CHAPTER 38- WHAT JUST HAPPEN?

We came out from our hiding behind the barrel and the people in the street didn't mind us looking at the old mansion from a few distance away. I leaned at Emion whose trying to act cute, his scaring me, shivered ran down my spine but try to act cool and give a side eye to the place "So this is the PALACE?" I emphasis it because I really expecting it. "It's nothing like one" I said with a hint of mockery

"Well, the lord inside called it a palace. Actually that's a guild, own by someone who just won the title to be the next lord"

"Whose the lord?"

"Xylldor is the name" said Aldanard and gathered us on inside the tavern. I inhaled the alcohol and it feels like heaven but Luna Crest pinch my nose while listening to him "Well, getting them back is easy, we can just steal them.."

"Well that's good to hear" I said and he pointed at me. "WHAT?"

"You miss.. " he ran his tongue on his lower lips and look around "kung magbabayad kalang sa taong iyon bat di mo nalang kaya ibigay samin"

"And how would you steal them?" Pahabol na tanong ni Luna Crest

"Well that's easy, we can enter that palace and snatch them but we need something before going inside that palace..."

"Mansion"

He sighed heavily "Mansion, but we need  something to distract them, a beautiful lady perhaps"

"Well that's easy.." said Count Moreen but Aldanard stop him and he continued

"I'm not finished you old man, we need a dancer"

Duon palang nakalunok na ako ng wala sa oras. Napaisip ko agad na parang mga babae na magbelly dance sa harap ng lalake. Parang pang Indian style. Ganon ba gagawin ko? Oh shit wag naman sana "And she is perfect.."

"No" sabay ng iba. Aldanard sighed and shrugged and drank his brew

"Well then how about matching against him"

Napaisip naman ako ng suntukin ako ng malaking tao. "I'll do it as long we get those captived, Dancer nalang" I said and Luna Crest knock my head "Dance won't hurt anyone. Igiling kolang tong balakang ko kayo na bahala sa kanila"

"Nga pala matanong kita, why do you want them, you know they are lunarian, the thieves of the night"

"It's a long story and I don't wanna talk about it, you want the money or not?" that's my final words and he gave me that suspicious look before he leaned on Emion. And by their facial expressions, we just made a deal.

Hinatak nila ako paloob ng Isang silid at may Inabot sila sakin na damit at sinara na ang pinto. Tiningnan ko ito at para nga talga akong sasayaw ng belly dance. Nakakahiya pero sige isayaw natin ng todo, hopefully walang masamang mangyayari. Sinuot ko naman agad at lumabas na

I saw them talking "How do I look?" Tanong ko at lumingon silang sabay sabay at naibuga naman ni Luna Crest yung ininom niya at lumapit sakin at binalot ako ng cloak niya.

"She's not allowed to wear those revealing clothes!!"

"That's the only distraction we can..."

They flinched and terrified with him at para silang nanliliit ng dungawan sila nito "THEN FIND ANOTHER WAY!!"

Pumasok na silang lahat at ako lang ang naiwan sa labas. Di na nila ako pinayagang pumasok. Napatinghala ako sa sirang mansion at nabalingan ko naman ng tingin ang mga babae na may kapareho kong suot at may dala dala silang prutas at Inabot iyon sa mga lalake at nakapasok sila agad.

That gave me an idea. Kaso I have no money huhu nakakahiya! Ako lang Yung prinsesa na bankrupt!

Tumalikod na ako para maghanap ng paraan makapasok

"Hey where do your going?!" Nagtindigan ang balahibo ko ng may sumigaw sa likuran ko na kinalingon ko naman at may dalawang lalake na papalapit. I feel like a rat meets it's last day of survival. The terrors of those eyes almost melted my knees but it change into a smile.  Their mood change! "The party is this way" they invited me.

"Ahh"

My heart beats fast, the pressure is the same like going infront of the class and introduced yourself in the unfamiliar people in the room.

The cheering of people was deafening but the music is vibing with me. Napasabay naman ako sa tugtog nito at may humila sakin bigla at tinulak ako papunta sa mga babae na may dala dalang prutas.

"Where's your gift?!"

"I.. I don't have on.."

"Man give her something!!" sigaw nito at may ilang tao na umalis. She leaned to me again  and point her finger at me "If you do this again you'll clean up the place after this and clean the horses shit!" The man came rushing with a tray of drinks with a cup, She snatch it off and kick him away, she handed it to me with a bit aggressive and the drinks almost fell "Serve it to the lord!"

The line was moving and I was about twenty in line. I saw a topless man, sitting in front of the people. And the lady serve the foods on his table. There are few concubines sitting beside him, entertaining him. Seducing him. I was a bit stunned because I thought that the lord is a fat guy but actually di putang black handsome

Kumuha Siya ng wine at binasa Ang dibdib ng babae. I make a face when he lick the woman's breast and the woman just moan didn't even mind the people looking at them. Her moan made the crowds cheer. The other woman ran her fingers down to his pants and that made him look at her and devoured her lips like he was hungry. He carried her to his lap and pulled up her dress and suck her chest.

