51 A Weird Pair.

"Everyone. Move." With Admiral Kong speaking up everyone snapped out of their shock and started to move again.

"Lieutenant Garey, come with me to my office."

"Yes, sir."

Admiral Kong's office was small, with only a desk, chair, and a few cabinets. Lieutenant Garey gave his report.

"Lieutenant Garey, what do you think about these two?" asked Admiral Kong, looking at the picture on his desk, there was confusion in his eyes. From the looks of it, Profesor Johnson was right, and someone came to Gaia through a gate. But… they are two kids.

"Sir. I think there is something wrong with those two." He then told all the things that he found not normal about the two, from the phone he used to magnetic boots and even the black eyes that he wasn't sure he saw.

"It does sound weird. I will get the medical team to do a full body scan. That is all for now. Dismissed." Admiral Kong thought what to do now; he should secure the island, and send a science team to scan it. He will also talk with the two.

The screen on his arm flashed. Pressing on it he received the message from the bridge. Professor Johnson took a shuttle and came here.

"Bring him to the bridge; I will meet him there."

At the bridge, he quickly ordered everything that he decided on, and as soon as he finished, Professor Johnson came. He looked like a wreck, his clothes were a mess, and his cheeks sunken. He looked like a walking skeleton.

"Professor Johnson, are you feeling alright?"

"Yes Admiral Kong, but I'm not here to talk about my health. You caught the two from the island, right? Where are they? Can I talk to them?"

"We secured two people, right now they are going through a full body scan. And if you want you can join me when I will be questioning them." Admiral Kong knew that Profesor Johnson wants to ask them about the gate and how it works. And since he knows more about it then him, it will be beneficial to have him there.

Twenty minutes later, Doctor Voz came to the bridge with the results. Her face was ashen, and her pitch black hair made it look even more white.

"Doctor Voz. What took so long?" a full body scan takes around two minutes to make, and he requested it more than thirty minutes ago.

"I'm sorry sir, we repeated the scan multiple times to make sure that the results are correct."

"Show us the results then."

With a swipe on her tablet, she sent the information to the holographic table. A digital version of Marcus and Xiao Mei appeared above the table. Around them floated charts and blocks of text. Doctor Voz started to explain the results.

"Let's start then. The DNA scan confirmed that both of them are human. But their bodies are very different from a normal human. In both of them, we found that they are giving a small amount of radiation. But we were not able to find why. The girl, Xiao Mei, had the same body structure as any human, we found that her abdomen was recently badly damaged, but it all healed. What's wrong is that her body may have the same structure, but is much stronger than an average man, approximately... by five times."

"Five times?! That's impossible! Even the super soldier serum could only give a person twice the strength! And there were still many side effects!" Professor Johnson exclaimed.

"Are you sure?" Asked Admiral Kong.

"Yes, we repeated the scan three times, and we asked her to lift 300 kilo supply container to confirm it. We made a recording of it."

"300?!" Professor Johnson couldn't believe it! He was looking at the video, and he saw a girl smaller than him by a head lift a container that he wouldn't be able to move an inch.

"What about the other one?" Admiral Kong had a hard time believing Doctor Voz, but those are facts. With evidence to support them at that.

"The boy, Marcus, his body is covered with faint scars; they make up 30 percent of his skin surface. His strength is at a very average level, but what's unusual about his body are his eyes and organs. His DNA confirmed that he is a human, but his body structure is very different from a human. We found organs that were missing and organs that we never saw before, we weren't sure about their functions, but he said that they are used to make a special molecule and energy that allows him to regenerate quickly. With his permission, we checked if he is telling the truth. Starting with a needle, we found that the wound was gone by the time we wiped the blood off. Going one step further he willingly cut his hand. Here is the recording."

A next recording started, on it, Marcus was holding a scalpel in one hand, while the other one was strapped-in to a chair. He then made a small cut on his palm; blood started to flow. The cut was deep, and they could see a bone for a moment. But they weren't able to look at it for too long as the wound closed by itself, and in a matter of seconds, the only evidence left of it was the blood left on the palm.

It was getting too hard to believe, but his eyes weren't lying to him. In less then five minutes he saw more unbelievable things then he did in the past five years he is an Admiral. But Doctor Voz wasn't finished.

"There are also his eyes. We tried five times, but we weren't able to get a good scan. They are pitch black, and this is all we were able to confirm. He claims that they allow him to see more. We didn't test it, but his behavior is as if he can see, even with his eyes closed."
