Synopsis

Synopsis: Kairos Valtieri is an ordinary high school student living alone in the abandoned house of his late grandfather. After years of being abandoned by his family, his life takes an unexpected turn when he stumbles upon a hidden room in the house and discovers an ancient relic—a mysterious system that awakens within him. As he begins to unlock the system's powers, Kairos is thrown into a whirlwind of intense battles, strange evolutions, and unexplainable abilities. Each fight grants him new powers, but the price of his evolution is steep—his physical appearance changes overnight, and he begins to discover that his powers are evolving in ways he cannot predict. While dealing with the chaos of his transformation, Kairos meets Selene Ashford, a fierce girl whose life he saves from a group of thieves. She soon drags him into a world of secret academies, celestial powers, and forbidden magic. But as Kairos grows stronger, he learns that his evolution is no coincidence. A cosmic force, the Eternum Warden, is watching over him, pushing him to become something greater—a force capable of either saving or destroying the very fabric of existence. Kairos’ powers are not just a blessing but part of a grand scheme set in motion long before his birth. As he trains, loves, and fights alongside his new friends, he must uncover the true purpose of his abilities, all while confronting powerful foes, battling inner demons, and questioning his destiny. But with every victory, new enemies arise. A dark conspiracy is brewing, and Kairos will have to make impossible choices to unlock his true potential. Will he become the hero he was meant to be or succumb to the weight of the powers coursing through him? In a world where strength means survival and love can be both a strength and a weakness, Kairos must evolve beyond the limits of humanity—before the cosmos itself is torn apart.

Chapter 1Chapter 1: The Relic of Fate

The faint hum of city life was barely audible as Kairos Valtieri sat on the edge of his bed, staring out of his bedroom window at the familiar streets below. His life had been anything but ordinary, but lately, it had been… quiet. His parents had abandoned him years ago, leaving him with nothing but memories and a dusty inheritance. The house that had once belonged to his grandfather now felt like a hollow shell, filled with shadows of the past.

Kairos' grandfather had been a man of quiet wisdom, a scholar who had taught him the value of knowledge, discipline, and patience. But after the old man's death six months ago, the house had become a place of solitude. Kairos wasn't exactly complaining—his grandfather had taken him in after the tragic death of his parents when he was just six years old. But now, it was just him in the large, ancient house, surrounded by relics of the past that held little meaning to him. The only company he had was the occasional call from his distant relatives, but even that had stopped recently.

"Another day, another lonely evening," Kairos muttered to himself, slouching back against the bed, a worn-out textbook resting on his lap. His fingers lazily traced the pages, but his mind wasn't on schoolwork. The high school senior had long stopped caring about his grades or the future. It was all a blur of monotony.

But that evening, something would change.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, Kairos heard an odd noise—a soft creaking from somewhere deep within the house. He glanced toward the source: the grand hallway leading toward his grandfather's study, a part of the house that had been untouched since the old man's death. Despite the long years of living in this place, there had always been something unsettling about that room. His grandfather had told him never to go near it, but curiosity had always gnawed at the back of his mind.

Tonight, that curiosity got the best of him. Kairos tossed his textbook aside, stood up, and walked toward the study. His steps echoed eerily through the empty halls. He had never been one for adventure, but something about the mystery of the room called to him.

The door to the study creaked open as he pushed it. A low, dusty smell greeted him, thick with the scent of old paper and leather. The room was exactly as he remembered it: bookshelves lining the walls, scattered notes from his grandfather's research, and strange artifacts arranged carefully on a wooden table. But something was different tonight.

There, in the far corner of the room, a part of the wall seemed… odd. The edges of a wooden panel jutted out slightly from the rest of the wall, almost as if it had been deliberately hidden.

Kairos' heart quickened as he approached the panel, his hand brushing against the wood. It felt cool to the touch. He gently pushed against it, and with a soft grinding noise, the panel slid open, revealing a hidden compartment. Inside was a small, ornate box, shimmering in the dim light. It was unlike anything he had ever seen—a relic, ancient and strange, covered in faint markings and symbols he didn't recognize.

Without thinking, Kairos reached inside and picked up the box. It felt heavy in his hands, as though it was imbued with some kind of power. The moment his fingers brushed against the surface, an electric jolt shot up his arm, sending a wave of warmth and energy coursing through his body.

He stumbled back, nearly dropping the box, but something inside him urged him to hold on. The world around him seemed to blur as a strange force enveloped him, filling his mind with fragmented images and voices that he couldn't quite understand. The symbols on the box began to glow with a soft, ethereal light, and a deep, resonant voice echoed in his head.

"The chosen shall rise. The reckoning begins. Prepare for evolution."

Kairos' breath caught in his throat, the words unfamiliar yet somehow familiar. His heart raced. What had just happened? He glanced down at the box, now pulsing with a strange, warm glow, before suddenly, the light shot upward, enveloping him in a blinding flash.

When the light faded, he was on his knees, his body trembling. His mind was buzzing with new knowledge—his senses sharper, his thoughts clearer. He could feel something different inside him, something powerful. The world around him seemed more vibrant, more alive, as though he had awakened from a long, dreamless slumber.

Kairos stood slowly, his body feeling strangely light. He could feel an unfamiliar energy flowing through him, like a stream of raw power waiting to be harnessed. He glanced at his hands, and to his shock, they looked different—stronger, more defined. His body felt as if it had been reshaped overnight, every muscle, every fiber of his being pulsing with newfound strength.

"Wh-what is this?" he whispered to himself, his voice unsteady.

The voice in his head returned, calm and authoritative.

"You have unlocked the Celestial System. Your journey has begun. Level One: The Evolution Path."

Kairos' heart skipped a beat. The Celestial System?

Before he could process the words, a holographic screen materialized in front of him, glowing with vibrant symbols and stats.

---

A rush of energy coursed through him, and Kairos couldn't suppress the overwhelming urge to test out his new strength. He clenched his fist, and with a sudden surge of power, a nearby book flew off the shelf and into the wall, leaving a small dent.

He stared at the screen, still in disbelief. This was real. His body was changing. He was changing.

Before he could fully process what had just occurred, his phone buzzed in his pocket. It was a message from a girl he'd never met, yet her name was familiar.

Selene Ashford: "Kairos, are you alright? I… I saw what happened at the store earlier. You saved me. I don't know who you are, but we need to talk."

Kairos paused, his mind reeling. Who was this girl? What did she know about what had just happened?

But there was no time to think. His world had just been flipped upside down, and the journey ahead was about to begin.

The third also happens to be that I hate to be tested the most. The ocean's depths are too shallow, the sun's light too dim, the ground too mundane and the skies too small. For those born of this colorless world to deem themselves worthy of casting judgement on me... I can only say that it's laughable. I am the Nameless Immortal God because even the Heavens themselves are unworthy to name me. Even while I am unaware of my own identity, I will dry the oceans until cracked land is all that is left, I will cast the sun into endless darkness, I will shatter the ground with my feet and sunder the skies with my blade.
