his surprise, it was one of his classmates from the Hunters Guild Program! And it looked like she is losing.

It is a perfect situation for Marcus. He will use the excuse of her loss and challenge the guy that won.

"Where is Marcus!"

Oh… it looks like his luck is good today. That guy is actually looking for him.

"I told you, he didn't show up for days now!"

"I'm here!"

Shouting as loud as he can, Marcus walked up to the stage. With a smile on his face, he looked at the guy. He had no idea who he is, but since he is after him, Marcus will gladly welcome him.