Kanina pa ako tinataasan ng balahibo kase ang lalaswa. SPG talaga de puta sakit sa mata. Wala akong mahanap na pwedeng ipambato sa kanila. Gagi RATED SPG bwesit! Nilingon ko ang paligid at walang nakatingin sakin. Kinuha ko ang baso at tinapon ko iyon sa kanya. Humarang naman ang babae at tumunog ang bungo nito.

"Who did that?!" The people began to look around and I remain forbearance, like an angel that fell from the heaven. Mukhang di makabasag pinggan.

I sighed in relief because I stop them. I counted and I'm almost ten in line. But I haven't seen my lunarian. He rose from his seat and the woman whose sitting on him fell on the floor but he didn't mind her but walked in front, like bragging himself how greatest he was than those hunter inside the room. Sabagay he owns the guild.

"People of Moonsune, behold the lunarian of Zenith. I'm making this dog my henchmen and capture more of Zenith to become my soldiers and use them to hunt Their fellow fairies and make this Moonsune the next rising Kingdom and after that. I'll conquer the other kingdom and become the one and only ruler of Zendalia!!" he was so proud of himself muntik na akong masuka.

The men was shouting in triumphs. The cheer goes wild as the two lunarian were introduced. Naawa ako kase hindi maayos ang pagkatrato niya sa kanila para silang ginawang aso. "Hoy move!!" Napabalik ako sa realidad ng may sumigaw sakin at pangatlo na ako sa linya. Hindi ako natuwa ng bigla siyang umupo kay Luna Ziegler at ginawa niya na parang kabayo. Hindi ko napigilan ang sarili ko at binagsak ang Dala ko at lumapit sa kanya at sinampal siya na kinasigaw ng mga madla.

Nagalit ito at sumigaw sakin pero sinuntok ko siya ulit na kinatulala niya.

" Thelia why are here?!" Vanessa begins to panick and hid me behind her. Tumayo yung lalake and unsheathed his sword but the two of them secured me. "Run away your highness" said Luna Vanessa and the men in the room compressed together, creating a battle ground to us.

" How dare you wench!"

"Tumabi nga kayo"

"Hindi pwede.."

"Tumabi nalang kayo, please!" I said and the two of them walked sideway. Nagsigawan lang ang mga madla at nakaturok samin ang mga espada na parang wala kaming takasan pareho. Dalawa kaming napalagitna nila. Bigla siyang umatake at nailagan ko naman at tumakbo palayo pero lahat ng pumaligid samin ay puro espada at nasugatan pa ako.

"Ang bastos mo naman, your stupid enough to fight a woman ang baba ng IQ mo bobo ka!"

Tumakbo siya sa harap ko. His grip tighten and I feel the impact of that blade, I know I'll be slice in half.

"Thelia take this!" Someone throw me a sword and it landed perfectly on my hand and I block his attacked. The impact was strong and I fell on one knee. Thanks to Luna Crest I somehow learn to defend myself. For now. And that surprised him. Mas diniinan niya Ang espada. Mabilis naman ang mata ko at at sinipa ang pinaka sensitive na parte ng katawan niya at napaupo siya na hawak hawak ang pagkalalake niya. I took advantages and kick him on the face.

"Finish him, finished him!!" Sigaw ng mga tao. Whoever won will be the next leader of the guild. Lumapit ako at sinaksak siya pero sa marble kolang itinarak ang espada at dinig ko ang pagpigil hininga niya dahil sa pagkabigla " I won"

"That's cheating" bigla siyang nagalit at sinuntok niya ako. I gasped hard. I was surprised that impact was unexpected, I spit something and I lost a tooth.  Dinura kolang ang dugo sa labi ko.

I saw him running with his sword it's aiming directly to my neck. I immediately move side way and he accidentally loses his balance and his foot slip, his face ran straight my fist, his stupidness save my ass and he unconsciously fell on the floor. I heard someone is panting beside my ears and saw Luna Crest running to defend me yet I  already done the job. "I did it!" I smile and I feel my face swollen.

Lumapit siya bigla sa lalake at natakot ako ng bugbugin niya ito. Nagkagulo sa loob at nagwawala na siya. Ket ang mga Lunarian napadasal nalang ng wala sa oras.

"LUNA CREST STOP!!!!!!!"

Di ko rin alam pero epekto siguro ng kaba at ayaw kong mamatay at sinagip ako ng swerte, di ko pa ata Oras mamatay, if I did satan will be mad as hell. became the next leader, in an unexpected way, it's a lucky night.

The men started to dance cheering and welcoming me as their new huntress to run the guild. "That was quite a show" said Aldanard while drinking a wine and Emion is having his good night with those ladies. Sinusubuan siya ng pagkain.

The guards outside are proud of me and they're eating together with the other hunter and huntresses. I really thought Moonsune is a terrible palace but turns out it's different. The people here are actually nice. Kumain lang ako ng strawberry at may taong lumapit sakin at napatinghala ako. siya yun, yung ex leader. He kneel on one knee and I saw Count Moreen beside him.

