Rushing to Save Erik

As soon as Liam saw Erik's body start to fall towards the ground limply, he began to move his stone giant towards him. He used the last bit of power to run over to Erik and catch him. He kicked the engine into overdrive, focusing all of its power on the legs.

The stone giant ran faster than ever. It jumped into the air safely catching Erik in its hand. As soon as it landed on the ground, it softly placed Erik on the ground before running out of power.

Once Liam saw that the stone giant ran out of power, he manually opened it and climbed down. He ran over to Erik to check on him but was terrified at what he found.

Erik's body was covered in multiple wounds. His skin had gone pale and his breathing was very weak. If he didn't get treated soon, he would not last long.

However, Liam wasted no time and jumped back into the stone giant. There he grabbed a small rectangular crystal. He pressed a symbol on the top of it, making it glow dimly. Once it began to glow, Liam started speaking to it.

"Hello! Hello! Can anyone hear me?" Liam desperately spoke into the crystal.

Back at the testing hall, everyone was wondering why the fighting had stopped. Many people believed that Erik had lost and that the wolf would be heading their way. Some believed Erik had managed to defeat the wolf and was heading over to let them know. But everything changed when people started to notice a dim light glowing behind the front desk.

Ian and his family were the closest to the desk so they were the first to notice it. Ellie walked over to the light and found a small rectangular crystal. As soon as she picked it up, a voice began to emit from it.

"Hello! Hello! Can anyone hear me? The battle has ended but I need immediate support. Erik is in critical condition and needs to be treated soon. If anyone can, please bring the first aid supplies from the testing hall."

The testing hall went quiet once everyone heard the message. Knowing that the battle had ended brought relief to many. But the thought of Erik being in critical condition filled everyone with dread.

However, the people who were affected the most were the Crests. They were all in a state of shock. The information they had just received was too difficult for them to process. But out of all of them, Ellie was having the most trouble understanding what she had heard.

She could not believe what she had heard and she refused to believe it. She wanted to run out of the testing hall to see for herself, to prove what she had heard wrong, but her body refused to move. Deep down she knew the information was true.

Her world was falling apart as the room seemed to spin around her. A ringing sound and her breathing filled her ears as the room spun faster. Her mind went blank with the message replaying in her head.

Slowly, everything began to slow down for her as tears started to form in her eyes. The ringing in her ears started to quiet down but her breathing became quicker. Soon she came back to her senses and quickly ran out of the testing hall, dropping the crystal as she ran.

Ian and Emmett tried to stop her but failed to catch her. Instead of running after her, the two of them turned their attention to the crystal.

Liam kept repeating and rephrasing his message for a few minutes when he finally heard a response.

"Hello? Who is this?" Liam heard the person on the other side say.

"This is Liam. Who am I talking to?" Liam responded.

The voice on the other end said, "This is Ian. What's happening over there?"

"As I said, Erik managed to defeat the wolf but is in a critical state. I need someone to bring me the first aid supplies so I can treat him. At the same time, I need someone to go to my workshop to bring more medical supplies."

"Understood. We'll get right on it." Immediately after saying that, Ian turned to Emmett and Kevin, and said, "Emmett, take the first aid supplies and go after Ellie, Kevin and I will go to Liam's workshop."

Both Emmett and Kevin agreed with Ian and started heading their separate ways. At the same time, Crystal also decided to go with Emmett to see Erik.

Everyone else slowly started to leave the testing hall. One by one everyone walked out to see the destruction left behind. Multiple buildings were destroyed in the fight. If the people had to take a guess, about 80 percent of the village was destroyed.

Out of all of the buildings that were destroyed, the Crest family's home was still standing. The restaurant Zoey's was also standing alongside a few adjacent buildings.

The view left so many devastated. Even so, everyone made their way to their homes and stores to salvage what they could.

Meanwhile, Kevin and Ian ran as fast as they could to get to Liam's workshop. It would take them a few minutes to get there at the speed they ran. Once there though, they were greeted by a terrifying sight.

On one of the sides of the building, they saw a massive hole. It looked as if something had crashed out of the building leaving giant footsteps behind.

Kevin and Ian didn't have time to worry about the situation so they walked into the workshop. Inside, the building looked like a tornado had torn through. The two of them paid little mind to it though and continued to look for the medical supplies.

Not long after, the two of them found an entire room filled with different medical supplies. They didn't waste time looking at everything and instead grabbed a large bag to start filling. They packed different types of syringes, medicines, surgery tools, and more, before making their way towards Erik.

By the time they were almost done packing, Ellie would be close to arriving where Erik was. She pushed herself as much as she could, running faster than ever. A couple of minutes later, she would finally see Liam sitting next to Erik treating his wounds.

Liam used some of his lightning powers to close any wound he could find. He hoped stopping the bleeding would help Erik's chances of surviving.

"DAD!" Liam heard someone scream out. He looked up to see Ellie running towards them. Tears were running down her face as she ran.

Once she got a better view though, she stopped dead in her tracks. The sight of Erik lying on the ground barely breathing was too much for her. She collapsed down on her knees as she softly cried out to Erik.

Liam tried to get her attention to see if she brought the first aid supplies, but she wouldn't respond to him.

"Damn it! Where is the first aid?" Liam said to himself. Not long after, Emmett and Crystal appeared next to him holding the first aid.

Liam turned to them and quickly grabbed the supplies to start properly treating Erik. As he did this, Emmett and Crystal looked at Erik's badly injured body. The two of them couldn't help but tear up.

Emmett's eyes were filled with horror at the sight. He tried to say something but his voice kept choking on him.

Crystal saw her two children struggling with the situation, so she went to hug them. As she did this, she also said, "Don't worry. Your dad is tougher than you think. He will survive this."

Far from the village, a carriage was quickly making its way to the village. Inside the carriage, there sat a tall woman. Her head was almost touching the roof of the carriage even though she was sitting.

The woman had tanned skin and a very curvy body. She wore a black dress that wrapped around her body, emphasizing her large chest and fairly wide hips. Along with the dress, she also wore a large black sun hat.

The woman stared out of the window, watching the rain fall with a worried face. It had been sunny not too long ago but when the carriage got close to the village, storm clouds started showing up.

Once the carriage entered the storm, both the driver and the woman would occasionally hear loud booming sounds coming from the village. The woman had no idea what was happening so she told the driver to speed up. The driver did as he was told and quickly sped up the carriage.

"Liam, what trouble have you gotten yourself into now?" the woman said.