"So what's your plan to the Moonsune? Miss Thelia" he said, his voice is deep and it's giving a daddy vibes to me.

"Whatta bout call me Alex" I said and they quite like it.

Di ko rin alam anong gagawin ko sa Moonsune kase biglaan lang akong naging leader pero isa lang ang pumasok sa ulo ko na walang sinuman ang dapat mamuno dito. These people are the kingdoms greatest achievement, to be use as guard dog but I'm not gonna do the same.

This is my first build Empire, this people are now under my command. I feel proud but somehow I feel something danger is coming, not from these people but something way closer to me will betrayed me. I change the story wonder what will happen next.

"I'm going for a walk tomorrow to see this place"

"Can I be your knight, I can be used of you" Xylldor said, he was quite a nice guy, I thought his just a big dumb guy enjoying his life with woman.

"That won't do, i'm her knight" said Luna Crest. He just pop out of nowhere and now kneeling beside him.

"Well the more the merrier" I said at sumabay naman ang dalawa na sina Emion at Aldanard. "Can we?"

"Can I have your loyalty and trust?"

"As long you'll took care of our people as our new leader of Ugana" said Xylldor

Emion just scoff at him, like he was mocking him, Xylldor drew back a snarl "Shess man when did you became soft.."

"Hoy!!" nainsulto naman ito kay Emion. Natawa nalang ako pero ang cute nila.

Uncle spilled his coffee to hear such news " She? The..the, oh my lord"

"Turns out that Prince Inavie's Fiancee are indeed the greatest, he has a good taste of finding a legendary Queen"

Uncle was amused and he shouted and the crowds attention turn to him "Take any sword you want for free!!!!!" The people ran to his shop  , their flooding the way.

"Nonsense, you better check the city before sun down"

Naglakad lakad lang kameng lahat sa buong Moonsune at napaupo sa tagal ng paglilibot wala akong nakita na pwede kong baguhin parang ayaw din naman nilang baguhin ang Lugar na ito. May bata akong nakita na lumapit sa tindahan at nagnakaw ito bigla ng tinapay at kumaripas ng takbo. Nahuli siya nung tindero at muntikan siyang putulan Ng kamay, mabuting napigilan siya ni Luna Ziegler at inabutan siya ng bayad. Tumakbo ako papunta sa bata na niyayakap ang tinapay at takot na takot ito.

Medyo takot din ito sakin at tumakbo paalis. Sumabay lang ako para kaming mga batang nagtatakbuhan sa kalagitnaan ng daanan at mas natakot pa yung Bata samin. Nagsitabi lang yung mga tao samin.

Tinaas kolang ang kamay ko para patigilin sila at nagsalpukan silang lahat sa likuran ko.

"Huntress leave this kid with me" said Xylldor and I know I can trust him since he knows this place very well.

Wala naman akong balak na kunin ang Lugar na ito basta gusto kolang mayroon akong tauhan upang mapigilan ang ibang kaharian sa pagsakop. I don't want any fight or bloodshed not all war are worth fighting for. This is my chance to change the world.

"Okay then after you found that boys place, report to me"

"Aye" he said and left, someone poked me behind and I lean back.

"What are we doing this again?" Said Emion while chewing a gum

"I want to make an orhanage"

"What are you gonna do to my town, turn this place for lost kids ..?" I whack his head and he didn't expect that and Aldanard laughed at him.

"I want to help everyone around here and do the best I can, not just  playing around with girls!"

"Whoop busted!!"

"Bastard!" Galit na sigaw nito sa mga lunarian

"A lady can't rul..." I stop him by whacking his head again.

"Will see, never underestimate a woman's power" I said like a hero with a spotlight on, the lunarian spoiled me, bowing their heads like a kids

" All hail Alex, hail, hail"

I hussed them and look at the place sakto namang nag Gera Ang lamang loob ko sa gutom "Oh I see a coffee shop ano man let's go" aniko at tumango sila at pumunta na. Luna Crest blocked me and pinch my cheeks

"You just gathered men around you without my permission"

"Woaah woah chill I just wanna help I'm not doing anything wrong and you know that"

"It's not it, I don't like seeing you mingles with those idiots. You just trust someone you just met that night what if they did something to you when I wasn't around..."

"Luna Crest, trust me with this and I trust you to protect me, can I count on that?"

"Of course"

"If anything goes wrong, be my shield"

"I can be your shield and sword your highness so stop messing around, you can't just trust someone you've just met, and rushed to asked about loyalty from a stranger.  You can't trust anyone but yourself, people around here are different from the court, the only people you can trust is your family back home not here not from anyone, their still people will tried to manipulate you and if so naive to trust that, you'll be dead as an insects.."

"But I already trusted you"

"Wag mo akong itulad sa kanila may sarili akong rason bat ako sumama sayo sa paglalakbay..."

"Hey were starving here!!" Sigaw ni Emion sa labas ng pinto ng coffee shop at natawa lang ako kay Luna Crest na kanina pang mainit ang ulo. I take his hand and lead him there.
